Maritza was so accommodating and I’m glad we found her as she went above and beyond caring for Finn and provided us regular updates throughout the day! Finn had so much fun with his new friends and didn’t want to leave 😭. We will definitely be using Maritza again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable sitter!”

10. Connie A.
“Our family left our dog with Connie as we went to Legoland CA. We were anxious at first but when we were already in Legoland we received pictures of our dog with hers lying on her lap which really made us feel better. She also sent a picture of him in the bed which I’m sure made our dog feel at home because our dog always sleeps with my children. We enjoyed our time at Legoland knowing our dog is in good hands. Connie also showed up really early, both with pick up and drop off, very punctual. I love that she also let my dog sit with her in her car. We would definitely rebook her when we’re back in the area.”

“I read and heard a lot of horror stories about Rover and I was nervous on leaving my puppy with a stranger. But thankfully I found Shawn. Shawn always kept me updated throughout the day on how my puppy was doing and sent me photos without me even asking, which was great. My puppy was always excited to go to Shawn’s house and was happy to see him as well. I was glad he was because that meant he was happy and loved being there. I felt that my puppy was safe with him and was getting lots of love. I will definitely be booking with Shawn only for now on and will recommend him to other protective dog parents.”

About: My husband and I have 1 indoor cat. She is fine with dogs as long as they don’t chase or bark at her. We do not own any dogs but have had them in the past. I have experience with senior and handicap doggies as well as medications, cones, different harnesses, crates, and expressing. These days, I’m only hosting small/medium dogs. Currently, we do not take puppies, big dogs, high energy dogs or any dog bookings that do not get along with cats. My home is very small and the dogs only have access to a smallish area. My cat mainly stays in our room but she free roams in the house and comes out to look outside if the doors are open or to the living room where her litter box is located. If your dog will not allow my cat to free roam from room to room without worry then please do not book me as a sitter. High energy & loud barkers scare my cat and I will deny all booking requests with those temperaments. Please review all indoor photos to see if that will work for your dog before booking. Low energy, well tempered dogs please- otherwise it is hard for me to concentrate at my regular job. All of my extra time after 5pm & weekends will go to your doggy. Walks + playtime + love/pets. Thank you for respecting my preferences. I require a meet and greet if this is my first time boarding your pet. For extended stays, I may require a trial overnight stay to see if your pet is compatible as sometimes it’s hard to tell how dogs will react once they are left with us and want to ensure all things will go smoothly while they are in my care. I work from home full-time. I have MWF commitments during 12-1p so I cannot do drop offs or pick ups during this time. I am open for dog boarding (overnight stays at my house) and doggy daycare (same day supervision, no overnight) as long as my calendar isn’t blocked off. I am open for walks and drop in visits M-F between 7-730 am and 530-7pm only. I will only travel a 2-3 mile radius from Lakewood. I am free all day for walks and drop in visits (check ins at your house) during the WEEKEND at any time within a 10 mile radius. I am perfect during the week for a dog with separation anxiety as I am home all day. Please don’t show up at these times for drop off/pick up : M-F ( I am forced to clock in and out at my desk at 8 am and out at 5pm. Please do not come 5 mins before or after my start and end times. If drop offs are on a Tuesday, Street sweeping is from 12:30-2:30 so drop offs and pick ups might have to be quick. If drop offs are on a Wednesday it will have to be before 730 or after 815 am as our gardener will be here. I also have a meeting at 10 am Wednesdays so between 10-1030 will be a little hard. During times of rain I will meet you @ an alt. address as our gate sticks and I cannot get it opened or closed. I live on a Main Street and sometimes there is little parking. If you have a lot of items and need help, I have a wagon and would be happy to meet you on the side streets if needed. I do not accommodate early or late drop offs or pickup. Depending on the season (time change) 6-7 am earliest and 8-9 pm latest. We have a fully fenced front and backyard. Our house is small and your dog will only have access to our kitchen & dining room area. I work in my dining room so I will keep an eye on them. I give all dogs filtered water unless you state tap is ok. I have some blankets I can set on the couch if no bed is provided. I do block off my bedroom and living room initially during meet and greets with baby gates until I can see how your dog will react around my cat and to ensure they do not confuse rugs as grass and pee/poop there as dogs become excited in new places and I’ve had this happen multiple times.
19. Jill L.
“This was my first time using Rover and I am so grateful to have found Jill to take care of my girl Charlie🩷Charlie has extreme separation anxiety so leaving her at home alone is not an option. She immediately took to Jill and made herself at home. I loved the videos, pictures and updates Jill sent throughout the day and knowing Charlie was getting plenty of walks, love and cuddles while I was away. I will definitely be bringing Charlie back.”
20. Oscar T.
“Everything was great, providing updates, pictures, texts. We knew that Peter was in great hands. Peter surely enjoyed his day care with Oscar.”
