About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and Since I was 15 I would dog sit friends and families pets when they wanted to travel or had to work. Some pets I had to also give medication to them. My schedule can vary so I may be able to get you scheduled in so I can take care of your puppy dogs. Would like an extra income please message me see if our schedules work out.. I live in a house with a fence all around and gate in the front so your puppy will have plenty of space to run around my house or go outside for a potty break or get to run around the yard.. Whilst working amongst Dogs and Cats at Adopt and Shop in Culver City, not only gave me the proper knowledge of caring for these animals but understanding. Patience which is required when taking care of any animals. Though they are unable to speak, as we do onto each other - it is important to remember their importance within this world. An important pillar for me when caring for all animals, is having Respect. Patience. Understanding and Knowledge ( facts not fiction ). Knowledge is key. When having a job, I like to prioritize the care of the animal. Though if a circumstance does come up, where I am unable to do so and so. Contacting the animals parents is number one , in advance of course. My schedule: Monday through Friday Times: Based off the client and her/his schedule. As previously stated, one of my pillars, knowledge, is having the knowledge of the best safety protocols. Both in Health and Safety - remembering to always keep on eye on the animal. Stopping something from happening before actually occurring. Also keeping myself in check as I move throughout the day. - Giving them more than enough playtime - Feeding them on a scheduled manner, with the appropriate amount of food. Having a clear understanding of what to put in the food and what to NOT put in the food. - Putting all poisonous food packed away in a cupboard where the animal will be unable to get to. - Be actively aware of the animal when outside. Be watchful of the mouth, body language and temperament. - Knowing when to remove the animal from an dangerous, inappropriate, hazardous and uncomfortable environment. - Understanding signs of discomfort, aggression or anxiety. - Being mature about the situation.

“Laura and her husband truly go above and beyond when caring for our dog. This was our dog’s second time staying with Laura and it was over the holiday weekend. Laura eased my worries I had about the neighborhood fireworks that could possibly stress out my dog and she assured me that there would be classical music played for my dog to create a more comfortable environment. Laura always sends daily updates and pictures which I really appreciate. I always know my fur baby is receiving the upmost care and love. “Christa was awesome! My dog Toby is pretty finicky, but she went above and beyond, going to the grocery store to get him cheese and other special treats and making sure he felt comfortable. He also gets itchy skin especially when he is nervous so she got him coconut oil to rub on his fur. She also took him on so many fun beach adventures and concerts in the park which I really appreciated. I was really happy with Christa! Would trust her again to take care of my Toby!”
“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Nibbles! She watched her for 9 days in her home, and I’m so happy we found her. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. “Irene was great with our pups! We would love for her to sit for them in the future. She shared updates while we were on our trip. She reviewed the care document, and knew how to set up their crates and put their complicated harnesses on. Our pups are high energy breeds and but they came home relaxed and content. When we went to pick them up Bone Thug ran back to give Irene a little pup love before leaving. That was the biggest sign of care and happiness to me.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and other pets for many years for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and checking in on pets while their owners are away. I treat every pet with patience, love, and attention and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my care. I’m currently a stay at home mom and I spend plenty of time at home. Therefore, my availability for boarding your pet is flexible. I have a fenced yard and I can easily crate your dog if needed. I will supervise your pets and will follow the owner’s instructions.
