“Sofia is such a sweetheart and wonderful with my senior pup! She took the time to come meet Skippy a couple days prior to our booking and he immediately went right up to her which he’s usually reluctant to do. About: I have been taking care of dogs from all various age ranges since I started dog sitting and walking at the age of twelve. While I don't have any professional training, I can easily connect with dogs on personal level because of my warm and friendly personality. I have two large dogs of my own and have an understanding of what it takes to care for bigger breed dogs. I love to spoil my own pets and will do the same for my current and future clients. I currently work as a teacher so I'm available to take care of a clients pet in the early mornings and anytime after 2PM. I'm more available on the weekends and will usually take the pet out for longer walks as my schedule permits. I have never taken care of another clients pet in my own home, I always get offered to stay in my clients homes. The clients always introduce me to the pet before I take the job, to make sure I will be a good fit and am trustworthy to be in their home. All clients I have house sat for, leave detailed written instructions as to what their pets daily needs and routine are. I make sure to follow all directions exactly how they are written and I keep the client up to date on how the animal is doing plus I send check in pictures whether they are requested or not.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fountain Valley
Samantha was very professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She responded promptly to the booking request and was highly communicative as we set up the meet and greet as well as the drop in visits. Samantha took excellent care of the kitties, who were happy and relaxed around her. We are so glad we connected with Samantha!

This was our first time booking a cat sitter through Rover, and Andrea made everything very easy for us. She was reliable and followed our instructions well. She sent us pictures during her check-in with our pet. We will definitely be rebooking Andrea in the future!

Amy went above and beyond for my senior cat. I reached out to her just hours before I had to leave for a last minute trip and she responded immediately. Throughout her care I received tons of pictures and videos. He was so happy and well cared for on my return. Such a great sitter and clearly cares about the pets she takes care of.

Sarah has been an amazing sitter for us! She's been flexible and accommodating to our cats as well our sitting needs. We looked forward to her wonderful drop in updates every day we were gone. She was even able to coax one of our more shy cats out of hiding for some pets! Highly recommend Sarah for your pet sitting needs!
Heather checked in on my kitties over my 4 day vacation and I could not be happier with how she took care of them. She was great with communication throughout and shared great photos/overview of each visit. Her experience with animals definitely shows in her interactions with pets and I feel truly at ease knowing my kitties are in great hands with her. :)

Nadine did a wonderful job dropping in to care for our pets while we were away on vacation. She fed our dogs and cat and administered medications they need. Our dogs loved going for walks with her each visit, and we really appreciated getting her updates (with photos). We were able to enjoy our time away knowing that our pets were in great hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
