Doggy Day Care in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, CA

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years now. I have fostered many dogs and adopted my own in 2020. It is my passion to provide a safe space for our dog friends because I feel they are our fur companions. I offer professional walking, crate training and potty training outdoors. I am currently a full time student working from home. I have a lot of time on my hands and find my happiest moments revolve around making animals happy and cared for. I am also a mother and licensed child care provider. I take dogs out for 2-3 walks a day. I am very family with learning dog language to know when they have to potty. I am open to sharing my home with dogs with the exception of very aggressive dogs. I am really good with playful dogs and dogs that also love to be left alone. My services include potty training, crate training, overnight stays and attentive daily walks.

“I dropped my pup off with Nichole on my way to work. She made it very easy to leave him and was flexible enough for me to pick him up after I got off at 10pm. She tried to send picks throughout the day but wasn’t as familiar with the day care settings so I didn’t get them until later. I don’t blame her for that though because Rover is not a very good app tbh haha. But I think she learned how to do it so I’m sure if she did it now she wouldn’t have a problem. Some of the pictures she took were really good, too. My feeding instructions don’t seem too difficult to me but lots of people who watch my pup don’t seem to get it right. But Nichole did it perfectly”

“Paige is such a great sitter for my Goldendoodle pup! We met first for a meet and greet with her sweet pup and they were both very friendly. She seemed like she was going to be a good fit for us so I booked her for the week. I am a nurse and I work 12.5 hour shifts but with commuting it's even longer. So I look for sitters who work from home, preferably with a dog mine can play with and are trustworthy, reliable, and who have great communication, provide great care, and have time for play and walks. Paige fits the bill perfectly! She sends many updates and pictures throughout the day and at the end of my long work day I pick up a happy, healthy, tired from play pup :) She also boarded him overnight when I was out of town and even dropped him off at my apartment for me! I totally recommend Paige...I just hope I book her first :)”

“Jason came through in a pinch when I needed a last minute dog sitter. I was able to drop Stevie off early and he watched her all day. He also sent videos of her playing and on walks throughout the day. I picked up a happy, healthy and tired pup at the end of the day. About: I’m all about making sure your pup feels right at home and has a blast while you’re away. I’ve been around dogs my whole life, so I’m familiar to all sorts of breeds and personalities. Whether it’s 3 dogs or 1, I’m ready to give them the care they deserve. I’m also into helping pups learn good habits early on, and I understand the extra care senior dogs need, making sure they’re comfortable and happy. My love for dogs runs deep, so you can trust that your furry friend is in good hands with me. I work from home and frequently step away from the computer throughout the day for walks and fresh air. My pup Basil and I typically end our day with a few rounds of fetch at dog beach! My main goal is to make sure your dog feels right at home, whether they’re staying with me or I’m looking after them at your place. When they’re here, I set up comfy spots for them to chill, play, and eat, so they can relax without a care in the world. I keep things tidy and have plenty of toys around to keep them entertained. I stick to a simple routine for feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks, so they always know what to expect and feel at ease.
