“Jason came through in a pinch when I needed a last minute dog sitter. I was able to drop Stevie off early and he watched her all day. He also sent videos of her playing and on walks throughout the day. I picked up a happy, healthy and tired pup at the end of the day. Couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter and will definitely be reaching out to Jason when I need a dog sitter in the future.”

“Jo is extremely communicative towards the pawrents and loving toward the pups. We definitely appreciate all the photos of our pup and the reports at the end of the day. I would 100% their services as their space is lovely and the care is exceptional!”

About: Dogs and cats have been a part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, several cats, and my family always fostered dogs in need. I am very passionate about animals and will do all I can to provide for them and respect their needs. I currently work a full time job during the weekdays, but my evenings and weekends are free. This still allows me to check on your animals, go on long walks, and provide any additional play or cuddle time. I live in a house with a spacious backyard that my own pup loves to relax in. I also live by several parks that are great walks for some exercise.
“Ximena did a wonderful job doggy sitting my puppy I was a little nervous since Im a first time puppy owner but she did an excellent job of keeping him happy and entertained thank you I appreciate the work you do.”

About: I’m a true animal lover, they have always been a big part of my life, and over the years I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to parakeets and fish. Dogs have held a special place in my heart for over 20 years, and the bond I’ve shared with my own has taught me just how deeply pets feel love, patience, and consistency. Caring for animals truly brings me joy, I have a special soft spot for senior dogs who may need extra care, medications, or a little more tenderness and attention. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like family. I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Clear communication helps ensure the best experience for everyone, so I kindly ask that drop-off and pick-up times are accurate and that you let me know as soon as possible if plans change. Drop-off and pick-up hours are between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Please note: For the safety, comfort, and happiness of all pets, dogs in my care must be fully house-trained and get along very well with other dogs. Caring for pets is a natural part of my day, and my flexible schedule allows me to spend lots of one-on-one time with them. I love giving plenty of cuddles, playtime, and gentle exercise, making sure each pet feels relaxed, happy, and truly at home while you’re away. I live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and love taking dogs on easy, enjoyable walks through calm streets or over to a nearby park for some fresh air and fun. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and always follow your instructions carefully. Above all, I focus on keeping every pup safe, comfortable, and happy, making sure they feel loved and well cared for the whole time they’re with me. 🐾
“Kristen and Severin were amazing! They were able to accommodate a very last minute booking. They were very communicative and our pups absolutely loved them. We will definitely book with Kristen and Severin again!”

“Kim is the best sitter we’ve ever had. Extremely friendly and flexible with times and days. Sends daily pictures and even allowed our dog to sleep with them. Could not recommend Kim more !”

About: Hanging out with dogs brings me so much joy. I was a dog walker in my 20s, and now I’m a mom of two kids and one sweet pup and genuinely love being around animals. What sets me apart is my mix of experience and calm, reliable mom energy. I’m active, patient, attentive, and great at reading a dog’s needs — whether that’s extra playtime, a slower pace, or a little reassurance. I’ve worked with puppies who need structure and consistency, and I’m just as comfortable caring for senior dogs who move at their own speed. I’m also experienced with basic training reinforcement, giving meds, and keeping routines steady so pets feel secure. Your dog will be treated like part of the family — safe, loved, and well cared for. I'm a freelance writer and work from home, so my schedule is very calm and flexible. My kids are in school and only with me 50 percent of the time. I'm very active and go on long walks every day, with or without dogs. In my home, dogs have a safe, clean, and calm space to play, relax, and explore, with plenty of attention and walks to keep them happy. I make sure all interactions are supervised, feeding schedules are followed, and any special needs or medications are carefully managed. When visiting a client’s home, I respect your space while maintaining the same high level of care by letting dogs out on schedule and providing exercise and loving companionship.

“Donna is a fantastic and caring pet sitter. Every time I am in need of doggy daycare for my fur baby, I immediately book with Donna. She has been watching my pup since he was months old and he loves to see her every time .”

“Sanjna and her partner took great care of my dog. He can be a handful because he needs alot of stimulation and they were patient with him and kept him occupied. He got along well and even slept with their dog. I'd recommend her!”

