“Shelli is a dream come true! She’s reliable, friendly, and always punctual! She always sends photos and videos of Mystic having a blast! She’s thorough and trustworthy.. I am so grateful for her and appreciate her help! Mystic is also a huge fan of hers :) She always looks forward to visits with Shelli. :)”

“Wolfie is a rescue and he is super nervous around humans, but learning. Jen is the first person besides us to walk Wolfie. She definitely helped Wolfie make progress. Wolfie went from barking at her upon meeting her to adoring her at the end of the walk. Jen is super chill and great at observing a dog’s behavior and adjusting to his/her needs. Overall a 10/10.”

About: I’ve always had pets growing up and have always pet sat for neighbors and friends. I always stick to your pets scheduled routine. I also genuinely love to spend time with pets other than mine. 😊 I’m currently a full time student at csulb studying Biochem, so I have Fridays and weekends pretty much free! I do however have some gaps in between classes that I could squeeze in pet drop ins. My pets along with clients pets usually stick to or have a schedule that I always like to follow as I find this creates the most amount of comfort for them especially while their parent is away. I love to spend time with pets especially now that I am away from my pets back home for college.
“Kennedy was such a great sitter! I needed a last minute sitter and he was able to help me check in on my 13 year old pug all week. He gave her lots of love and provided updates. As a pet sitter myself, I 100% recommend Kennedy and his services. Reliable, friendly, and a true pet lover!”
About: I’ve spent much of my adult life in roles where people trusted me with things that mattered to them like their homes, businesses, teams and even careers. I spent my undergraduate years as an Assistant Property Manager before becoming an LAX operations leader and former full-time recruiter, and I bring that same sense of responsibility to more than 10 years of caring for pets. I have especially good experience with senior animals: more than half of the dogs and cats I’ve cared for have been seniors. I love their personalities and am comfortable adjusting to slower walks, medication schedules, established routines and the little preferences that become especially important as pets get older. Even re-potty training them! At the other end of the spectrum, I’m an active person and outrigger paddler, so energetic dogs are very welcome too. Long walks, play and outdoor time fit my lifestyle after having been in grad school in upstate New York. My approach is individualized. My experience has taught me how much better the outcome is when you listen first, ask good questions and understand what constitutes a good fit. Pets aren’t any different. I want to learn their personality and normal routine so I can meet them where they are. My goal is for you to come home thinking, "My pets and home are happy, healthy, safe and ready for me to come back without skipping a beat." My schedule is flexible, and I plan my day around each pet’s routine. I often work from my computer remotely during the day and have broad availability for walks, drop-ins and house sitting. I do have activities outside the home, including early-morning outrigger paddling, but I make sure feeding, potty breaks, medication and other important routines are taken care of first. For house sitting, I’m generally a good fit for pets who are comfortable alone for 4–6 hours at a time, or longer when that is already part of their normal routine. I’m happy to talk through your pet’s schedule before booking and adjust where I reasonably can. I like to begin with a meet-and-greet so I can understand your pet’s normal behavior, routine, medications, household setup and emergency plan before care begins. I review instructions carefully and ask questions upfront that may include how you want me to communicate if something unexpected happens. I pay attention to changes that can be easy to miss, from unusual itching or appetite changes to changes in energy, bathroom habits or behavior, and I’ll let you know when something seems out of the ordinary. I’m equally conscientious with the home itself. I’m a “leave it better than you found it” person. I keep the spaces I use tidy, handle mail and packages according to your preferences, take out trash, water plants and care for linens when appropriate. If you already have cleaners, gardeners or other small business service providers, I’m happy to work around the systems you already have.
About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has been a lifelong passion, not simply a job. I’ve been working with and volunteering with animals since 2010, but my love for animals began long before that. Throughout college, I studied Animal Science, started my own rescue, and gained hands-on experience caring for animals ranging from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, amphibians, and arachnids. One of the experiences that shaped me most was adopting my late Miniature Pinscher. He had been returned by multiple adopters because he was considered “complicated” and was scheduled to be euthanized that same week. I brought him home and soon realized that his behavior was rooted in a history of abuse and fear. It took nearly two years of patience, consistency, and unconditional love to help him learn to trust people again. Watching my best friend slowly become comfortable, confident, and trusting was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. That experience taught me something I carry into every animal I care for: sometimes, what looks like “bad behavior” is simply an animal communicating fear, anxiety, or a past experience they don't know how to overcome. I understand that every animal is different. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, elderly, shy, reactive, or simply needs a little extra patience, I take the time to understand their individual personality and needs. I don’t simply watch pets, I build trust with them, advocate for them, and treat them like they’re my own. 🐾 I’m currently going back to school to pursue my Master’s Degree, and pet sitting is the perfect way for me to make the most of my free time. Rather than simply filling my schedule, I get to spend that time doing something I genuinely love, which is caring for and spending time with fur babies! My school schedule also gives me the flexibility to dedicate quality time and attention to your pets. Whether they need companionship, playtime, walks, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m excited to make pet care a meaningful part of my routine. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. I’m not an accredited dog trainer, but I have years of hands-on experience and working with my own dogs and cats. I use patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and clear boundaries to help pets feel comfortable and understood. When caring for pets in my home, I want them to feel like they are truly at home. I do my best to maintain their normal routines, provide plenty of attention and companionship, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I will treat with the same respect I would give my own. I keep their environment clean and orderly, follow your instructions carefully, and maintain their usual feeding, medication, exercise, and daily routines whenever possible. I also understand that caring for your pet means caring for their home, too. I want you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. Your home is your pet’s safe place, and I will treat both your home and your fur baby with the care, respect, and love they deserve.

