“Shelli is a delight. Captain is not easy to please. He took to Shelli right away. She is patient with him, and he feels comfortable with her. We don’t ever leave him with anyone other than family. 15. Bella C.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life, growing up with three beloved dogs: Miley, a 120-pound Labrador; Scruffy, a rescued terrier mix; and Teddy, a feisty Shih Tzu. While they’ve since passed, my passion for animals continues. I regularly volunteer at shelters and have experience caring for family pets while their owners are away. As a full-time college student with a flexible schedule and ample free time, I can accommodate nearly any pet care needs. My dedication, reliability, and genuine love for animals set me apart from other sitters. As a full-time local college student, I usually have just one class a day, leaving me plenty of time for pet care. I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs, whether that means early mornings or late nights. Plus, I’m currently on winter break until February, giving me a completely open and flexible schedule to provide your pets with dedicated care during this time! When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow all provided instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and medication needs if needed. I keep the environment clean, secure, and free from hazards to ensure your pet feels safe and at ease. I also prioritize building trust with pets by being patient, gentle, and attentive, helping them feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings. Regular updates with photos and messages let you know your furry friend is well cared for while you’re away!

16. Lillian H.
About: I have been taking care of all kinds of pets for a while, my friends family goes away a lot so I take care of their 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bunny, and 1 fish while they are away for however long it may be. I am reliable and very empathetic towards animals because they can't express what they want in words so I have to pick up those communications through their actions. I am currently a freshman at Cal State Long Beach so I have classes monday-friday but my schedule is open because of that. I always either have mornings or evenings without classes everyday so I will have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I care for pets in their own home by continuing their daily routine. Going out of their routine may make them stressed and that is not what I want. I want the pets to feel like I am just another friend not an enemy.

17. Katelyn C.
“Katelyn is an amazing dog sitter! First of all, she is super kind and always listens to all of my concerns regarding my dog. My dog absolutely loves her and gets so excited whenever he sees her. Katelyn sends me photos and updates of their playtime, which really puts me at ease. I know my fur baby is in good hands with her. Highly recommend!”

20. Julie & Nathan T.
About: We've been dog owners since we were 18 years old, always having dogs in our family. Many experiences looking after family, friends and neighbors pets, we have always been a go to couple to help out when needed. We have two daughters at college that are in and out and love on pets also. Currently we are both home all day, with general errands the only reason we'd both be out. Normally we have at least one of us at home, and even then if out together would only be minimal time. We have an older small Chocolate Lab ourselves, who comes in and out of the house as she pleases! Our yard is fenced, safe and escape free! A quiet gated neighborhood that we walk our dog in daily.
