About: I started caring for pets through Rover in 2018 because I’ve always felt a natural connection with animals. Spending time with pets brings me a sense of happiness and calm, and I love being able to provide them with companionship, attention, and care. I’m someone who enjoys quiet time, being outdoors, and going on walks, which makes caring for dogs such a great fit for my lifestyle. I took some time away from Rover while focusing on a new career opportunity, but now that I’m more settled, I’m excited to return and continue doing something I truly enjoy. While I’m not currently able to have a pet of my own, I love the opportunity to care for and spend time with pets through Rover. It allows me to give each pet my full attention while providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel happy, relaxed, and cared for while their family is away. I work from home most days, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision for your pet and be able to keep up with their needs and routines. I care for every pet as if they were my own, providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. My condo is clean and comfortable, with nearby parks and walking areas for dogs to enjoy. For in-home visits, I follow your pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

My schedule is pretty flexible, so pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and medication visits throughout the week. I’m active and love being outside, so longer walks are always welcome too. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I pay close attention to routines, body language, medications, feeding instructions, and the little things that help pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m respectful of your home, careful with doors and gates, and happy to send plenty of updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your baby is doing.

About: I have been sitting and caring for dogs for ~12 years; dogs of all sizes, temperaments and needs. My partner and I fostered dogs for 2 years, some of which were high medical needs, mother dogs and young puppies, etc. I am super comfortable with any age and temperament. I am currently working super part-time, so I have a wide open schedule at the moment :) Happy to walk them on a consistent or one-off schedule, do drop ins, or watch them longer term at your place. I currently am not able to keep any pups at my place, but I am totally happy to come to yours and run any protocol you typically do with your pups. Crating, treats, brushing, etc.

About: I’m very patient with pets, as i believe that they need special care with their daily living. I am someone who can make them feel loved and safe. I, myself have a miniature pinscher that can be handful at times but I very much love being with him. Dogs have this little world that makes me feel happy and peaceful, taking care of them is something i enjoy. I work full time in the day, but i still manage to walk my dog in the morning and the afternoon. Just like my dog, I am happy to welcome yours too and i will very much enjoy their company. About: Hi my name is Sam! I’m a student who wants to dog sit on the side of working! I have a deep love for pets that goes back for as long as I can remember so something like this just makes sense to me. I’ve had the chance to meet and own many pets in my day and have lots of knowledge on them. My mom calls me Dr Dolittle because even when I was really young I’ve always loved dogs. I for one know how pets mean family and can give love, attention, and care while you cannot. I am new to this but would love the experience and growing a connection! My schedule is free I’m available weekends weekdays and holidays! I would prefer to stick to sittings and boardings and would like to focus on one sitting at a time so I can properly give 100% attention and care. There will always be a set of eyes on your pup. I provide walks cuddles and play! I can deal with energetic and laid back pets.

About: I have experience with caring for cats, dogs, and bearded dragons. I'm comfortable with watching all types of animals and any type of instructions. Your animal is also your child and i will treat them as such, just as if they were mine. I currently work part time, I'd fit pet sitting/walking in when I can. Any questions on my availability can be answered through messages. I live in a gated apartment and have the only patio in the building where my kitty gets to sun-gaze and lay. Kuroko is a inside cat who occasionally goes outside but blue eyed cats have sensitivity to the sun, so I try to keep him indoors. I feed him wet food at 10am with salmon oil, and wet mixed with dry food for dinner at 8pm with quail egg. He's on a wet diet but sometimes kibble for his teeth cleaning. I clean his litter and play with him sometimes, he usually like to sleep. :)

Hi, I'm Jacob! I'm 32 and recently moved to Long Beach with my wife from NYC. I bring a friendly and fun energy that most dogs are naturally drawn to. My experience includes caring for both dogs and cats between 4 months-17 years old. I am an ideal sitter for high-energy dogs who need tons of attention, long and/or frequent walks, and extra play time while their owners are away. Skilled at senior dog care, including those with complex medical needs (including injectable medication) and frequent vet visits. I also provide bathing and basic grooming for longer stays at negotiable rates. LONG-TERM PET SITTING: I am a high-energy, hands-on sitter and will give your pets lots of love and attention. If I must leave your home for any reason, I always return within two hours. I keep emergency vet services and poison control information handy—though fortunately I've never needed to use either. I keep dogs on-leash outside of the house at all times. I closely follow house rules and strive to leave spaces in the same condition I found them or better. DOGWALKING & FEEDING: Daily walks for up to three (3) dogs at a standard hourly rate, up to 3x per day. Walks are 1 hour unless specified by the owner. I will refill your dog's food, water and medication if your dog needs it at that time. DOG BOARDING: If you prefer to board your dog, let's discuss long-term boarding options at my home. I live in an apartment complex with my wife, who also loves dogs. She works in-office 5 days/week and will not be involved in pet care. I have access to common yard space and live in a safe neighborhood that's ideal for daily walks. My wife is allergen sensitive, so dogs with excessive shedding or dander will not be a good fit. Rates may vary depending on your pets' specific needs. I live a short walk from the beach and will happily take your dog on a sandy adventure—no swimming allowed. I am currently available weekdays from Monday-Friday. I work part-time at a restaurant on Saturday and Sunday evenings, though my exact schedule varies and is subject to change. My work shifts are rarely longer than 8 hours. Dogs are kept on leash at all times while outside the house. I keep emergency vet services and poison control information handy, though I've fortunately never had to use either.

About: I’m 31 years old and I’ve owned pets for almost my whole lifetime! From aquatic animals, cats, dogs etc. I’m an animal lover! I believe there are no “aggressive breeds” I used to have a blue nose pitbull and he was the sweetest thing in the entire world! Loves both people and dogs! I love to take dogs on walks, to dog parks or just chill at home watching movies and snackin on food. I’m reliable and I make sure your pup has a good time! For dog boarding: Earliest Drop off/pick up 9:00 AM Latest Drop off/Pick up 9:00 PM Any requests outside those hours will be extra I work from home which gives me the flexibility and availability to take care of my own pets and others. I have time to take them out regularly and give them all the attention they need. There are tons of room for your pet to have fun! I work from home so I have the freedom to watch them closely (:
