About: I've done house & pet sitting through Trusted Housesitters, as well as for friends. I fostered a Belgian Mal rescue dog from Mexico for 6 months, and helped acclimate him to life in a home, and did leash and crate training with him. I've cared for cats, small dogs, large dogs, including an adorable (and ginormous) Labradoodle puppy. Last summer I volunteered to transport two rescue puppies to the US from Puerto Rico. I'm also a plant mom and I love tending to my plants and will happily spoil your leafy babies as well. I work from home most days, so it’s usually easy for me to do check-ins and dog walks during weekdays. I am happy to take your pet with me in my car. I live in a one bedroom condo, and I am happy to host animals in my home up to 50 pounds. I am also happy to stay in your home with your pet.

My kids (ages 5 & 11) love animals too and they help me out with routine, safety, and making sure each pet feels comfortable and well cared for. We are great at following each pet's routine closely based on the owner's instructions. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, light exercise, and any medications as directed. We make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for during each visit, clean up after meals or play, and provide photos so owners know their pet is doing well.

Russell (my dog) likes to sleep and cuddle all day. If you know dachshunds then you know how it is. Whether your dog needs playtime, a walk or is a cuddle bug, I can ensure your pet stays happy and active during their stay. I will follow your specific feeding instructions and ensure your pet has plenty of fresh water and their favorite treats (if allowed).
