About: I have been around dogs all my life. I rescued and raised my own terrier mixes, including my senior dog, Annie who is 12. I have cared for neighbors’ dogs of all sizes. I’ve attended numerous training classes for my own dogs. I love being with dogs and will treat yours like family. I am a school teacher and have weekends and summers off. During the summer I have more availability, mornings, afternoons and evenings. During the school year I am available in the evenings and weekends. I have a small fenced in backyard. My little dog Annie gets along well with other dogs. I walk my her twice a day every day. I understand the importance of a routine, attention and playtime.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs throughout my life and genuinely enjoy their company. I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter a few days a week. I have completed the shelters Fear Free training that teaches how to recognize and alleviate Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) in pets. The training touches on how to read animal body language, low stress handling techniques, environmental and protocol modifications. I have experience with puppies, adults, and senior dogs. I currently work part-time. My schedule consist of working M,W,F at 11:00 AM-3:00 PM and T,Th at 11:00 AM-4:00 PM. I am not scheduled at my day job on the weekends. So on Saturday and Sunday I am available for constant care. I can house sit, do drop in’s, and walks 7 days a week. But on weekdays I will be out 4-5 hours a day due to my work schedule. I will always respect clients boundaries. I understand the importance of leaving the place in good condition and cleaning up after myself. Most importantly sending updates to the owners on how their pets are doing. I also understand the importance of the big responsibility it is to care for my clients pets. I will always treat them as my own, with compassion, care, love and respect.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and caring for pets now is second nature. I raised and trained my own dog from puppyhood, giving me hands on experience with everything from potty training and basic commands to daily excersise, enrichment, and routine care. As a marathon runner, I am especially well suited for active and high energy dogs. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, runs, hikes, or plenty of playtime, I am happy to help them get the excerise and attention they need. I also grew up with two family dogs and currently help care for my roommates cat, so I am comfortable with different personalties, energy levels, and care needs. Beyond dogs and cats, I've cared for guinea pigs, hamsters, and reptiles. At one point, I was responsible for 8 pets at the same time, which taught me how to stay organized, attentive, and reliable when managing multiple feeding schedules, cleaning routines, and individual needs. My goal is to treat every pet like they're my own and give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving and capable hands. I am currently on summer break from UC Davis and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I am available for drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate a variety of schedules and will do my best to work around your pets routine. I understand that every pet has unique needs, so I will be extremely thorough and follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding, medications, excersise, training, and household rules. Safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets secure at all times, and make sure they receive plenty of supervision, affection, and enrichment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you are away.

About: I’ve had pets since as long as I could remember. Right now, I have 3 babies that are my whole world. My dog, Chloe, is 17yrs and she’s been in my life since I was 6 years old. My rabbit, Eevee, was dumped and abandoned at a nearby field, and I found her while on a walk. She’s been with me for nearly 3yrs now. Then came my cat, Ponyo, and I’ve had her since she was a kitten, she will be 3yrs in July. I have always loved animals more than people, even more than myself, to be honest. I see every single pet, even ones that aren’t mine, as family, and equally deserving of love and respect. Update: My baby Chloe has recently passed and I am extremely heartbroken. She was my soulmate. I miss her everyday. Grief is love with nowhere to go. If given the opportunity to care for your pet I would not only be helping you but you would be helping me as well. My biggest and only responsibilities are my own little ones, so I am always at home caring for them. I struggle with my mental and physical health, so most regular jobs can be a bit too much pressure on me. I have 3 very different pets in my home that each have different needs. My dog being a senior means I have to pay extra attention to her and be diligent with her care. I am very knowledgeable and experienced in handling different types of animals of all ages.

“Met Darla for the first time over Rover.com, but right off the bat, she seemed very responsible and dog loving that I had no doubt she’d take good care of our boys. She helped us on Drop In service twice a day to feed the dogs, give injections to one of them who is diabetic, and minor spot cleanings. She was very punctual and provided updates with photos in a timely manner throughout the entire 4 days we were gone. About: I’ve always been the one for my family and friends to call when they need someone to care for their dog. I don’t mind staying overnights in your home to make sure your fur babies feel safe and loved. I have a special love for senior dogs, I just had to say goodbye to my golden girl. I have the patience for puppies, seeing that I survived my corgi puppy. I have experience in administering meds, even getting the tough pills down. I will keep detailed notes on each dog and exactly what they need. I don’t take pet sitting lightly and I feel lucky to have gained pet parents’ trust when asked to watch their pets. I have so much love for dogs, I hope I’m lucky enough to watch your fur baby. I can make morning calls during the week any time after 8:30am. I’m free all day during the weekends. I can do overnights with 24 hour notice. I will strictly follow the client’s routine with sitting in their home. I know how crucial that routine is to pets. I will not be all routine and no play though. I’ll make sure to have fun interactive things to keeps the pets happy while tiring them out for a goodnight’s sleep.
