Care is offered in your home, to reduce the strain on your animal and keep his or her environment and schedule as normal as possible. My goal is to maintain your dog's routines and consistently enforce any positive training protocols, to ensure as smooth a transition as possible. I am experienced with all kinds of animals, from dogs of any breed and size, to cats, small mammals, birds, exotics, and fish. With over 15 years experience in the animal sheltering field & 25 years pet sitting I am used to providing exceptional care to other people's pets under extraordinary circumstances. I can work with all dogs, from super-social to skittish, and understand the importance of exercise and mental stimulation to maintaining an animal's overall health. Does your dog like long walks? Great! So do I. Play time in the yard? I'm an expert ball-thrower! Quiet time inside? I can do that too. If your pet has special needs, I am also skilled at providing medication and fluids and dealing with behavior issues. SERVICES OFFERED: Premiere in-home overnight care: Let your animals relax at home while you're away. This premium service provides one-on-one care to your animals overnight and includes evening and morning meal service, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I'll work with you to tailor an experience that is just right for your animal(s). Walks: Provide your dog an opportunity to stretch their legs and get some exercise while you're out. Options for one-time and weekly walking services are available. Drop-In Care: For animals who don't need overnight care (or need additional visits throughout the day), tailored drop-in services are available starting at 30 minute visits and available up to 12 hours long. I'll work with you to design a visit that meets all of your animal's needs! Medication Administration: Ensure your animal's medical needs are met with this service. I can administer oral medications and injections, as well as subcutaneous fluids. Key Pick-Up/Hand-Off: Let me come to you to pick-up and drop-off keys before and after your service. This is a perfect add-on for homes without a lockbox or other way of securing keys. All services include daily updates and photos! Why I love pet sitting I've loved animals all my life, and started volunteering at my local humane society when I was in high school. I have served as a board member for a non-profit humane society and was previously employed as a full-time program manager for a humane society where I worked with animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments daily, as well as fostering animals when needed. My last foster dog lived with me for seven months while we worked through her resource guarding issues to find her a permanent home.
