About: Lifelong Animal Lover & Experienced Caregiver. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, raising everything from birds and turtles to cats and dogs. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to two gorgeous cats (ages 8 and 4) who mean the world to me. For the past several years, I have channeled my passion into professional pet sitting, hands-on shelter volunteering, and fostering—including raising a lively 4-month-old Doberman puppy. I have a massive heart for all animals and promise to treat your pets with the exact same deep love, safety, and dedicated care that I give my own. How Pet Care Fits Into My Routine Right now, I have the luxury of a completely open schedule! Since I’m currently between jobs, my days revolve entirely around pet care. Whether your cat or dog needs a mid-day play session, early morning feedings, or late-night cuddles, I can easily fit into their established routine. This flexibility also means I’m highly responsive and available for short-notice requests or extended daytime stays. Safety & Peace of Mind Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. Thanks to my background volunteering in animal shelters and fostering, I am highly attuned to animal behavior and body language. I know how to spot stress early and ensure a calm, secure environment. My own home is entirely cat-proofed, smoke-free, and tailored to the comfort of my two resident cats. Whether in your home or mine, I am meticulous about keeping doors secure, maintaining strict hygiene (especially with litter boxes), and following your exact safety instructions. You will receive detailed updates and photos after every visit so you never have to worry.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Labrador from the time I was born until I was around 10 years old, and since then I have had two other dogs, including a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and a Border Collie mix. Because of this, I have experience with different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, from large dogs that need strong handling to active dogs that need plenty of attention and playtime. I have also dog sat for family and friends before, so I understand how important it is to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I will always check in frequently with updates, make sure your dog is fed on schedule, take time to play with them, and give them the attention they need. My schedule is very flexible. I am home for the summer from UCSD and currently shadowing a doctor, but I am able to work my schedule around what is best for dog or cat sitting. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can usually make most times work. I will always communicate clearly if I have something planned on a certain day, and I will make sure we figure out a schedule that works best for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I will make sure they are cared for, supervised, and given plenty of attention while you are away. I am comfortable playing with pets, throwing tennis balls or toys, taking dogs on walks, letting them outside, and watching them closely while they are out. I will always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, walks, playtime, and any specific needs your pet may have. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal schedule, so I will make sure they are fed on time and cared for in a safe, responsible, and loving environment.

I’m responsible, respectful, and very attentive to each pet’s routine and personality. I know trusting someone with your pet — and sometimes your home — is a big deal, so I always make communication and reliability a priority. I’m happy to send plenty of updates and photos, follow any instructions you leave, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether they love walks, playtime, or just hanging out, I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m a college student with a pretty flexible schedule, and I have my own car, so getting back and forth for pet care is never an issue. I’m always willing to make the trip to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, feeding, and care they need. I also work part-time, but my shifts are typically only 3–4 hours, so I’m never away for long periods of time. I’m great at planning around my classes and work schedule and making pet care a priority! Safety, Trust & Environment I always try to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely, and I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection based on their personality! When I’m in a client’s home, I’m also very respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I’ll always communicate clearly, send updates and photos, and make sure you feel confident that both your pet and your home are being well taken care of!

About: I grew up with a mini dachshund and currently have a pug. I pet sit all the time for friends and family, including my sister who has a dog, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, fish, and the list keeps going. I've pet sat both at my apartment and house sat in a pet's home. At my apartment, I've dog sat for up to a month! My little pug loves having a new buddy around to play, go on walks, and snuggle with. My pug is my life. I work from home and she's always by my side, following me everywhere. Every morning we go for a walk around the Naples canals in Long Beach after she has her breakfast. During the day, she mostly snuggles on my lap or entertains herself if we don't have another buddy visiting us. We take breaks to get fresh air and take potty breaks at the beach. In the afternoon, we'll usually go on a shorter walk before or after dinner. I try to take her with me anywhere I go, even if it's just a short errand where she can enjoy a car ride. On the occasions I can't take her with me, she has full reign of the apartment, but I think she spends most of her time snuggled on the couch with soft blankets and pillow. When I need to be away from her for longer than usual, I usually coordinate to have her visit one of her nearby buddies or stay with my mom & sister where she gets to play with little my niece and nephew, their dog, and enjoy being around lots of other free roaming animals (chickens, bunnies, cats) If I'm at a client's home, I ensure I'm informed about all the places the pet(s) like to go, where their favorite toys are, and where their food & medicine is. If I'm pet sitting for an extended period of time, or more than just a daily check-in, my pug will be with me. She loves being around big dogs or small dogs, is very submissive, loves to play, but is also ok giving space if the other pet is not interested. If a backyard is available, I love to be outdoors and get the dogs some exercise by playing ball or tag. If an enclosed area isn't available, your dog will always be leashed. On walks, I'm conscientious about our surroundings. I pay attention to any rogue "snacks" in our path and other dogs approaching. I always ask another dog owner if their dog is friendly and if mine can say hi. If they're not, it's no problem! We'll continue on and cross the street if need be. My walks with my pug tend to be longer in time and fairly slow moving, making lots of stops to sniff. Sniffing is an important activity for any dog, and expends a lot of energy, so I stop as long as my dog wants to sniff at certain spot so she can get her fill. I'll treat your dog with the same respect and care as I provide my own.

