Right now, I care for my own 7-month-old Belgian Malinois mix puppy, Calico, which has given me plenty of practice handling energetic breeds, training, and creating routines. But at home in New Hampshire, I have two cats, one tortoiseshell and a tuxedo boy who are both indoors. I also grew up with a greater swiss mountain dog and took care of her in her senior years. About: I’ve grown up caring for both dogs and cats, and currently help care for my 6-year-old French Bulldog and 8-year-old Golden Retriever, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, senior dog needs, and attentive care. Since childhood, I’ve also walked and pet-sat neighbors’ dogs and cats. Since 2021, I’ve been a dog walker at Priceless Pet Rescue, where I’ve gained experience handling dogs of all temperaments, including more challenging ones. About: I have been volunteering at an animal shelter since I was 15, where I walked, fed, cleaned, and played with both dogs and cats every week. Through this experience, I became comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, sizes, energy levels, and needs. I’ve also pet sat and walked many dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, and I always make sure animals feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I am currently a full-time student at UCLA, but I usually only have one class a day so I have a lot of free time to take care of your pets! About: I’ve been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. I always do a quick sweep of the environment to remove potential hazards before the pet arrives or I begin my stay. I also take time to understand each pet’s specific needs and routines — from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes or quirks around other dogs. I never leave pets unsupervised in unfamiliar environments, and I’m mindful of keeping doors securely shut, leashes clipped properly, and making sure they're never out of sight on walks. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and cozy environment where pets feel at ease and pet parents feel confident their animals are in caring, capable hands.
