About: Lifelong Animal Lover & Experienced Caregiver. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, raising everything from birds and turtles to cats and dogs. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to two gorgeous cats (ages 8 and 4) who mean the world to me. For the past several years, I have channeled my passion into professional pet sitting, hands-on shelter volunteering, and fostering—including raising a lively 4-month-old Doberman puppy. How Pet Care Fits Into My Routine Right now, I have the luxury of a completely open schedule! Since I’m currently between jobs, my days revolve entirely around pet care. Whether your cat or dog needs a mid-day play session, early morning feedings, or late-night cuddles, I can easily fit into their established routine. This flexibility also means I’m highly responsive and available for short-notice requests or extended daytime stays. Safety & Peace of Mind Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. Thanks to my background volunteering in animal shelters and fostering, I am highly attuned to animal behavior and body language. I know how to spot stress early and ensure a calm, secure environment. My own home is entirely cat-proofed, smoke-free, and tailored to the comfort of my two resident cats. Whether in your home or mine, I am meticulous about keeping doors secure, maintaining strict hygiene (especially with litter boxes), and following your exact safety instructions. You will receive detailed updates and photos after every visit so you never have to worry.

I’ve raised and trained my current dog (Bruce Wayne) from a puppy and cared for my previous dog (Stella Rose) through all stages of life. Stella died from pancriatic cancer, giving me experience with senior care as well. I’ve worked with shy, agressive & what many would consider to be straight up evil (my grandmothers bird) animals, earning their trust over time. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Sometimes pets can have a difficult time eating because of how much they miss their owners. Depending on the day I’m typically available in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I make sure to schedule my time so pets receive all the attention, walks, and care that they need. I’m dependable and communicate clearly if anything in my schedule changes. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Labrador from the time I was born until I was around 10 years old, and since then I have had two other dogs, including a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and a Border Collie mix. Because of this, I have experience with different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, from large dogs that need strong handling to active dogs that need plenty of attention and playtime. I have also dog sat for family and friends before, so I understand how important it is to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I will always check in frequently with updates, make sure your dog is fed on schedule, take time to play with them, and give them the attention they need. My schedule is very flexible. I am home for the summer from UCSD and currently shadowing a doctor, but I am able to work my schedule around what is best for dog or cat sitting. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can usually make most times work. I will always communicate clearly if I have something planned on a certain day, and I will make sure we figure out a schedule that works best for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I will make sure they are cared for, supervised, and given plenty of attention while you are away. I am comfortable playing with pets, throwing tennis balls or toys, taking dogs on walks, letting them outside, and watching them closely while they are out. I will always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, walks, playtime, and any specific needs your pet may have. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal schedule, so I will make sure they are fed on time and cared for in a safe, responsible, and loving environment.

In a client’s home, I respect their space and care for pets just like I would in my own, keeping up with their schedule and making sure they get attention, exercise, and comfort. No matter where I’m caring for them, I treat pets like a part of my family. I also offer a free bath for your fur-baby with any week long service unless you would rather skip it-your pet’s comfort always comes first.

About: I've had pets all my life and I currently have 4 of my own. I am someone that can be trusted with your pets and they will be cared for just like my own. I'm a freelance performer and my availability is very flexible. Should someone need a last minute sitter I am the person to call. I try to be active with my fur babies and I will make sure they are fully stimulated so they are behaved and happy when the owner gets them back. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats to keep your baby company. I also have extra crates if needed. I take them to the beach

