About: Hi there! I’m a Boston Terrier owner and dog-lover in Belmont Shore. I like to stay active and I would love to take your dog on a walk (my dog is lazy and would rather stay home!). Some places I like to dog-walk are the green belt and the beach path. I’m very experienced in taking care of short-nosed dogs. I can't wait to meet your pup! I work remote so my schedule is very flexible. For day care, I typically take dogs out for a morning, midday, and evening walk and then they can relax in the house or yard while I work. I have a small, fenced front yard that I allow dogs to spend time in with supervision. I have a small dog (Boston Terrier) that will also be in the home if you book day care. He is very friendly and enjoys other dogs after a few minutes warming up to them!

Throughout the entirety of your pup’s stay, they will experience a ton of fun as a part of our little family!! Whether that involves hikes, beach trips, or group playtime, we’ll be sure that your pup feels apart of our home! :) 🐕🏠 We’re more than glad to provide a variety of updates of your pup throughout their stay with us :) We love to know how our pup is doing throughout the duration of her stay, and certainly wish the same for any owner! For additional information regarding your pup’s experience during specific services, please feel free to contact me! Both pick ups, and drop offs take place outside (detailed specifications are provided upon confirmation of bookings)! All scheduled m&g’s (meet and greets) will be taking place on Saturdays and/or Sundays, so please keep this in mind when requesting bookings! For instance, if you would like us to care for your pup over the weekend, an m&g can be scheduled on the Saturday and/or Sunday prior to thereof. I live in a secure apartment that provides your pup with the space to both roam and laze about. Dogs are amazing companions to both love and care for, and we’d love to spoil your furbaby as much as you would throughout their stay! The sweetest lab ever, Cali, will keep ur pet company while they stay with us as well! She loves all dogs and humans! :) 🐕🐾 In concern for the safety and well being of both my pup and yours, I request that you please keep your pup up to date on all vaccines, flea & tick medications, and ID tags. Please contact me with both any questions or special needs that your dog may require!
“Wolfie is a rescue and he is super nervous around humans, but learning. Jen is the first person besides us to walk Wolfie. She definitely helped Wolfie make progress. Wolfie went from barking at her upon meeting her to adoring her at the end of the walk. Jen is super chill and great at observing a dog’s behavior and adjusting to his/her needs. Overall a 10/10.”

“Shelli is a dream come true! She’s reliable, friendly, and always punctual! She always sends photos and videos of Mystic having a blast! She’s thorough and trustworthy.. I am so grateful for her and appreciate her help! Mystic is also a huge fan of hers :) She always looks forward to visits with Shelli. :)”

About: I love all dogs; I've never met one I didn't like. I'm not a pet owner; I'm a dog parent. I'm a former tech executive working at home and always available for your dog. I have a secured-access gated apartment with very large patio. I would love to look after your dog (up to 20 pounds) in my home. Your dog will get a minimum of four walks a day. I'd love to meet and greet you in advance to address any concerns you may have. About my yard Large private secured patio. Great for chasing a ball or sunb My experience administering medication I am experienced in giving shots, doing subcutaneous fluids with a drip line, and administering oral medications. OTHER: DUE TO THE LARGE INCREASE OF FRAUD ON ROVER, ALL POTENTIAL CLIENTS WILL BE VETTED IN ADVANCE. I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I don't leave a dog alone for more than 3.5 hours. I am always available to attend to the needs of a dog. Dogs are always on a leash when they exit my apartment, even in the large courtyard. I always go through the doorway first when leaving the apartment, dogs are always behind me. I never remove a dog's collar for any reason.
About: I’ve spent much of my adult life in roles where people trusted me with things that mattered to them like their homes, businesses, teams and even careers. I spent my undergraduate years as an Assistant Property Manager before becoming an LAX operations leader and former full-time recruiter, and I bring that same sense of responsibility to more than 10 years of caring for pets. I have especially good experience with senior animals: more than half of the dogs and cats I’ve cared for have been seniors. I love their personalities and am comfortable adjusting to slower walks, medication schedules, established routines and the little preferences that become especially important as pets get older. Even re-potty training them! At the other end of the spectrum, I’m an active person and outrigger paddler, so energetic dogs are very welcome too. Long walks, play and outdoor time fit my lifestyle after having been in grad school in upstate New York. My approach is individualized. My experience has taught me how much better the outcome is when you listen first, ask good questions and understand what constitutes a good fit. Pets aren’t any different. I want to learn their personality and normal routine so I can meet them where they are. My goal is for you to come home thinking, "My pets and home are happy, healthy, safe and ready for me to come back without skipping a beat." My schedule is flexible, and I plan my day around each pet’s routine. I often work from my computer remotely during the day and have broad availability for walks, drop-ins and house sitting. I do have activities outside the home, including early-morning outrigger paddling, but I make sure feeding, potty breaks, medication and other important routines are taken care of first. For house sitting, I’m generally a good fit for pets who are comfortable alone for 4–6 hours at a time, or longer when that is already part of their normal routine. I’m happy to talk through your pet’s schedule before booking and adjust where I reasonably can. I like to begin with a meet-and-greet so I can understand your pet’s normal behavior, routine, medications, household setup and emergency plan before care begins. I review instructions carefully and ask questions upfront that may include how you want me to communicate if something unexpected happens. I pay attention to changes that can be easy to miss, from unusual itching or appetite changes to changes in energy, bathroom habits or behavior, and I’ll let you know when something seems out of the ordinary. I’m equally conscientious with the home itself. I’m a “leave it better than you found it” person. I keep the spaces I use tidy, handle mail and packages according to your preferences, take out trash, water plants and care for linens when appropriate. If you already have cleaners, gardeners or other small business service providers, I’m happy to work around the systems you already have.
“Ashley was such a wonderful help watching our four kitties! She kept us in the loop, made sure they were all taken care of, and gave them lots of love and attention. I’m definitely planning to have her come back to watch the kitties again! Plus, I really appreciated her bringing the package to our porch.”

