I’ve been pet sitting informally for many years and have been on Rover for about a year. I also work as a teacher at a child development center, so caring for others, following routines, handling potty needs, and communicating clearly are all second nature to me. I love pet sitting because it gives me the chance to spend quality time with animals and get to know their individual personalities. I work weekdays, but I’m available for morning walks, meals, and potty breaks, as well as evening care and walks. Depending on how close you are to my workplace, I may also be able to stop by for a lunchtime potty break. I follow your pet’s routine closely, provide regular updates, and treat your home with care and respect. I’m reliable, attentive, and always happy to communicate if anything comes up. We had such a wonderful experience with Jack while we were away on a European vacation! He did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our two Maltese dogs, saltwater fish & freshwater aquariums. The pups responded to him quickly, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were so far away. He was also a fantastic communicator, sending us pictures and videos of the dogs every day. It was so reassuring and special to see them happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful care he gave our pups and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable. We will definitely be asking him to watch our dogs again!
Jack was absolutely fantastic as a sitter for our Annie girl. This was the first time we had ever used Rover and Jack made this the best possible experience. He provided lots of updates, sent us lots of pictures and we could tell that he genuinely cared for and loved our girl while we were gone. Not once did we worry about how she was doing while she was in Jack's care. We came back to our apartment looking better than when we left it, could not tell we had a sitter there at all, more like we had a house cleaner come by. Would recommend Jack to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, loving and responsible dog sitter. Will 100% book with Jack again when the time comes.
We have scheduled Jack for dog sitting for an upcoming 10 day vacation. To help my dogs become familiar with Jack, we scheduled several dog walking visits beforehand. He is good natured with dogs and they warm up to him easily. I know we will have a very restful and relaxing vacation knowing our dogs will be in good hands with Jack. .
This is the second time that I’ve had Jack stay with our beloved babies. I’m a very anxious person, and I really appreciate all the attention and care that Jack gives our babies. And in addition to that he is very responsive and he leaves our house better than he found it. I feel like I am so overly blessed by having Jack take care of our babies.
Jack is an incredible dog sitter! I was nervous about leaving my long-haired, diva dachshund, Roxana, for a couple of nights because the last time I left her she was sad and defiant, waiting for me. Jack eased my worries immediately. He is personable, flexible, and extremely engaged. He managed her sun exposure and health needs perfectly—including all of her dietary supplements and medication. He also sent cute, high-quality updates that captured her spirit. The photos were reassuring and lovely. He even learned the names of all her neighborhood dog amigos. She also bonded with him really quickly which she refused to do with her last dog sitter. I will definitely book him again!
My pup had a blast hanging with Jack for the day. He sent regular updates and I always feel at ease leaving her in his care.