About: I grew up in a house where there always seemed to be animals in every corner, so it's probably no surprise that I ended up making a career out of caring for them. For the last 15 years, I've worked with hundreds of animal rescues and supervised veterinary teams to care for animals of all kinds. I've learned everything from reading behaviors to administering meds and cleaning wounds...but just as importantly, I've learned how to make animal's feel safe and loved. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I've fostered dozens and have three of my own (all with different energy levels, high and low) so trust that I know how important it is to find someone who will love them like family. In a way I'd want for my own pets. I'm also currently expecting my first baby (yay!), so I'm taking a step back from my regular career for a while. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I'm currently taking a step back from my full-time career to enjoy my first pregnancy (I'm still quite early), so I have a very flexible schedule and am around most days :) I always try to keep routines as normal as possible while you're away. I'll send plenty of updates (I usually have my camera with me, so expect lots of photos!) and make sure they get all the love, exercise, and attention they're used to. I'm comfortable administering meds, performing injections, wound care, nail trims, and anal gland expressions. One of my dogs is a GSP, so high-energy dogs are right up my alley, and I'm always happy to keep up with walks, adventures, or training. Honestly, I'm here to care for your pet in whatever way makes you feel most comfy, even if that just means sitting on the couch while we watch some old movies. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, or take care of the little things around your home while you're away. My goal is that you come home to a happy pet and a house that's exactly how you left it.

About: I’ve spent much of my adult life in roles where people trusted me with things that mattered to them like their homes, businesses, teams and even careers. I spent my undergraduate years as an Assistant Property Manager before becoming an LAX operations leader and former full-time recruiter, and I bring that same sense of responsibility to more than 10 years of caring for pets. I have especially good experience with senior animals: more than half of the dogs and cats I’ve cared for have been seniors. I love their personalities and am comfortable adjusting to slower walks, medication schedules, established routines and the little preferences that become especially important as pets get older. Even re-potty training them! At the other end of the spectrum, I’m an active person and outrigger paddler, so energetic dogs are very welcome too. Long walks, play and outdoor time fit my lifestyle after having been in grad school in upstate New York. My approach is individualized. My experience has taught me how much better the outcome is when you listen first, ask good questions and understand what constitutes a good fit. Pets aren’t any different. I want to learn their personality and normal routine so I can meet them where they are. My goal is for you to come home thinking, "My pets and home are happy, healthy, safe and ready for me to come back without skipping a beat." My schedule is flexible, and I plan my day around each pet’s routine. I often work from my computer remotely during the day and have broad availability for walks, drop-ins and house sitting. I do have activities outside the home, including early-morning outrigger paddling, but I make sure feeding, potty breaks, medication and other important routines are taken care of first. For house sitting, I’m generally a good fit for pets who are comfortable alone for 4–6 hours at a time, or longer when that is already part of their normal routine. I’m happy to talk through your pet’s schedule before booking and adjust where I reasonably can. I like to begin with a meet-and-greet so I can understand your pet’s normal behavior, routine, medications, household setup and emergency plan before care begins. I review instructions carefully and ask questions upfront that may include how you want me to communicate if something unexpected happens. I pay attention to changes that can be easy to miss, from unusual itching or appetite changes to changes in energy, bathroom habits or behavior, and I’ll let you know when something seems out of the ordinary. I’m equally conscientious with the home itself. I’m a “leave it better than you found it” person. I keep the spaces I use tidy, handle mail and packages according to your preferences, take out trash, water plants and care for linens when appropriate. If you already have cleaners, gardeners or other small business service providers, I’m happy to work around the systems you already have.

About: Hi everyone I’m new to Rover but I would love to give your dog the best day ever! I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs my entire life as my background. Now I have two mini dachshunds of my own that are the sweetest and goofy boys. I took time off work when I got chili (first pup) to ensure he was trained from day one and well taken care of. Went back to work for another year and now have decided to quit my corporate job because I wasn’t fulfilled to now pursue this career full time. Since I’m new I have cheap prices to build myself up but my goal is to start my own doggy day care full time. If you can help me with my dream that would be so appreciated! I have a hybrid job so depending on the day but he is walked before I leave and as soon as I get back. I’m structured, understanding, and flexible. If you leave me a list of to do or specific requirements I will make sure they get done and on time. I’m healthy young adult who has no problem playing or taking a dog on a long walk.