“Highly recommend Elise! She maintained great communication, which provided peace of mind. She paid great attention to detail, ensuring our cat was well cared for, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.”

“We weren’t sure about getting a dog sitter because our dog has never been alone with a stranger before and she can get antsy when she’s alone (high energy German shepherd/Basset Hound mix). However, her and Annie became best friends by the time we got back. We ended up booking her for the next night too and would’ve had her watch our dog for the whole stay if we could! Additionally, Annie made sure to go above and beyond, helping us modify the price because this app can be confusing with that. Whenever we come back we’re sure to book her again!”

About: Hi I'm Lucy! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with two Lab/Shepard mixes my whole life and 7 years of experience of dog care! I'm a huge dog lover, and this past year my husband and I adopted a German Shepard/Great Pyrenes/Aussie named Bodhi from the animal shelter - and he's my best friend! I have experience training dogs of different breeds and can read dog body language very well. With my dog, I have done extensive training including potty training, basic commands, recall, E-collar training, and more! When taking care of your pup, I treat them as my own and make sure I tailor my services to what works best for them. As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important your guidelines and expectations are for your pup, and their safety and happiness are my top priority. I understand how hard it can be to work full time while having your furry bff at home. Whether you have a young pup or old soul, I'd love to help you take care of them so can have peace of mind and they can have fun! I'm currently working part time and obtaining a yoga teacher certification, so I have plenty of free time! I'm my schedule is free on Monday-Thursday for hours between 6am- 6pm. I am not available for any Friday-Sunday work due to my yoga teacher training. I love taking my dog to the dog beach at Long Beach and as well as going on long walks! When I'm caring for your pups, I make sure they will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. As a dog owner of a very active breed, I know how important it is to burn their energy and stimulate their brain! I will never push your pup to the edge of their comfort zone - and know the body language they portray when they are uncomfortable. I will always talk through your expectations and how we can collaborate to take the best care of your pup at the very beginning of their care. As a dog owner I understand that your directions and expectations for your dog are the most important thing!

I am very aware of my surroundings so when it comes to client homes. I’ll keep a good eye on not just the pet, but the care for the home. Any loose toys, objects or cables will be protected and remain out of sight of the pet for their safety. I’ll take care and make sure your pet has the fun they need, while maintaining a tidy home.

“Casey is the BEST!! She went above and beyond to make sure my cat June was cared for and felt comfortable. I also loved all of the pictures and updates :) Could not recommend her more!!!”

“Jasmine took care of our cat while away for a week, and it was a wonderful experience! She was very attentive to details of care instructions and communicated clearly from the first meeting until the last drop-in. She showed a genuine care for our little guy, which is exactly what a pet parent wants! Will use her again and definitely recommend. Thank you, Jasmine!”

We had a wonderful experience with Zeni! She was punctual, friendly, and communicated with us throughout her time dropping in for our two cats. It was clear right away that she loves animals, and we could tell our cats loved her too from the pictures she took every visit. We would happily use Zeni’s services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. Thank you again!!
From the meet and greet through both visits, I felt like my kitties were in thoughtful, caring hands. I didn't worry once while I was gone. Colleen sent lovely photos from each visit, including one of my shyest cat making biscuits on day one! She was flexible with scheduling, and even took the trash out on trash day, which wasn't something I'd mentioned in my (very lengthy) cat-sitting notes. It was clear she'd actually taken the time to read them closely. I would absolutely rebook, and I highly recommend her for sitting your fur babies, they'll be very well taken care of.

Jennifer was awesome with her check-ins of my cat. I provided her instructions (she asked clarifying questions) and followed them consistently. It was a relief knowing my cat was looked after responsibly. I highly recommend Jennifer and would request and recommend her services.

Shelli is wonderful! Our pups have a new best friend and love having her come by and spend time with them. Shelli is super communicative, sends pictures throughout the day and takes amazing care of our pups. She came and did a meet-and-greet before her stay to make sure she had all of the info necessary - she's thorough and made me feel super safe and confident having her come and take care of them. Will for sure be using Shelli again and again! :)

Miranda, came to watch my two kitties, Ollie & Finn. She spent a lot of time interacting with them, ensuring they were well fed and watered, and cuddling with them. It was amazing to have someone reliable to check in and spend time in one's space. Miranda was also very communicative about anything that came up, which was great. Would highly recommend!
