“Joshua and Jennifer were absolutely amazing. I felt so comfortable leaving my two pug babies with them for the weekend knowing they were in such good hands. They had so much fun and were even spoiled with Halloween doggy treats, even came home with little goodies! Jennifer was wonderful with communicating with me the whole time as well which was huge for me. Thanks you guys! Will be taking them here again :)”

“Jeimy is wonderful she did great with Jack our 4month old puppy, he was rambunctious and she did awesome giving him extra attention and care. We appreciated her detailed updates and beautiful pictures it felt great knowing Jack was safe and happy in our absence. We defined would and (definitely will) use her services again.”

“This was our families first time leaving our Monroe and so my nerves were shook. Laura was supremely communicative from the introduction process through pick up. She provided delightful updates on our pup, provided her with enrichment activities, free space to run around her home, and knowledgeable insights into her personality. We came back to a happy, healthy, loved pup. Thank you Laura! You reassured us and won us over that you’re the best match for Monroe and our family. I hope you’ll be available for future rebooking.”

“Marby treated our Schnauzer puppy like her own! He received lots of love & lots of walks. Marby sent us daily texts & photos of Rockie’s activities. My pup loved his “vacation” with Marby. I would definitely have her keep Rockie again. I’d give her 10 stars if I could and so would Rockie!”

“I have nothing but great things to say about Emily — both as a person and as a sitter. She’s such a kind and pure soul, and that kindness extends to the animals she’s trusted to care for. I needed a last-minute sitter for my dog after my original booking canceled just two days before my flight. Not only did Emily accept right away, but from our very first conversations, I could tell she was the perfect person to care for my girl. She asked thoughtful, detailed questions about my dog — everything from her allergies to her fears — because she truly wants to understand the animals she looks after. Emily fully embodies the mindset that "dogs are family, not just pets." She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with my dog, who has a history of severe abuse and was turned away by multiple families before we adopted her. As a result, our dog is extremely fearful of people and has never let strangers pet her. Emily completely understood her trauma, gave her space, and still cared for her with such gentle presence. On the first day, my dog was terrified — she thought I was abandoning her. Emily came up with the amazing idea for me to leave something I had worn, so my scent would comfort her and it helped so much. I wouldn’t have thought of it myself, if she didn’t mention it. Over the four days I was away, Emily not only won her over by day two, but by the end of the trip, my dog — Tigris — had made huge progress. I took her to the dog park immediately after picking her up, and for the first time, she approached people, nuzzled them, and even let some women pet her! (And who knows — maybe with time and continued work, she’ll open up to men too.) I don’t know what it is, but Emily must be an animal whisperer or something — we were honestly amazed and moved by the change in Tigris’ behavior. Throughout the stay, Emily sent regular updates with pictures and videos, which helped so much when I was missing her. She asked before giving any treats outside of what I’d packed and kept me in the loop about anything that came up — including a stress accident where Tigris peed on the couch. Most people would be upset, but Emily was nothing but kind and understanding, just wanting to let me know so I wouldn’t worry. And Tigris having wet stools, that she remedied it by boiling potatoes to add to her kibble. She kept to Tigris’ feeding schedule, took her on walks every 2–4 hours, and even brought her to the park. On top of that, Emily left a beautiful handmade charm with Tigris’ name on it — such a thoughtful touch and a sweet keepsake from this trip. Thank you so, so much, Emily. This entire experience wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without you. I’m beyond glad we chose you. You’re so personable and truly one of the most empathetic people we could have asked for, for Tigris. She is the perfect match for our baby (or any fur baby, really). I had never left Tigris with anyone before, but now I know she’ll be staying with you every time we need a sitter.”

About: I love dogs and how important they are to their family. I've been around dogs throughout my whole life and have watched all kinds of dogs varying in size and age, and will take care of your dog with the love and attention they deserve. Available to give them an uptempo stay including dog parks and running, or a more relaxed backyard hang if they're more of a homebody. I have a flexible work-from-home situation and work on-call in the evenings so I tend to have a lot of time in the weekdays. I can usually accommodate last-minute care if my availability is free. I'll treat your dog like my own, and give them all of the love and attention they want. We have a 12-year-old dog (mixed-breed, medium size) who loves company and will welcome your dog with open paws. I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time, and willing to get your dog plenty of exercise if they're more active, or taking it a little easier if they aren't as energetic.
“Nick and Cora were great with our chow chow. They took him for many walks and kept him company. They were great for me too, sending many pictures and texts to let me know how he was doing. Six stars!”

“Thank you Tatiana and family for taking care of Cindy while we were out on a 5 day Cruise. You are amazing and i felt comfortable and at ease leaving our pet with you. Tatiana is a great sitter. She will treat your pet like her own family.”

“Christa was awesome! My dog Toby is pretty finicky, but she went above and beyond, going to the grocery store to get him cheese and other special treats and making sure he felt comfortable. He also gets itchy skin especially when he is nervous so she got him coconut oil to rub on his fur. She also took him on so many fun beach adventures and concerts in the park which I really appreciated. I was really happy with Christa! Would trust her again to take care of my Toby!”

“Paige accommodated me at the last minute to watch Skye. She sent pictures, washed his doggie bowls, and took great care of my fur baby. I would highly recommend.”

Los Cerritos Area dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marby was so amazing with my elderly dog, Knox. She kept me constantly updated and lessened my worries for my old pup. Marby is also super patient and helpful with any concerns or issues I was having while away. I forgot to pack so many things and luckily Marby was able to help me out. I definitely hope she is available for whenever I need to leave Knox!

Jeimy was amazing with our two dogs. She treated them with lots of love and care, as if they were her own. Even with our dog with special needs and hyper fur baby, she was patient and knew exactly how to handle their needs. Communication was great, she provided daily updates with photos while we were on vacation in a different time zone. She was so accommodating and made sure the dogs had everything. I would highly recommend her and book her again!

Kimberly took such amazing care of our senior miniature schnauzer while we went on a long weekend vacation. She invited us for a meet and greet so we could make sure our dogs got along, and she sent so many awesome videos and pictures while we were away. She really took care of our dog as though he were her own. We would 100% use Kimberly again in the future ❤️❤️
I couldn’t have asked for a better duo to watch my corgi than Lisa and Felipe! I needed to find a sitter out of state when I was traveling from Texas to LA, and from the start they were so responsive and incredibly accommodating. My corgi, Oscar, is a bit nervous meeting new people, but Lisa and Felipe gave him time to come around (and he settled in fast!). We received updates and photos every day, and Oscar was so relaxed and happy during his stay - he was having a wonderful time! I would wholeheartedly recommend Lisa and Felipe; they are awesome!
