Usually I try to arrange meet and greets. He has only been cared for by family and is big, intimidating looking, and can be a little quirky sometimes. But I was in a jam at the last minute so I found Jelena. So glad I did! She was great at greeting him and understanding how to interact with his size, breed, needs, and temperament. Jelena was conscientious and thoughtful with how she left our dog and our home after her visit. Look forward to having her return!”

About: I used to have 27 cats and 2 dogs in my apartment. Many of them are picked up from the street or sick. After I work with the pet doctor, I training them, and help the autism and mental disabled people and seniors people. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available on weekends and weeks day. My apartment has no other pet right now! And All the animals like me, and I have so many years experience with pet. I can easily get along with good relationships with your pets.

About: Hello! I adore animals of all kinds and have always seen my pets as part of my family. I've had years of experience with several sweet cats and dogs of my own. We've always rescued and found the best furry friends. For the last 10 years, I've cared for 2 sweet labs next door with frequent walks, meals, tuck-in service (bedtime kongs), and general cuddle puddles 4 days a week. I cat and dog sit for several neighbors and family members and have been doing so consistently for the last 12 years. My home is "beach cozy" (translation: small), so it's best suited for all cats and small-medium-sized dogs that enjoy getting out for walks. If you have a senior dog or cat that needs extra TLC or a quieter home, no kids, no other pets, and all the attention is on them, I am happy to provide a safe, comfy space! I work from home most days and have plenty of time to dedicate to pet, potty, and play breaks! I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most pet needs. I have experience with administering medication and daily IV fluids. I got very comfortable caring for my senior CKD kitty for over a year. About: I have been taking care of many animals all my life. I have taken care of pretty much every pet you can think of from pigeons, cats, dogs, lizards, bunnies, all, and all the way to horses and cows. Needless to say I have a lot of experience and would love to help out in anyway I can! I am a member of the United States Coast Guard, and have a pretty set schedule Monday through Thursday. I am able to do mornings before nine and afternoons after two. About: Hi I’m Serena! I’m currently in my master’s program at CSULB! I work hard and give so much love to every single one of my client’s fur babies depending on all their needs. I've grown up with 5+ dogs in my lifetime and taken care of dogs and cats of every kind and size since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their pets while they were on vacation to walk, feed, and administering their medication (both orally and injections) to their pets. I've taken animal CPR and have lots of experience with senior care with three senior dogs. I’m current attending college at CSULB but I am available in the mornings and evenings for drop in visits. For overnight or extended stays I am available Sunday-Saturday. I will care for them in your home and follow the instructions given to feed and drop in visits. If they are allowed outside, I will go outside with them and keep an eye on them both day and night. I will never let them outside on their own due to safety reasons. If discussed and allowed to housesit, I will keep your pets company for hours doing my quiet hobbies (Reading, drawing, etc.) since my pets tend to dislike being alone in the house for long periods of time.

Since I only offer house sitting in your home, precautions/rules that you set in place for your pet will be what is enforced. I will make sure to constantly keep an eye on your pet, record anything going on to inform you, make sure they don’t hurt themselves, and keep the gate up (if there is any)

I work full time, but I am very available and flexible regarding when I can be with your pets. I am happy to take breaks from work to be with them during the day, or work from your home to keep them company. I am available for daily walks, drop ins, or overnight care. I love taking long walks or going to an open space to let them run depending on what their favorite activity is. :) I work 5 mins away and can be flexible for your schedule :) I tend to take multiple walking breaks a day, and can utilize that as well. I’m currently in a Furnished Finder while making a move transition from Atlanta Georgia. So I would need to come to your place to watch your pet :)

“If you have a Belgian Malinois, Emily is your person. I've gone through several sitters here on Rover who never came back because they didn't or couldn't understand the breed, as they can be very intimidating. After all, they are military/police dogs. Emily was calm with meeting them, and shortly after they began to interact with her and offered her toys to play tug and fetch with them. At no time did Emily ever react with fear or uncertainty, and that's what you need from a sitter if you have one of these dogs or a Dutch Shepherd. She genuinely seemed interested and entertained spending time with us. She also showed up early, and was never in a rush to leave. Highly recommend her.”
