“We hired Shelli to check in on our cat 2-3x a day for a week we were away. We looked forward to every one of her reports! She was thorough, sent lots of photos, and even asked if we needed anything else around the house checked on. We’re so happy we found Shelli!”

“Gina is great! We are return clients because she took such good care of our pup, administering medicine and all. She’s communicative, sends nice pictures and status updates while we’re away, and our dog loves her. 100% recommend.”

“Lucia was wonderful with my puppy! She eased all my worries and kept me constantly updated. I will only be booking her for all future services! 10/10 Service 🤩”

“Wolfie is a rescue and he is super nervous around humans, but learning. Jen is the first person besides us to walk Wolfie. She definitely helped Wolfie make progress. Wolfie went from barking at her upon meeting her to adoring her at the end of the walk. Jen is super chill and great at observing a dog’s behavior and adjusting to his/her needs. Overall a 10/10.”

About: Hi! I'm Lara and I am a dog and cat lover! I grew up with dogs and helped my sister raise her mini Aussie during covid. Neighbors and friends have trusted me over the years to take care of their pets and I'd love to help take care of yours :) I'm an active person and love to explore. My daily routine already includes beach walks and parks, all that's missing is your furry friend. I have an apartment with plenty of open space and no other pets. Making it a comfortable environment no matter your pet's personality. I am conveniently located within walking distance of Rosie's Dog Beach!
“Amber took wonderful care of my cat Eloise! I always looked forward to seeing the cute pictures and comments after each drop in visit, and it looked like Eloise really enjoyed the company and playtime. I'll definitely ask her to pet sit again in the future! :)”

“Elise was absolutely the best! Not only was she caring with my dog, but she also kept me informed during her drop-in visits. I could tell Lur felt comfortable with her based on the pictures she sent me throughout the day. She even left some thoughtful gifts. I will definitely hire her again to take care of my dog. Thank you!”

About: There's never been a time in my life that I haven't been surrounded by plants and animals since my childhood! In my adult life as a long-term Long Beach (and Idyllwild) resident, I've fostered and cared for countless dogs for myself, family and friends. Caring for pets, plants, people and homes are things I love the most and I would love the opportunity to learn more about your family's care needs. I'm a real estate agent with a flexible schedule that's always in / around Bluff Heights and Long Beach. I have property up in the San Jacinto mountains (in Idyllwild) where I love spending free time hiking and hanging in the forest (especially during the summer). We have a large (8k+ square foot) yard with a dog door where our dogs have access during the day. They enjoy being in the garden with me chasing squirrels, lizards, butterflies and birds. We also walk our dogs at least once a day for a couple of miles. I check the yard daily for "remnants" that need to be discarded and/or any trash and potential debris (dead birds and animals) that may present a risk to pets.

I send updates and photos every visit and look forward to meeting your furry friend! I have a flexible schedule and am home most days, so your pet won’t be left alone for long. I occasionally have music gigs or yacht maintenance work, but right now I’m available most days and can provide walks, potty breaks, and playtime around your pet’s routine. I host one dog at a time in my home, providing plenty of attention, potty breaks every 2–4 hours, walks, playtime, and lots of love. About: My experience caring for animals began over 15 years ago when I worked as a support staff member and cleaner at a pet lodge in Tacoma, Washington. That early experience gave me a strong foundation in animal care, cleanliness, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for pets. 🐾 More recently, over the past few years, I have been regularly walking and dog sitting my elderly uncle’s small dog, Desoto, in his home while assisting my uncle during ongoing medical challenges. This experience has strengthened my reliability, patience, and ability to provide attentive, loving care tailored to a pet’s routine and needs. 🐶 I’m also a proud cat owner. A few years ago, my wife found a stray cat in the alley, and we welcomed her into our home. Kumbaya has since become a very spoiled and well-loved indoor cat, and caring for her has added to my hands-on experience with feline companionship and daily pet care. 🐈⬛ I understand that pets are family, and I strive to provide dependable, compassionate care so pet owners can feel confident their animals are in good hands. ‼️ New Client Special: Affordable introductory rates available for a limited time! I am currently taking care of my elderly uncle in the mornings. I am available after 10/11am until evening Monday - Saturday. My schedule is flexible, please just let me know! I have a cat at home so I have experience feeding and playing with cats. I also watch my uncle’s dog at his house so I have experience pet sitting at other’s houses. My uncle’s dog recently had surgery to remove his eye and I have been taking care of him as well.
Belmont Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley is the best dog sitter! She watched over my 5 month old puppy & was so kind. I was very nervous leaving him but her kindness reassured me. She sent me many photos & videos to keep me updated which I loved. She was so sweet with him & it really cleared all anxieties. Book her you won’t regret it!!!

Stephanie is so warm and kind. She sends me photos of my cat children and leaves me with updates on their behavior. I really appreciate her taking the time to come in and pet sit for me on such short notice. She has such a bubbly personality and will be the best pet sitter for your babies! Highly recommend her 10/10!!

Ali was a fantastic pet sitter! She was incredibly reliable, communicated promptly, and showed genuine care and attentiveness to the fur babies. It was clear that our cats felt comfortable and well looked after. She was understanding of each pet’s unique needs. I looked forward to her thoughtful and funny updates. I highly recommend Ali to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter.
So glad we found Lisa! Bosco & Chai took right to her during our meet-and-greet. It is clear that Lisa loves animals, and has an easy-going energy that animals love right back. When I come home after a Lisa visit, the pups are happy and well cared-for. Thank you, Lisa!

I am so grateful for Kate!! I have never used Rover but needed help. I have a trio. My oldest is reactive and I thought the trios routine was too complicated for someone to deal with. I thought for sure I’d scare Kate away when I gave the instructions. Kate did a home visit for us and arrived on time, provided detailed summary of the hang and sent me pics of the trip. I will absolutely be rebooking.

Clementine was amazing with our cats!!! Honey loved her and Kippy eventually trusted her enough to eat his wet food. She was even mindful of toys left out by others and she made sure there were no unfortunate accidents. We highly recommend her! She truly cares about your pets.
