I work a flexible full-time schedule from my home where I can care for your pet and take breaks to walk and play with them. If your pet is more comfortable in their own home, I am available to sit them there as my daytime job is remote. I am tidy and leave every space the same (if not better) than when I entered. Your pet's comfort and safety are my top priority. Having grown up in a home where dogs of all sizes were cherished family members, I understand how to read a pet's needs and create a calm, secure environment. About: Hello! I am a recent transplant to the District from Southern California. I love dogs and I grew up with a yellow lab named Sunny. I've been dog walking and pet-sitting for 5+ years and I have experience taking care of a variety of breeds (including small and large dogs). I went to UCLA for undergraduate and I now work for a software company in Client Services in Virginia. I work full time during the day, but I am available on weekdays after work and on weekends. I like to stay active and I would love to take a dog companion on long walks or hikes. Some places I like to dog-walk are Rock Creek Park and the C&O Canal in Georgetown. About: I'm around dogs all the time. I used to work in a dog-friendly office so I got to play with them and pet them during business hours (which I admittedly did quite a bit of) and I am a dog owner so I get to play with them and pet them when I am home. I also watch my sisters' dogs when they go out of town. Long story short, I have lots of experience raising, caring for, and loving dogs and would treat yours like I would my own. I was recently laid off so am home and available essentially 24/7 right now and would love to be able to help out with your pet care needs, whatever they may be. I have one dog of my own that has full reign of my condo. I do not have a yard, but I take him out for walks/potty breaks at least 3 times a day. I can walk your dog as often as you like and if I’m house sitting I will respect whatever your rules are (ie if no pets allowed on the couch while you’re there then same when I’m there) I can walk your dog however frequently and for whatever amount of time you prefer. I usually take my own dog on one long walk (about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs) a day and then a shorter one (about 20-30 min) so that’s the amount of time I’m used to spending on walks. I am also available to dog sit at your home or simply check in on your pet as well. I can even bring my own dog over to hang out with your pets (with your expressed permission up front of course).

About: I experienced love at first sight with my dog, Peluchine in 2005. He lived 19 beautiful years by my side, he peacefully passed in May, 2024. While having my own dog, I learned to care for Peluchine (sassy Bichone Frisé) during all stages of his life (puppy stage, teenage stage, and elderly stage). During the years I mastered a steady routine that worked for him and I. With that being said, I specialize in senior care, long steady walks, and medication administration. I strive to care for each dog like I cared for mine! I’m available for dog day care on the weekends 8am-8pm. I am available for dog walking Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm. I enjoy hiking and beach walks on the weekend and if your dog likes field trips, I’ll be more than happy to have your fur baby tag along! I live in a dog friendly neighborhood. I have a large fenced yard with ample space for your dog to run around and play. Fenced area is more than 8 FT tall.

Her and her family love having Bella around, and treat her as if she was one of their own! Bella does not relax easily when she's not at our home, but she always does very well at Karina's house. We receive regular photos of Bella playing and being a goofball, but even some pics of her actually relaxed and napping!
