Hi folks!! I pet and baby sat many years ago throughout school and undergrad. I am a therapist currently on medical leave who wants to spend some time meaningfully connecting with sweet souls who don’t use many words :) I adore animals and have had them my whole life (at the most, I had 5 at once!). I also regularly help care for community cats here in Long Beach informally - helping get them food, water, and medical care when needed is important to me. They’re a special part of our neighborhood! Happy to provide personal references. I want to know what will make you feel most at ease taking care of your beloved! Please do reach out if you feel I may be a good fit. **Unfortunately, though I adore cats, I am somewhat allergic. Happy to do a dog walk in a home which has cats, or do a drop in visit for a cat / in a home with a cat, but I cannot housesit in a home with a cat. Thank you for your understanding 💗

I will take your lead - let me know what works best for your family and pet, and I am happy to oblige. Beyond that, I’ll do my best to read your fur baby and their needs, and to provide accordingly. Safety comes first, attunement comes second, fun and everything else comes third for me :)

Miranda has done a great job walking our dog Louie, communicative and reliable!
Miranda, came to watch my two kitties, Ollie & Finn. She spent a lot of time interacting with them, ensuring they were well fed and watered, and cuddling with them. It was amazing to have someone reliable to check in and spend time in one's space. Miranda was also very communicative about anything that came up, which was great. Would highly recommend!
Miranda was professional, friendly and responsive from the first interaction. I had a difficult situation with two fairly new rescue dogs that sometimes get into doggy tiffs and she handled it with confidence and ease. She kept us updated regularly while we were gone and let me know if there were any issues. When I got anrrived home from our 12 day trip, our house was very neat and tidy. I would highly recommend Miranda to anyone who needs a pet sitter!
Miranda has been so great with our dog! He’s been so happy to get out on walks with her and I would totally recommend her as a reliable, punctual and trustworthy dog sitter!
We have a last minute cancellation so we were a bit stressed but Miranda jumped in and saved the day! Very responsive and took great care of our senior pup. We will definitely be using Miranda in the future!

Schedule
My schedule is pretty open and flexible. love to have a little bit of warning for a booking, but I have a great deal of time on my hands these days.
