About: Growing up, we always had dogs around (German shepherds, border collie, pit bull). When I moved away, I missed having my furry best friends around. I adopted my pup Professor Wellington from a shelter in LA when he was around 6-8 months old. He was the first little dog I ever had which seemed easier living in apartments in LA & NYC and traveling. We had almost 13 years together before he recently passed away, and now I have an even bigger soft spot for older dogs that need some extra TLC. I have a regular 8-5 type job during the week, and I have the most flexibility in my day on Friday afternoon/evenings and the weekends. Having a pup that was an escape artist in the beginning, I’m very aware of checking for possible escape routes. I’m also used to watching for signs of anxiety and fear with the environment and other people/dogs. Every dog is different, but I want them to feel as comfortable, happy & safe as possible. About: Ive handled the care of both dogs and cats since I have had to take responsibility of both dogs and cats since I was little, in the process I learned to handle their medications, taking them out on walks, and being patient with their differing personalities. I have experienced staying at a neighbors house to pet sit a week at a time. I can administer medication any time of the day for multiple clients. I am unable to care for pets in my own home, but I can in other clients homes. Unless the pet is registered to my residence I can not take care of pets in my own home.

We can highly recommend Sam. We booked months ahead and he came promptly to meet our dogs and to understand what was expected of him. The week before he was to sit, he visited with the dogs, again. One of our dogs has medical needs that require multiple meds and supplements. Sam gave her what she needed, on schedule. He took the dogs on good walks, avoiding the hottest part of the day. For a week, he stayed overnight with them. (Our home was left neat and clean by Sam.) Our dogs were clearly well-taken care of. He sent us photos and videos of their daily activities.
