“Devenee was so wonderful and she was able to win my cat over very quickly despite my cat being super shy to new people. The photos she sent of my cat are some of my favorites of her now. I'll be rebooking with her for future travels as long as she is available to watch my cat.”

About: Hi, my name is Candace and I have been a member of Rover.com starting March 21, 2012 from Dog Hosting to my current position as Dog Walker. As a recent college graduate with experience as a home care aide, I am eager to use my skills to provide dedicated pet care, ensuring your furry companion receives the attention and care they deserve while you maintain a balanced lifestyle, and I am available on weekends and holidays to integrate into your daily or weekly routine. My belief is dogs are family and I will treat your dog similarly to how I treat my own dog who is the apple of my eye.
About: i have great experience working with dogs because of my work volunteering at the humane society for several years, and will develop a great connection with pets as if they are my own! I am a freshman playing so my schedule may be unpredictable at times but most weekends are open and afternoons work better than mornings for me. I work to develop a great connection with the pet, while giving them my full attention and making sure they are staying safe healthy, and happy.
About: As a certified energy healer of people and pets (especially dogs and cats), I deeply connect with them and feel and understand their love and empathy. I truly believe that they are angels and therapists and I love to spend time with them. I look forward to receiving your trust to love and care for them. I have a flexible schedule and can work around the time that I am caring for my family and pets etc. during my available hours. It depends on which service is requested while always strictly adhering to Rover policies as well as the client’s needs. Will send regular updates and photos.

“Michelle is wonderful, and our pup loves her! We appreciate all the cute photos and the timely responses. She is always very easy to communicate with and incredibly reliable.”

About: With me your pet will be a family member, one of us. He or she will go to places with us instead of staying home alone. I got my first dog at the tender age of eight. Been a pet lover all my life. I have provided pet sitting services since 2016, been taking care of both dogs and cats. Everybody in my small family loves pets and cares for animals. We live in a house in Newport Beach, in the middle of parks and greenery where there is plenty of space for walks and runs. In our home pets are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. Please have your pet potty trained. Looking forward to taking care of your pet. Thank you.
“Hannah is such a sweetheart! She was so considerate and conscious of the space and of my fur bb. (As well as pleasantly communicative and professional throughout our experience )💖 It’s obvious that she’s authentically an animal lover through and through 🥰”

“Vi has been great for our young puppy! She keeps you well in the loop on how your pet is doing during in house visits, and is very reliable, responsive, and flexible to all our young pups needs. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first experience using Rover. We have a new puppy and I was nervous, however Ashley was amazing, on time to each drop in visit, great communication and updates. My request for help was very last minute and Ashley was quick to respond and help us out. I know we'll be using rover a lot more and this first experience gave me great confidence. Thank you Ashely!”

About: I can monitor pills needed since I took care of my dog when he was sick and I can feed, walk, bathe and tend to any zoomies. I’m currently a part time student and working part time. I can make time since my schedule isn’t full. I prefer early mornings or late afternoons I have a fenced dog and a senior dog who is very mellow and well trained. Unfortunately I don’t offer boarding just something I wanted to put out there.
“Elli was incredible - SO responsive and responsible!! She took such great care of ShiShi while I was out of town. She was detailed with her questions and made sure that she had everything she needed to look after ShiShi. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!!”

