“Javier was amazing with Cooper! He followed directions perfectly and was incredibly patient. Cooper is a Golden Retriever and can be quite stubborn especially as he’s nearing 10 and struggles with stairs and even leaving the house sometimes but Javier handled him with so much care and understanding. He kept me updated, called when needed, and sent photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Cooper clearly loves Javier, and that says everything. We will absolutely be booking Javier again very soon. Highly recommend!”

“Kailyr is a caring, attentive, and responsive sitter! One of my boys needed medication while I was away and she was able to give it to him no problem. You can tell she truly cared for my cats and is an animal lover. Would love to book with her again!”

“Rachel was so great with my cat! She’s reliable, detailed and kind. My cat needs medications and she was a pro administering them to him. Thank you so much Rachel, I highly recommend you!”

About: Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m based right in CDM steps from Crystal Cove, and I absolutely love what I do. My days are spent walking the coast, hiking the trails, and giving dogs the kind of attention and care that actually makes a difference. It’s genuinely my favorite part of my day. I’ve had dogs of my own for 15+ years and have experience with a wide range of breeds I can read body language, understand what a dog needs in the moment, and adjust on the fly. I have a special love for working breeds and high-energy dogs who actually want to do something on a walk. I work from home running a wellness business, so your dog gets real time and presence not someone rushing between jobs. Walks with me mean actual coastal adventures: Crystal Cove trails, Little Corona Beach, tide pool paths with ocean views. I’m an early riser, I keep a consistent schedule, and I pay attention to how your dog is feeling that day. My home is calm, clean, and non-toxic that’s just how I live. Good energy, no chaos, and plenty of cozy spots to decompress between adventures. You’ll get photos and updates so you always know they’re happy and well. I keep my roster small because I actually want to know your dog their quirks, their favorite spots, what makes them light up. Whether you need a reliable daily walker or someone to love on them while you travel, I’d love to meet them! 🐾 Working from home in my fitness and nutrition business means pets get constant attention and care. It's a daily dose of exercise and joy that complements my healthy lifestyle. Walks, fetch, or just quiet moments, pets make my day—and yours—brighter! When it comes to pet care, it's all about their turf. I'm a firm believer in maintaining their routine at home, where they're comfy and happy. I seamlessly fit into their schedule, whether it's mealtime, playtime, or cuddle time. Rest assured, your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities!"
About: pets can sense energy high or low, some pets are more comfortable with interactions that feel more simple and less stressful, or perhaps prefer hyper or playful: I adjust to your pets’ need and safety I am currently switching careers since I just finished my bachelor’s degree and am applying for graduate school. As I search for my next adventure in career, taking care of pets is great to nurture the soul and lean into surrounding myself with caring for others in big and small moments as they become more available. I care for your pets and your home with respect, patience, and timely professional decorum. I want to be welcomed back again and I want you to always be welcomed home upon your return
“Polina has taken excellent care of my cat, Christof, who has complex medical needs including requiring insulin injections. She is very detail oriented and provides wonderful updates complete with photos/videos every time! Highly recommend!”

“Deborah is a passionate pet sitter who loves animals and is dedicated to caring for pets. I had forgotten to call the gate about her coming in the first night and she was so kind and understanding about having to come back a second time the same night to care for our kitty. She is very responsible and sent lots of photos!”
About: I grew up with many pets and regularly walk my own dogs. I have also had experience taking care of a dog with no bladder control, constant urinary tract infections, and the need to be manually expressed. I am very comfortable taking care of both big and small dogs. I not only have experience with dogs but have also housesitted for a household with five cats. I’m currently attending University of California, Irvine while also working in a research lab, so I’m used to balancing a structured schedule and staying organized. I’m also very active as a member of the triathlon team at UCI, which means I already spend a lot of time outdoors and love going on morning and evening walks or runs. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and incorporating walks, playtime, feeding, and quality attention into my day feels very natural for me. While walking your dog, I will carry water and a small bowl and ensure your pet's comfort. For housesitting, I can easily take instructions and provide a safe environment for your pet.

About: I grew up with 5 dogs and 2 cats, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life! I genuinely love spending time with every fur baby — whether that’s going on walks, playing, giving cuddles, or just keeping them company and making them feel safe and loved while you’re away. I am currently a student at UCI living on campus! I have a car and a pretty flexible schedule throughout the week, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily routine. I love spending time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and giving pets attention honestly feels more fun than work to me. I’m very responsible with my time and make sure every pet gets the care, attention, and love they deserve. Since I live in an apartment that does not allow pets, I currently offer care in my client’s home through walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their familiar environment. I follow each owner’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding, walks, playtime, medications, routines, and anything else their pet may need. I also love giving pets lots of attention, affection, and companionship while their owners are away!
“Alyssa is wonderful. I have two small dogs, one of which has special medical needs and she is able to accomodate a demanding routine, as well as goes above and beyond to make herself available as needed and make sure the pups are taken care of in every way. She's an angel!”

