I work from home, so if your pet is boarding with me, I’ll be available almost 24/7 to keep them company and give them all the TLC they need to have a happy stay in my home. If I am doing a drop by visit to your house, my flexible schedule allows me to spend time with your pet when it’s most needed and keep them on their usual schedule.

I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, love, and extra attention to their needs and routine. If your pet is staying at my home, I offer a calm and loving environment where I will be with them to play throughout the day. I have a safe, private and fully fenced backyard for their use and they are also free to roam around the house as they like. And I only host one pet / pet family at a time, so your fur babies will have my full attention. If I am dropping by your home to pay your pet a visit, I will follow your feeding / care guidelines meticulously and will make sure to chat with you beforehand and learn about your pet’s favorite activities so we can have fun while I’m there. I’m also happy to check on the house, bring in mail, water plants, etc. to give you peace of mind.

I’m more than happy to care for pets with special needs, unique personalities, or anxiety about their owners being away. Whether they’re shy, energetic, or need a little extra TLC, I just ask that you share any important details upfront so I can give them the best care possible and help them feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
Every pet is unique and has their own favorite things to do... some can't wait for playtime with their toys, some prefer belly rubs, and some just want to hang out and chill. I always talk to pet parents and jot down notes beforehand so I can tailor our time together to keep them happy, comfortable, and having fun. If your pet is boarding at my home, a typical day will consist of them spending time with me while I work, but will also include plenty of breaks to play and go for walks between my meetings. In the evening, they are welcome to curl up on the couch with me to watch TV and relax.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I currently have two adorable rabbits and a fishtank, and I regularly care for my “fur nieces and nephews” (my friends' and family's dogs!). Growing up, I had everything from cats and dogs to birds, reptiles, and even the occasional exotic critter, so I truly love all animals and feel comfortable caring for pets of any kind, breed, or size. I’ve been pet sitting and walking dogs since I was a kid—my neighbors always trusted me to care for their pets—and I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters. I’m experienced with senior animals, puppies / kittens, administering medications, and even caring for pets with mobility aids like wheelchairs or that have trouble seeing. I’m known for my calm, loving presence and my ability to make animals feel safe, seen, and cared for.

Megan took wonderful care of Rocco, providing plenty of updates and asking questions, when necessary. Rocco had a relaxing stay, chilling on their couch, sunbathing in their yard, and walking around the neighborhood, and ended his stay in great condition. Thank you!!
Megan was fantastic! My dog felt at home with her! She even bought him treats!
Megan’s the best! She is responsive, thoughtful, and caring. We got many updates and photos all throughout and Megan spent a lot of time tiring out our energetic pup (not an easy thing to do!) Our girl looked so comfortable at her place and we will definitely have her stay with Megan again!
Megan was so incredibly sweet to my dog Zorro and sent me regular updates with photos. Zorro has special health needs that require a specific feeding schedule and Megan was very detail-oriented and asked great questions to make sure she could care for him in the best way. Zorro got super comfortable at her place right away and I would love to have Zorro come stay with her again!
