“I was really nervous about leaving my cats two weeks after one was diagnosed with diabetes and had a big change to her routine. Jennifer was great at reassuring me and making sure to be very communicative during her visits so I knew my girls were in good hands. We will definitely be contacting Jennifer for future visits!”

About: Dog mom to Stella (Australian Shepherd) and longtime pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors. I’m especially attentive to dogs with sensitive digestion, allergies, or specific routines to make sure they feel safe, calm, and stress-free. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs, I used to stay at my sister’s home with two aged 14 and 15 when her family would go on vacation (Marley, black lab and Smokey, cattle dog). I love spending time with animals to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and get plenty of movement and attention! I’m currently self-employed so I make my own schedule and have some extra time and would love to care for others’ dogs. I’m a dog mom to Stella, Australian Shepherd (she’s 5) so she’s active and playful. I love all dogs and would love to walk, play, and dogsit for busy owners! If I housesit for your pet, I’ll do some light cleaning for you. At my home, Stella enjoys a safe space and backyard with access in and out all day through a doggie door. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine exactly how you want it and focus on helping them feel calm, comfortable, and cared for
About: I enjoy spending lots of time playing, walking and even a little training. I have also had senior dogs that need a little extra care and attention. I am recently unemployed and have lots of time available. I would love nothing more than to help as many pets/pet parents as I can. Dogs can enjoy lots of play time and walks as well as maybe a little place time and snacks. I have had senior dogs as well that just need some down time and cuddles.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets and making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s routine and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always focus on being attentive, patient, and reliable. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel loved and comfortable. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates for peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine will always be my priority, and I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I have a flexible schedule and make pet care a priority in my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and overnight care depending on your pet’s needs. I always make time for feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, potty breaks, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, needs, and boundaries to help them feel secure and relaxed. I’m attentive during walks, careful with doors/gates, and always make sure pets have a clean, safe, and calm environment. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful, reliable, and follow all care instructions closely. I also provide consistent updates and photos so owners always feel informed and reassured while away.
“Emily was so good with Tushie, who was being "babysat" for the first time by a non-family member in 18 1/2 years. Emily was responsive and prompt, so easy to work with. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

“Reliable and caring, dependable and willing to go above and beyond. Maria can always be counted upon to offer fine service, to stay in touch and to reassure that all is well with your pet. Highly recommend!”
About: I approach pet care with the understanding that every animal is different—whether they’re energetic, shy, routine-driven, or need a little extra patience. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I have hands-on experience caring for pets with more complex needs. One of my own cats is on anxiety medication, so I’m very comfortable administering oral meds in a calm, low-stress way and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, and mood. More recently, my family dog went through a three-month battle with cancer, where I was actively involved in adjusting care routines, monitoring comfort, and providing consistent, attentive support. That experience deepened my ability to respond thoughtfully to pets who need extra care, patience, and flexibility. I’ve also grown up in a household with up to 12 pets at one time, so multitasking and providing individualized attention is second nature to me. I’m confident managing different routines, energy levels, and personalities all at once. I’m highly detail-oriented and reliable, so you can trust that feeding schedules, routines, and any specific instructions will be followed carefully. I also prioritize communication—I provide consistent updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Above all, I treat every pet like they’re my own: with patience, respect, and a genuine investment in their comfort and happiness. As a Ph.D. student, I have a flexible and structured schedule that allows me to consistently incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I plan my days around responsibilities, which makes it easy for me to prioritize visits, walks, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Caring for my own cats is already a big part of my daily life, so feeding schedules, playtime, cleaning, and monitoring behavior are second nature to me. Adding in pet care for others fits seamlessly into that routine. I’m also intentional about not overbooking, so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening visits, I’m able to show up consistently and stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Overall, pet care isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and able to build my schedule around. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or specific habits your pet is used to—so they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m very respectful of your home and make sure everything is kept clean, organized, and exactly how you left it. I’m also attentive to the details that matter, like monitoring eating habits, energy levels, and behavior, so I can quickly notice if anything seems off. Overall, I aim to create a calm, reliable presence so your pet feels safe, cared for, and as comfortable as possible in their own home.