About: Animal lover for life! Growing up with cats and dogs gave me an early foundation in animal care and communication (the non-psychic kind 😄). For the past three years, I've volunteered with Guide Dogs of America, socializing and training puppies from 4 to 8 weeks old. This work has deepened my understanding of dog behavior, development, and trust-building from the very earliest stages of life. Cats hold a special place in my heart too. Years of living with them taught me how to read feline body language, respect their independence, and create a calm space where they can be comfortable. I come to your home, keeping your pet in their own familiar environment so they stay relaxed, comfortable, and stress-free while you're away. As a yoga and piano teacher, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I have two dedicated teaching days where my availability is limited, but the rest of the week I have generous windows of free time- perfect for popping in, spending quality time with your pet, and making sure they feel loved. Since I provide in-home sitting, your pet stays in their own familiar environment the entire time. About: I grew up in a house where there always seemed to be animals in every corner, so it's probably no surprise that I ended up making a career out of caring for them. For the last 15 years, I've worked with hundreds of animal rescues and supervised veterinary teams to care for animals of all kinds. I've learned everything from reading behaviors to administering meds and cleaning wounds...but just as importantly, I've learned how to make animal's feel safe and loved. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I've fostered dozens and have three of my own (all with different energy levels, high and low) so trust that I know how important it is to find someone who will love them like family. In a way I'd want for my own pets. I'm also currently expecting my first baby (yay!), so I'm taking a step back from my regular career for a while. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I'm currently taking a step back from my full-time career to enjoy my first pregnancy (I'm still quite early), so I have a very flexible schedule and am around most days :) I always try to keep routines as normal as possible while you're away. I'll send plenty of updates (I usually have my camera with me, so expect lots of photos!) and make sure they get all the love, exercise, and attention they're used to. I'm comfortable administering meds, performing injections, wound care, nail trims, and anal gland expressions. One of my dogs is a GSP, so high-energy dogs are right up my alley, and I'm always happy to keep up with walks, adventures, or training. Honestly, I'm here to care for your pet in whatever way makes you feel most comfy, even if that just means sitting on the couch while we watch some old movies. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, or take care of the little things around your home while you're away. My goal is that you come home to a happy pet and a house that's exactly how you left it.

About: I’ve spent much of my adult life in roles where people trusted me with things that mattered to them like their homes, businesses, teams and even careers. I spent my undergraduate years as an Assistant Property Manager before becoming an LAX operations leader and former full-time recruiter, and I bring that same sense of responsibility to more than 10 years of caring for pets. I have especially good experience with senior animals: more than half of the dogs and cats I’ve cared for have been seniors. I love their personalities and am comfortable adjusting to slower walks, medication schedules, established routines and the little preferences that become especially important as pets get older. Even re-potty training them! At the other end of the spectrum, I’m an active person and outrigger paddler, so energetic dogs are very welcome too. Long walks, play and outdoor time fit my lifestyle after having been in grad school in upstate New York. My approach is individualized. My experience has taught me how much better the outcome is when you listen first, ask good questions and understand what constitutes a good fit. Pets aren’t any different. I want to learn their personality and normal routine so I can meet them where they are. My goal is for you to come home thinking, "My pets and home are happy, healthy, safe and ready for me to come back without skipping a beat." My schedule is flexible, and I plan my day around each pet’s routine. I often work from my computer remotely during the day and have broad availability for walks, drop-ins and house sitting. I do have activities outside the home, including early-morning outrigger paddling, but I make sure feeding, potty breaks, medication and other important routines are taken care of first. For house sitting, I’m generally a good fit for pets who are comfortable alone for 4–6 hours at a time, or longer when that is already part of their normal routine. I’m happy to talk through your pet’s schedule before booking and adjust where I reasonably can. I like to begin with a meet-and-greet so I can understand your pet’s normal behavior, routine, medications, household setup and emergency plan before care begins. I review instructions carefully and ask questions upfront that may include how you want me to communicate if something unexpected happens. I pay attention to changes that can be easy to miss, from unusual itching or appetite changes to changes in energy, bathroom habits or behavior, and I’ll let you know when something seems out of the ordinary. I’m equally conscientious with the home itself. I’m a “leave it better than you found it” person. I keep the spaces I use tidy, handle mail and packages according to your preferences, take out trash, water plants and care for linens when appropriate. If you already have cleaners, gardeners or other small business service providers, I’m happy to work around the systems you already have.

About: I have experience with many types of animals in the past few years. From large dogs such as huskies, golden retrievers to bulldogs. To smaller dogs such as Shih Tzu, Frenchies and even new born puppies! I also have experience with bird care and rodents. A love for animals means to give them the best quality care. I am currently working part time with mid day-closing shifts. I tend to have 2-3 days off a weeks, which allows me to be able to have dedicated time to take care of people’s furry babies. I am very aware of my surroundings so when it comes to client homes. I’ll keep a good eye on not just the pet, but the care for the home. Any loose toys, objects or cables will be protected and remain out of sight of the pet for their safety. I’ll take care and make sure your pet has the fun they need, while maintaining a tidy home.

About: Hi I'm Lucy! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with two Lab/Shepard mixes my whole life and 7 years of experience of dog care! I'm a huge dog lover, and this past year my husband and I adopted a German Shepard/Great Pyrenes/Aussie named Bodhi from the animal shelter - and he's my best friend! I have experience training dogs of different breeds and can read dog body language very well. With my dog, I have done extensive training including potty training, basic commands, recall, E-collar training, and more! When taking care of your pup, I treat them as my own and make sure I tailor my services to what works best for them. As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important your guidelines and expectations are for your pup, and their safety and happiness are my top priority. I understand how hard it can be to work full time while having your furry bff at home. When I'm caring for your pups, I make sure they will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. As a dog owner of a very active breed, I know how important it is to burn their energy and stimulate their brain! I will never push your pup to the edge of their comfort zone - and know the body language they portray when they are uncomfortable.
