About: I love dogs, cats, and everything in between! I’ve taken care of my brothers puppy for 5 months, my own dog for about 5.5 years, my grandmas and my aunts dogs for a few years, both of whom live farther away, and have given walks, baths, and naps to all of them. I am currently down from my studies at UC Berkeley back in my hometown of long beach, and am currently on break from my job up there so this is my main priority aside from mental health, but dogs solve that! My home is fenced in and in a nice neighborhood, I care for dogs with kibble-based meals, raw food meals, and everything in between, I have a large bathtub for any dogs, and will do whatever the owner would like at their home as well. I am a naturally clean person and will keep a client’s home very clean as well.

“I can't say enough good things about Cassandra! She did an absolutely fantastic job looking after my three cats, each with their own quirks and health issues. I have a 19-year-old with three medications to take twice a day, and I honestly never had to worry once — she handled everything perfectly. One of my cats had a couple of accidents and pooped on the bed multiple times due to medical issues, but she took it all in stride and kept me updated on every little thing, even the less-than-glamorous moments. I really appreciated the daily photos of each cat — it was so reassuring to see how they were doing, especially since the 19 - year old is quite fragile and one of the others is particularly skittish and usually runs from most sitters. Not only did Cassandra gain her trust, but by the second or third visit, the cat was letting her pet her! That’s pretty much a miracle in itself. I felt totally at ease the whole time I was away. Cassandra is professional, reliable, and truly caring — and it was clear that my cats were comfortable with her. Highly recommend!”

I’ve raised my own dog, Bailey, since he was a puppy and until he was 12. I’ve given him baths, walks, and lots of attention and love. I’ve also dog sat for people before and have been in charge of taking dogs for walks and making sure they are happy and comfortable. I also have experience taking care of puppies as young as 2 years old. I am pretty free most days. This allows me to have plenty of time to devote to any dog care taking duties that come my way. I love getting outside and will happily take a dog on neighborhood walks with lots of shade. I love playing with dogs while keeping relaxation and rest time in mind.

About: My family had a dog that we got when I was 7 that just recently passed. Plus, most members of my family have dogs, so I’ve become very good at handling them, their behavior, and needs. I’ve been asked to dog sit for friends and family alike and have had only good experiences, and I’d love to get to spend time with pups and help people out whilst they go away by giving them someone to trust with their dog! And breeds don’t scare me, I love pit bulls and others of the like! They’ve also been part of my life and something I’ve learned to cherish and respect! This would be a part-time job for the summer, so I’d have plenty of time to be with your animal! I’m available weekdays Mon-Friday! There may be a week here and there that I’m out of town, but I’d love to make pets my priority this summer! I’m obviously super respectful of people’s space and whatnot, I’d never touch or wander in your home. I won’t be able to pet sit in my home because I have 2 cats of my own and they wouldn’t do well with other animals, but as for other people’s homes I will do anything you need me too.