“We love Elise. We forgot to close the doggy gate and we appreciate that Elise checked in with us to see if we want to close it. Our dog loves her! 10/10 I recommended Elise.”
About: Hey! My name is Kaitlyn and I’ve devoted my life to pet care and dog training! I am a certified dog trainer with 9+ years of experience in the pet care industry, including being a supervisor at a local doggy daycare, and working at a dog training gym! I’ve been volunteering at shelters and rescues my entire life, and I genuinely enjoy the work! I’m pet cpr and first aid certified, and dedicated to the health and safety of your pet while under my care! Dogs are my passion, and I’m more than happy to spend the rest of my days walking, training, and looking after them! I’m friendly, safe, respectable and dedicated! I’ve grown up with and around animals, I can’t imagine living my life without them! Thank you so much for the opportunity! I am pet sitting, walking, and training full time! I am unavailable Sundays and Mondays but I am extremely open and flexible otherwise! I typically prefer to walk in the mornings or late afternoon when it’s not too hot! Again, I am flexible! I am experienced in training and managing reactive dogs, large breeds/stronger dogs, as well as senior and special needs dogs. I have experience in handling emergency situations, basic canine CPR/First aid and have dealt with emergencies such as bloat, heart attack, anaphylaxis with a calm and controlled attitude; all of which contributed to the continued health of the dog!
“Kierra was great with our pets and I recommend her without reservation. When she met our three cats she had a natural affinity with them, giving them pets and getting them comfortable with her. She sent us pictures when we were gone, it's always nice to see them and know they are fine. Thank you Kierra for taking care of our critters and giving us peace of mind while away.”
About: Life time lover of dogs and cats! Lucky to have been blessed with my Maltese Alli, who crossed the rainbow bridge last year. Now I’d love to get some quality petting time and meet your babies! Experience: Volunteer with WAGS Animal Shelter and have fostered with the Animal Foundation in Las Vegas. I’ve fostered kittens that required bottle feeding and medications, as well as an elderly cat. I’m currently on the job search so would love to have some company while I apply or get an excuse for most likely much needed fresh air and belly rubs! I have a closed off backyard but I’d definitely keep your pets indoors (outside of bathroom breaks) unless you feel otherwise. Obviously we’ll chat about what you’re comfortable with and what environment your pet thrives in.
“Dominique was great! She was flexible and it worked with both of our schedules while we were away from our 2 cats for a few days. She kept our girls company, played with them, fed them and cleaned up the litter boxes. Thank you Dominique!”

Our home is truly a place where pups feel safe, loved, and welcomed. Our family absolutely loves having doggie friends over, and we can’t wait to welcome your pup into our home! ❤️ Because we have small children and two social dogs, we kindly ask that visiting pups be friendly, well-behaved, and comfortable around kids and other dogs. While we’re not trainers, we provide a safe, structured, and caring environment—so basic training and good listening skills are important to make the stay enjoyable for everyone. During the day, your pup will enjoy: A large, secure backyard to play and explore Access to the garage for shade and cozy resting spots Friendly company from Sosa and Lola A peaceful, relaxed environment until we return from work We also encourage you to send your dog’s favorite bed or blanket to help them feel even more at home. ⭐ Drop-off as early as 7 AM ⭐ Pick-up available after 6 PM We treat every dog like part of our family, and our goal is to make sure your pup feels comfortable, happy, and cared for during their stay. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help. We can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾💛 Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because we already have two dogs of our own, so caring for pets is simply part of our everyday life. We start our mornings with feeding, potty breaks, and backyard playtime before school and work. In the evenings, we spend time outside again for exercise, attention, and downtime together as a family. Any visiting pup easily becomes part of this routine—they’re included in playtime, supervised outdoor time, and all the love and attention we give our own dogs. Caring for dogs is something we enjoy and do consistently, so your pet will fit right in and feel like family. I care for pets in my home by welcoming them into our regular family routine and providing a safe, structured, and loving environment. Visiting dogs have access to our large garage and fenced backyard for supervised play, potty breaks, and exercise. They also enjoy the company of our two friendly dogs, who help create a comfortable and social atmosphere. I maintain each dog’s feeding schedule, provide plenty of attention, and make sure they have a cozy place to rest. During the day while we are at work, the dogs stay in our secure backyard with access to shade and lounging areas. In the evenings and mornings, we spend extra time playing with them, giving affection, and making sure their needs are met. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home while staying with us.