“Ryan did an amazing job with my dog Koda! I could tell Koda had a great time on his walk and felt comfortable with Ryan right away. He was super responsive and communicative, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Ryan clearly has a lot of experience with dogs. He quickly understood and followed Koda’s walking routine and handled his occasional reactivity around other dogs with confidence and ease. I’ll definitely be booking Ryan again.”

About: I’ve lived in Newport Coast for over 32 years, raised three children, and have spent decades caring for dogs as beloved family members. I’ve had three dogs of my own, each with different needs — including a blind dog, a very active dog, and one who experiences anxiety — which has given me a deep appreciation for patience, gentleness, and consistency. I’m a loving, attentive, and reliable caregiver with a calm presence. I enjoy being outdoors and truly value the one-on-one connection that comes from walking and caring for dogs. Available weekdays. Weekend mornings only, before the sun goes down as needed. Please message me to confirm availability — I’m happy to accommodate when possible. For safety and comfort, I provide services exclusively in your home. This includes dog walks, potty breaks, and drop-in visits. I do not offer boarding or care in my home.
About: I have always had animals or dogs in my life since I was little. I have a senior chihuahua that I have been able to grow up with, he was a rescue and we have been best buds since! I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs and adapting to their food regimen. My dog has a special one since he is so old. I have also administered oral medication to dogs before. I am currently part-time so I have a very open schedule. My college classes are online, so I am very available and open for last minute things! In a client's home, I will follow instructions exactly, whether it be specific routines or potty times. I will follow it to a T and am very respectful of other peoples homes!
“Absolutely phenomenal job - these two have me absolute piece of mind during a week away at a conference! They were extremely professional, communicative, kind and caring. They took tons of great photos, and gave our kitties what they needed to be happy, healthy, and calm upon our return 💖 thank you soooo much!”

About: I am a super animal nerd whose feed is covered with animals. I love all different kinds of animals that some people might be scared of. I had all kinds of pets throughout my life, and they lived longer than their life span. I’ve cared for all my family/friends’ dogs since I was little. I’ve been taking care of my aunt’s elderly dog, who is deaf and blind, for a month every year since they could only trust me. I can play and cuddle with them the entire day since I am always home and go out only for exercise. I am the best dog walker since I love running, hiking, and walking near the area, as we have so many good places to do so:) I work from home and barely go out because I am homebody and love cuddling and playing with animals entire day. I love running and walking near my place and can do it as much as needed. My place is a third-floor townhome plan, and it’s 1,500 sq ft. I don’t leave my place for three hours a day unless there is a special occasion. We have three cats at home, so a fur baby who is aggressive towards cats cannot stay at my place. They are all fully vaccinated including rabies, and shy but sweet. We have many hiking trails, beach walks, and parks near our place so we can go to entertain the dogs as much as they want:)
San Joaquin Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kailyr is exceptionally experienced in taking care of cats. She did everything expected and beyond. She is patient, attentive, and very kind to our cat. She even brought healthy treats and fun games for our cat to eat and play with. She is the best sitter I could have had, for sure!
Deborah is a passionate pet sitter who loves animals and is dedicated to caring for pets. I had forgotten to call the gate about her coming in the first night and she was so kind and understanding about having to come back a second time the same night to care for our kitty. She is very responsible and sent lots of photos!
Isabel was a fantastic pet sitter. She sent informative daily updates along with adorable pics of our three cats. They seemed calm and happy when we returned home. Their food and litter areas were clean and organized. We so enjoyed meeting Isabel at our meet and greet and had no doubt that our beloved boys would be in capable hands while we were away.

Ziran took such wonderful care of my cat OJ while I was away. I got thoughtful updates and adorable photos every day, which reassured me a lot. When I came home, OJ was relaxed, well-fed, and his space was clean and tidy. It’s obvious that Ziran truly cares about animals and treats them like their own.

Christy was wonderful with my four cats! They are not used to being sat and some of them have particularly medical needs, but she was able to make sure they got their meds and some love while we were gone. I will definitely be asking her next time I need a sitter.
Novia informed me that she was available to cat-sit for another day as our flight would arrive late and we were more than happy to have our cats’ needs be addressed. Novia was also communicative throughout our interaction on the app. Our cats and everything in our place were well cared for.
