“Samantha was very professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She responded promptly to the booking request and was highly communicative as we set up the meet and greet as well as the drop in visits. Samantha took excellent care of the kitties, who were happy and relaxed around her. We are so glad we connected with Samantha!”

“Sofia is such a sweetheart and wonderful with my senior pup! She took the time to come meet Skippy a couple days prior to our booking and he immediately went right up to her which he’s usually reluctant to do. I’m very picky about who I have watch Skippy and I feel so safe and at ease when Sofia is taking care of him. I highly recommend Sofia!”

“Where do I begin...… We were out of the country for a family vacation for 10 days and we entrusted our fur family to Nadine and Josh. They took the BEST care of our pets. They followed all our instructions so all of our pets (two dogs and three cats) did not feel out of their routine. We have a senior chihuahua and two senior cats so they needed extra belly rubs and scratches! They got all their belly rubs and more. We received photos on every visit which put us at ease. Everything was left clean and beyond our expectations! I would 200% recommend them. We will definitely ask them to come back the next time we are out of town. Sincerely, thank you so much for everything! Emma, Kyla, Rockne, Kona, and Remy miss you and say thank you too. June M. Huntington Beach”

About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals throughout my life so I am very comfortable with animals. Many of the dogs I have known are rescue dogs so I always accommodate to their needs in order for them to feel comfortable. Over the years I have taken care of friends and family members dogs when they have been away. Making sure all their needs are met and they are happy is my goal. I strive to provide every dog attention and love because every dog is good as long as they are loved and cared for. The afternoons and evenings can be hit or miss since my work schedule isn’t fixed. I currently have two cats and always make sure their litter box is cleaned daily as well as feeding them. Ensuring that all their needs are met is my priority, because if they’re happy, everyone’s happy.

Tracy was amazing with our cat, Maggie! Maggie absolutely loved her, which is the highest compliment since she is pretty picky. Tracy took great care of her, went above and beyond, and was very communicative and thoughtful. We will 100% be requesting her in the future.

Andrea went above and beyond for our two kitties. This was our first time leaving them for a longer period of time and Andrea communicated everything clearly and made us feel at ease with the updates and photos. I highly suggest her. She also got my cat who is afraid of everyone and everything to come out and play! She is truly a cat whisperer:)

Samantha was very professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She responded promptly to the booking request and was highly communicative as we set up the meet and greet as well as the drop in visits. Samantha took excellent care of the kitties, who were happy and relaxed around her. We are so glad we connected with Samantha!

Amy went above and beyond for my senior cat. I reached out to her just hours before I had to leave for a last minute trip and she responded immediately. Throughout her care I received tons of pictures and videos. He was so happy and well cared for on my return. Such a great sitter and clearly cares about the pets she takes care of.

Sarah has been an amazing sitter for us! She's been flexible and accommodating to our cats as well our sitting needs. We looked forward to her wonderful drop in updates every day we were gone. She was even able to coax one of our more shy cats out of hiding for some pets! Highly recommend Sarah for your pet sitting needs!
Heather checked in on my kitties over my 4 day vacation and I could not be happier with how she took care of them. She was great with communication throughout and shared great photos/overview of each visit. Her experience with animals definitely shows in her interactions with pets and I feel truly at ease knowing my kitties are in great hands with her. :)

Nadine did a wonderful job dropping in to care for our pets while we were away on vacation. She fed our dogs and cat and administered medications they need. Our dogs loved going for walks with her each visit, and we really appreciated getting her updates (with photos). We were able to enjoy our time away knowing that our pets were in great hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
