I have lived with, loved, and cared for dogs throughout my entire life. I have been pet sitting and walking for over a decade. I have also been fostering dogs and cats for many years, so I am well versed in the care of pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. I have 3 pets (2 dogs and cat), for which my love is unmeasurable, and I can assure you that I will show your animals the same love. All of my pets are very friendly to other animals and love having friends over! If your dog would rather not be around other dogs then you can just book house sitting, and I will come give them my undivided attention in your home. I have a minor in animal science from UC Davis, I have worked at a local doggy daycare, and most recently I worked at the San Diego Humane Society before moving back to Huntington Beach. That being said I am completely comfortable caring for senior animals and pets with special needs. I have personally owned an anxious and reactive dog, so I know how scary it can be to leave them with a sitter, but I can assure you that I will go at your dogs pace, and I will be extremely attentive to things like doors and gates to make sure your baby stays safe. I am also comfortable using a variety of walking/training tools (Prong, Ecollar, gentle leader etc.), so if you would like me to incorporate these into your dogs walk that is no problem. In addition, I am experienced in giving subcutaneous injections if that is something your pet needs and I am pet CPR certified.
