Hi there! I’m Danielle, and I have 5 years of pet care experience working with cats (indoor, outdoor, and shy ones too!), dogs of all breeds and ages, and even the occasional flock of chickens. In Humboldt County, I built lasting relationships with many long-term clients—watching puppies grow up, caring for senior pets, and forming real bonds with both animals and their humans. I always stick to the routine and guidelines you provide so your pet feels comfortable and secure. On walks, I stay very aware of their body language and surroundings to make sure they’re not feeling stressed or reactive. In your home, I treat everything with care and respect—double-checking doors and windows and keeping the environment safe and calm. I send daily photo updates, keep consistent communication, and always ask for emergency contacts and vet information so I’m fully prepared if anything unexpected comes up.

Our sitter we had booked for our staycation canceled and Danielle was able to step in last minute. She was great with our kitten Benny and provided detailed updates and pics! We’re back home an Benny is happy as ever!

It is our second time working with her, she is absolutely fantastic! She even increased her hours mid week because I had made a mistake with booking. She was fantastic and handled everything on her end so it took me five seconds to approve payments and to get back to enjoying my vacation! It’s so nice to have somebody who takes such good care of my home and follows instructions down to the detail! She’s really good with both of our cats and makes sure to give me very thorough updates every time which I greatly appreciate!!! couldn’t recommend enough, plan on using her again in the coming months!
Danielle was very easy to communicate with! Our cat is very scared with strangers but she handled the situation great and made sure she was safe and doing well each day :)

Schedule
I currently work full-time at CSU Long Beach Monday through Friday. Weekday drop-in hours: Before 7:30AM and after 5:30PM (I can sometimes schedule afternoon visits over my lunch break) Weekend drop-in hours: Fully flexible! Overnight care: 7PM to 7AM the next morning. I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs within my schedule. If additional accommodations are needed, I often co-sit with my partner, Sam, a fellow Rover sitter with over 100 5-star reviews. Together, we make a great team to ensure pets get the care and attention they need! ☺️

- Whether you have a dog or a cat, I’d love to know about their personality, how they do around other people or animals, any medical needs, and their food and potty routines. For dogs, please share their energy level, if they’re reactive on walks, and how they typically behave around other dogs or strangers. I don’t take dogs to off-leash dog parks, just to keep things safe and low-risk for everyone. For cats, it helps to know their playtime routine, how approachable or independent they are, and what their litter box setup looks like. I always ask for written notes with all of this info during booking so I can make sure your pet gets the best care possible!