“Kristen was fantastic with my senior pup! My little guy is 14 and has some health issues, so I felt very at ease knowing Kristen is a vet nurse. She provided multiple updates and pictures throughout the visit. I highly recommend her!”

Vivian did so well with my cats! She went above and beyond while caring for my cats while I was away, always keeping me updated each day. Really appreciate how clean the litter box was when I returned. She even emptied the trash can when it got too full with the litter. Very trustworthy and professional, definitely recommend her.

Emily is wonderful! She took great care of our skittish cat. She made sure he had fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and some human affection. We were surprised at how quickly he warmed up to her. Emily went the extra mile to clean up his feeding area and bring in a package while we were gone. She's officially our cat's favorite sitter! We will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Maddy followed through with everything we asked. Reptar is a little jerk to new people sometimes but she was able to get him to come out, play a little, and become friends with him by the end of his care. He didn’t have any accidents when I came home which is the best thing I could ask for since he’s likes to when I’m out of town to make me know he’s mad with a stranger. That just shows how great she was with him. would definitely book her again!

Hannah was amazing! Attentive with my kittens and to their needs. This was the first time I was away from them since I adopted them so I was very nervous, Hannah sent photos and updated me throughout the visits. I will definitely have her back if she’ll return. Thank you!!!

This was my first time using rover and honestly I was super nervous. Those nerves went away so fast with Andrea. She asked a ton of follow up questions when meeting my cats to ensure she would be able to take care of them properly. That really eased my mind when I was leaving. During my trip she sent constant updates and pictures of the state of the kitties and my apartment. I was able rest easy knowing my cats and my apartment were in amazing shape. I am so incredibly grateful for Andrea's communication and care skills. If you need someone to take care of your pets with the same care you do Andrea will do just that

Kendall was amazing with my cats! This is the second time I’ve had her come feed my kitties. Kendall sent great updates and pics, and it was clear my kitties were happy and well cared for. Super reliable and easy to communicate with — definitely book again! 😊

Geneva made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She took care of Oreo as if she were a member of her own family. She sent me videos every time she visited, which meant so much because I could see my baby girl from afar. Geneva is truly caring and very detail-oriented, always checking everything carefully to make sure Oreo had all the supplies she needed. I will definitely choose her again the next time I travel.

Sofia was an excellent pet sitter. I was traveling for 3 weeks out of the country and Sofia dropped by every other day and took car of my multiple cats. The cats are a handful and one required medication and Sofia did a great job. She fed and watered them as well as cleaned their litter boxes. Three of the cats hide in my sofa and she aways looked in it to make sure the three shy cats were there and ok. She also proved updates and pictures of the various cats which I enjoyed looking at from across the world during my vacation. I would highly recommend Sofia for any of your pet sitting needs.

Kirsten has taken care of my cat many times over the years, most recently two years ago and again this month. She visited four times and did a wonderful job. My cat loves her and enjoys playing with her. Kirsten is reliable, communicative, and I always feel at ease booking with her.

I very pleased with Elizabeth’s kindness and attentiveness! I am beyond neurotic when it comes to my fur babies lol and I have incredibly high expectation of their care and safety - They are my children. I found Elizabeth’s profile and although it’s always nerve wracking to entrust someone with your “kids” you just met, I had a good feeling about her in our messages. we arranged a meet and greet prior to our first Christmas Day evening visit and she was just wonderful. She listened closely to their routine at our meet and greet, and was very sweet and personable. She sent many photos during their Christmas Day visit which is always appreciated; She coaxed our pup who is a picky eater to eat more of his dinner which was a win and our very shy young cat even came out to say hi to her which never happens! I had notated in their care notes to stay in well lit areas on the walk with our pup due to coyotes and I could tell from the photos and map in rover she did exactly that- It means the world that she paid attention and customized their visit with our requests. I can tell She has a kind heart for animals and I am grateful we found her. We came home that night to two happy, well fed and content babies- already planning their next visit with her in January. Thank you Elizabeth!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