“I can always count on Christopher! He’s great with Rosie especially since she needs some xtra love and care with post surgery and new diet! Thanks Chris!!”

About: I have experience with many types of animals in the past few years. From large dogs such as huskies, golden retrievers to bulldogs. To smaller dogs such as Shih Tzu, Frenchies and even new born puppies! I also have experience with bird care and rodents. A love for animals means to give them the best quality care. I am currently working part time with mid day-closing shifts. I tend to have 2-3 days off a weeks, which allows me to be able to have dedicated time to take care of people’s furry babies. I am very aware of my surroundings so when it comes to client homes. I’ll keep a good eye on not just the pet, but the care for the home. Any loose toys, objects or cables will be protected and remain out of sight of the pet for their safety. I’ll take care and make sure your pet has the fun they need, while maintaining a tidy home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little girl. At this time, I only provide cat boarding but will happily drop in, play, and/or walk your dog, if needed. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for. I also offer pickup and drop-off for added convenience. My goal is to make your cat’s stay feel like a comfortable home away from home.
“Jasmine took care of our cat while away for a week, and it was a wonderful experience! She was very attentive to details of care instructions and communicated clearly from the first meeting until the last drop-in. She showed a genuine care for our little guy, which is exactly what a pet parent wants! Will use her again and definitely recommend. Thank you, Jasmine!”

“This is the first time I’ve used Rover and I will definitely use them again! I have two labs and they are my life!!! Christina came over and treated them like her own and even had them perform for some treats!!! At the meet and greet she paid attention to them and didn’t mind a lot of lab kisses! The girls loved her. Thank you Christina and I’ll definitely be using you again…”

“Soleil was AMAZING, and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough! She took such wonderful care of Lemon while I was away at a conference, and I never had to worry for a second. She was reliable, communicative, incredibly sweet with Lemon, and just made the whole experience so easy. She also went so far above and beyond what I asked her to do. I came home and realized she had cleaned my cat’s litter box AND taken out the trash—neither of which was remotely part of our arrangement! It was such a thoughtful surprise after a long trip, and honestly just says so much about the kind of person she is. I came home to happy pets and a home that had clearly been really cared for, which is about the best feeling you can have after traveling. Soleil is kind, thoughtful, dependable, and an absolute gem. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and would recommend her to basically anyone who will listen. Lemon and I are officially huge Soleil fans!”

We had a wonderful experience with Zeni! She was punctual, friendly, and communicated with us throughout her time dropping in for our two cats. It was clear right away that she loves animals, and we could tell our cats loved her too from the pictures she took every visit. We would happily use Zeni’s services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. Thank you again!!
Jennifer was awesome with her check-ins of my cat. I provided her instructions (she asked clarifying questions) and followed them consistently. It was a relief knowing my cat was looked after responsibly. I highly recommend Jennifer and would request and recommend her services.

Shelli is wonderful! Our pups have a new best friend and love having her come by and spend time with them. Shelli is super communicative, sends pictures throughout the day and takes amazing care of our pups. She came and did a meet-and-greet before her stay to make sure she had all of the info necessary - she's thorough and made me feel super safe and confident having her come and take care of them. Will for sure be using Shelli again and again! :)

Miranda, came to watch my two kitties, Ollie & Finn. She spent a lot of time interacting with them, ensuring they were well fed and watered, and cuddling with them. It was amazing to have someone reliable to check in and spend time in one's space. Miranda was also very communicative about anything that came up, which was great. Would highly recommend!