About: After losing my beloved fur baby of 13.5 years, Jax, to a massive tumor, I decided to leave Corporate America and embark on a soul-searching journey through South America. Along the way, I connected with so many wonderful dogs who filled my heart with love and comfort. Now that I’m back home, I’m focusing on writing a book about my journey and enjoying the flexibility in my schedule. Though I’m not ready for another dog of my own just yet, I would love to be an "auntie" to yours. Friends always joked that I treated Jax better than most people treat their children—we were inseparable! We’d go on outdoor adventures, especially to the beach, which was our happy place. During the last year of his life, I cooked him healthy meals and found natural supplements to help him through his battle. I’d love to care for your pup while you’re off on your own adventures, either in your home or mine. I have a passion for yoga, self-care, travel, live music, good food, and sunsets—so your fur baby will be in good company on our little adventures. I'm super flexible with my schedule, so your pup can join me on walks in the Back Bay or the Beach—two of my favorite spots! If they prefer some quiet time, they can hang out with me while I’m writing my book, or we can just snuggle on the couch and relax together. Whether it’s outdoor adventures or cozy downtime, I’m happy to give your fur baby the care and love they need. To ensure your pup’s comfort and safety, it’s important to know about their temperament and preferences. Understanding what they enjoy, their routine, and any specific needs they might have helps me provide the best care possible. While I may prefer to host them at my place, I’m open to staying at your home if it feels right for everyone. A meet-and-greet beforehand is ideal to ensure there’s compatibility and comfort for all parties involved before committing to a stay.
About: Will keep in communication with owners - sending photos and updates! I'm a remote worker and can provide attentive at home love and care. I enjoy an active lifestyle and will exercise with your animal to whatever extent they need. I've dealt with energetic dogs and cats who needed long walks and play as well as older animals who enjoy a calmer attention. In my 15 years of pet care, I have provided animals with oral as well as topical medication. As someone who's always been an animal lover, I look forward to getting to know your animal. Providing your pet a staycation while you're away! I currently work remotely so will have plenty of time to provide love and attention to your pet! I usually go on a long walk or run in the morning and can go on a few more throughout the day if needed. I make sure to be aware of the animal's behaviors beforehand in order to properly supervise them. I ensure they feel as little loss as possible when their family is away by knowing their routines, favorite things to do, and more!
About: Hello! I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid and got my first pet. We have had three cats and two dogs that I have grown up with and helped to take care of. Both of my dogs were rescues and I have fostered dogs from the Humane Society so I am familiar with the extra TLC that may need to be given to rescue pups due to some having difficult backgrounds before being rescued. I helped my family train both dogs when they were little. I love all kinds of dogs big and small. I also am very familiar with cats and have had a ton of experience with them as well having helped my family raise 3 cats. I am unable to adopt any animals where I am currently living so I would love the opportunity to treat your animal like it was my own and love on them because I miss having that in my life! My schedule is very flexible and is mostly work from home. There are a few days that I need to report to the job site. I can make sure your pet gets to stick to its normal routine in your home and will ensure that they are well taken care of!
“Very good first meeting. Jordy loved Tina. She's very good with big dogs and ours has separation anxiety. He had no trouble going out with her alone and I could tell he was very comfortable with her.”

Miranda was great with taking care of our 6 year old cat. She was very communicative and sent us lots of photos of our baby during her visits. She played with her and gave us updates on how much she was eating. Our girl is shy and she warmed up to Miranda very quickly. We felt at ease knowing she was in great care while we were away. Thank you! 😻

Nancy was simply wonderful. I am so glad to have found her because she took such good care of my cats and made me feel very comfortable about leaving my cats for a couple of weeks. She was extremely professional, communicative, and I could tell she was great with pets because my very shy cats came out to greet her… so unlike them and a great sign. I would not hesitate to book her again. Thanks Nancy!!!
Mable did a great job taking care of our 1yo cat Jean! She was super timely with her visits, sent lots of pictures of play time, gave detailed updates each visit, and was super easy to coordinate and communicate with. Definitely would recommend her and hope she can be our go to sitter for our future trips out of town!

Anna was amazing with communication and attention to detail while taking care of our cat Noah. She definitely went above and beyond and even spent extra time with him. I would not hesitate to have her look after him again and would recommend Anna to anyone looking for help with their fur baby.

Marne was fantastic! She kept us updated with thoughtful messages and plenty of pictures, which made it so much easier to relax while we were away. We felt completely comfortable having her in our home, and she took wonderful care of our little guy. She even cleaned up an unexpected hairball surprise, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely book with her again.

Candice was wonderful!!! Both my kitties love her so much! The photos I got made me feel like I was there. And, she went above and beyond to repair a small hole Bunny put in a window screen. I couldn’t ask for a more responsible, sensible, and sensitive pet sitter.

She was a great cat sitter! She was always on time, reliable, and kept us updated while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also brought in our packages and watered our plants, which we really appreciated. Our cat was in great hands, and we'd definitely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