“Our family left our dog with Connie as we went to Legoland CA. We were anxious at first but when we were already in Legoland we received pictures of our dog with hers lying on her lap which really made us feel better. She also sent a picture of him in the bed which I’m sure made our dog feel at home because our dog always sleeps with my children. We enjoyed our time at Legoland knowing our dog is in good hands. Connie also showed up really early, both with pick up and drop off, very punctual. I love that she also let my dog sit with her in her car. We would definitely rebook her when we’re back in the area.”

“Elise creates a fun time for our Charlie girl every time she doggy sits her. She comes back happy and tired from all the fun with Elise and the other pups. We are so happy we found Elise, it makes it easier when we need leave her for the day, knowing Charlie is having a great time and is well cared for.”

About: I've been taking care of my own and others pets for 20 years. Whatever needs or preferences your pet has, I can make it work. I'm currently a live in caregiver for my grandma. I'm also a student taking online classes from home, so I'm here most of the time. I have a dog Rigby and cat Shadow that I love very much. Pets add so much joy to my life, so I'm looking for opportunities to help other families. I have a high fence backyard with lots of grass and room to run. My dog Rigby loves other dogs and my cat Shadow is friendly as well. If your dog needs to be crated, I can accommodate that too.
“Brittany was delightful to work with….prior to finalizing the booking we did a meet and greet and that allowed us to quickly see how natural she was with our pup, Reggie. Reggie immediately responded in a very positive manner to Brittany. Brittany’s own dog was mellow and good with Reggie. The day we dropped Reggie off, as soon as I got her out of the car she headed right for Brittany’s front door! Brittany is enthusiastic and caring, and put us at ease that we made the right decision choosing her, we will be rebooking with her soon! One last thing Brittany is great at communicating and sent multiple pictures to us of Reggie. Thanks Brittany see you again soon.”

“Marilyn & Eyon & Erilynn a. took excellent care of our little Chihuahua mix for two days of day care. Our Lola is timid and doesn’t like anything she’s unfamiliar with, but she adjusted to the routine of Marilyn and Erilynn very nicely. We were put at ease with photos and text messages about how Lola was doing in our absence. We put our faith in Marilyn and Erilynn and it was the right thing to do for us and our dog. Thank you for your wonderful service!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, while also sitting for others. Including every day task of catering to cats and dogs, feeding, walking, play time and cleaning up after the messy ones, lol here for you and your loved ones needs. I am free most of the time looking for a new hobby at the moment. I believe I would enjoy being around more furry friends. How I care for your loved one will vary, our friends and babies with paws are just like people and plants, must all be treated with different card in order to be catered and cared for.
City College Area dog parents share their Rover experiences
Vanessa was awesome for supporting us on short notice. Cared for Leia as one of her own and Leia really enjoyed her stay. Provided frequent updates and followed Leia’s daily routine to ensure she was comfortable during her stay, especially since it was Leia’s first time. We highly recommend Vanessa and we would definitely book for her services in the near future.

Caroline was so great with Beedee! This was our first experience on Rover and we’re honestly so happy with it all thanks to Caroline. We were anxious about Beedee’s separation anxiety and unwillingness to walk but Caroline took a more cooperative approach allowing beedee to go at her own pace to acclimate to her new environment. I was also nervous about how Beedee can get strong zoomies or dart towards cats but that didn't seem to be a problem at all. Caroline also gave us photo/video updates frequently so it put us at ease knowing Beedee is in good hands. Overall I had such a great experience with Caroline and will be coming back. Thank you so much!!😊

Angie’s profile mentions that she is a dog whisperer, and this is completely accurate. As soon as my dog saw her, he ran towards her like he’d known her all his life, even though this was his first time meeting Angie. My dog, who has some separation anxiety, was completely comfortable with me leaving him with her. I would definitely book Angie again.
Excellent and will be using again tomorrow. Punctual, friendly and very good with Marley. Her dog, was friendly and energetic and they got on really well. Marley has separation anxiety, and was really content and calm when we picked him up. Thankyou very much Natasha.
