About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs and animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently have a cat of my own so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I also have a background as a licensed home childcare provider where safety, patience, responsibility and communication are part of my everyday routine. Caring for others comes naturally to me whether they have two legs or four! I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, provide updates and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I have one friendly resident cat. If needed, he can be kept completely separate from visiting pets, so everyone can relax comfortably and safely. I have a flexible schedule. I work from 5 days a week and I’m available most weekends to provide attention, care and updates for your pet. Safety and comfort are always my priority. My experience as a licensed childcare provider has made me very mindful of supervision, routines, cleanliness and creating a calm environment. I have a fully fenced yard and a small catio where cats can safely enjoy fresh air and enrichment. I’m also working on creating an enclosed cat-friendly garden space so cats can experience the outdoors safely without the risk of roaming away. Outdoor time will always depend on each cat’s personality, comfort level and owner preference. Visiting pets will have their own comfortable spaces in my home and I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality and needs so they feel safe and cared for while their family is away.

My puppy pretzel, isn’t very social, and when I brought her to Marina’s house for a meet up, she wasn’t initially friendly towards the other dogs. However, Marina patiently worked with pretzel and carefully introduced her to the group. I am impressed by Marina’s ability to create a calm and welcoming environment. She is incredibly patient, caring, and always goes the extra mile to help. She’s also flexible with scheduling, which has been a huge help! On top of that, her rates are very reasonable!”

About: We have both had dogs almost all of our lives. We have experience with puppies, young dogs, middle aged dogs and seniors. Having recently lost our last one (a Malti-Tzu) at the age of 15, we have even more senior experience, including injections, picky eaters, giving meds (pills, drops, foams, sprays, etc). One of us is almost always home, so your dog/s will usually have someone there giving them love and attention. We live in a quiet neighborhood with good sidewalks to get some good sniffs and walks in too. Working from home gives us plenty of time with your dog. Occasionally we will need to go run errands or to an appointment, so your dog would not be alone long, if that happens to overlap. We get up somewhat early, between 6-7:30 am, and can walk your dog/s then, and as needed throughout the day, along with a longer daily walk if your pup needs it, and then an evening walk around 8:00 pm, or whatever your dogs needs are. We like to tailor our care to your dog’s needs, be it more active and wanting more play time and walks, or more downtime and cuddles. We have dog beds, dog bowls, and general dog supplies, and just enjoy being with them and making them happy…and maybe even a little spoiling :)

About: One thing about me, I genuinely care for your pet. I treat each pet as if they are my own and make sure to show that love and care throughout my time with them. Ive been a dog sitter and walker for over 9 years before joining this app. From puppies to seniors and with different health needs, I have the experience needed to take care of your pup. I now live in South Gate in a home with a fenced-in yard with convenient access to freeways and streets for easy commute. I understand the needs of different types of dogs from the overly friendly to very reactive and can accommodate to the dog’s needs accordingly. I currently have a 10 year-old husky and 1 year-old chihuahua mix I take care of at home. I’m currently in between jobs and have a lot of time on my hands. My time is most free during business hours but I am happy to accommodate to your scheduling needs. I currently live in an apartment. While it is a bit cramped, my husky is not territorial in the least and guest pups have an easy time accommodating to the space. If I am in someone else’s home, I will make sure to adhere to the rules and guidelines they provide me to take care of their pup(s).

About: Hello! My name is Allison and I am a certified dog-lover! I have over 15 years of experience taking care of my own, family members', and friends' dogs, as well one year of dog walking with over 100 dogs via the Wag app. I grew up taking care of an adorable toy poodle that I appropriately named Peppy. Ever since I can remember I've helped dog-sit and walk family's and friends' dogs of all kind, some of which include my aunt's adorable yet mischievous Bichon Frise and two clever Jack Russel Terriers, my good friend's sweet and enormous husky, and my grandma's energetic little mutt. In New York I had the privilege of caring for my roommate's full-size Golden Retriever, a gorgeous and gentle giant named Jack, who I regularly took out for walks, bathed, fed, and administered arthritis medication when my roommate was frequently out of town. I joined Rover and Wag after my own dog passed because I can never get enough of dogs and was already helping friends and neighbors dog walk and sit part time. Every minute I've worked with my clients' pups has been such a joy since I've joined. I've gained an average five star rating from over 100 reviews on Wag. I do my absolute best to ensure both the owner and pup are comfortable and happy at all times during our time together, and have taken the time to educate myself, practice, and perfect various techniques to ensure a happy and safe pup no matter the size, breed, or temperament. I took a few year hiatus from Rover due to frequent moves and other life circumstances, but I'm excited to say that I've settled in Huntington Beach and am taking bookings again! It's a privilege to gain the trust and share the love of your loyal, furry friends. I can't wait to meet and spend time with them! Having been a pup mom myself, I understand that pups need special love and care when they are in a new environment without Mom and Dad. Because I work from home, I am happy to say I have the ability to keep your pup company all day. From time to time, I may need to go out for 1-2 hours for errands or appointments but can arrange my schedule to avoid these or even bring them along with me if your pup struggles with separation anxiety. I live in the lovely neighborhood of Bixby Knolls. There is a semi-gated, private grassy area within my apartment complex that I take the pups out for potty. For longer walks, I love taking a stroll through the beautiful homes with generous sidewalks and grass in surrounding in the area. I typically take at least 2 twenty minutes walks per day with Meeka, but am more than happy to have an excuse to take longer and more frequent walks if your energetic pup needs more outdoor time. Because my remote work 8a-4p schedule is flexible, I'm able to play, cuddle, and take frequent potty breaks throughout the workday to ensure your pup gets plenty of love.
