I am extremely calm, mature and responsible and will care for your pets as if they are my own. I have a wonderful 2 year old lab named Lucy. She is a cherished member of our family. My first dog was Frankie who I was privileged to have for 15.5 years . I am experienced in caring for senior pets and am familiar with the extra care and/or meds that they may require. I have a strong background in caregiving and household responsibility which means I’m attentive, trustworthy, and consistent in following routines and instructions. I’m flexible with scheduling and easy to communicate with. I am available to care for pets on a full time basis. About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I currently still foster dogs and kittens on my own and am the go to sitter for all my friends and family. Spent years volunteering at shelters and rescues and also worked at a pet store for over a year. Also lover of small critters being a mom of fish, frogs, a hamster, and a spider. I currently work from home selling artwork and crafts so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I can stay all day or even over night and make sure to keep your pet company. I’m an avid hiker so I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a long hike (with permission obviously) or shorter walks around the neighborhood. I would only need to leave for short errands and to feed my own pets if my partner is unable to do so, but majority of time is dedicated to your Pets in your home. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and personalities and can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. If they are shy and need time to warm up, I will do all I can to gain their trust. If they need specialty food or medication, I have my own cats on a strict medication schedule so I’m more than used to it. If they are high energy and need lots of exercise I will make sure to get them up and running around as much as they need. I just want to make sure their lives are just as comfortable as when you are home with them.

About: Hi there! My name is Charlene and I’ve had experience taking care of dogs since I was 4 from taking care of my family dog Heidi. More specifically I started taking on more responsibilities in pet care when I turned 8. Taking my dog on daily walks, feeding everyday, and picking up their waste in the backyard after I came home from school. Now that I’ve grown up, I have a cat named Georgie which I have learned to care for the last year I’ve had him. Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I am happy to treat them like you would when you can’t. I am currently working remotely. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and with a park nearby for walks, giving me quick and easy access to always be available to let your furry friend out. I have experience with all dog sizes, but I prefer to work with medium to small dogs. If boarding in my own home, I have a cat who is fine with dogs. He tends to keep to himself when around dogs and won’t attack. I’m currently working from home so I have a lot of free time in between applications to play with your furbaby all the time. About: I am a lover of all animals and am lucky enough to currently have two dogs and a cat! I have always been surrounded by animals- horses, dogs, cats, bunnies and currently have two young and active border collies, Bootsy and Booker that are my world and so much fun!. One thing my animals love is consistency and a regular schedule of doing things and I understand that they need that in order to feel comfortable and safe- especially while their humans are away! I am both comfortable with big dogs with lots of energy or mellow little pups who just need some cuddles. Administering medication via pill or liquid form is no problem as I have lots of experience with pet meds. Your furry friends will be in very responsible and loving hands while you are gone! I work from home and own my own candle company so I am super flexible with my schedule. I can do weekdays or weekends- even last minute is usually no problem! Long term stays are also possible. I would love to set up a Meet & Greet so I can get to know you, your animals and what you expect during my stay. Being a neat person, I will always leave your home clean and I have no problem watering plants as well. Currently, I don't offer boarding at my house, but would be happy to come to your house and stay overnight or drop in for play time while you are away- whatever your current situation calls for. I am a detail oriented person and find the little things important for pets- whether it be walking the same walk they do day in and day out, or adding just the right amount of warm chicken stock to their food. I totally get it and am happy to be there for your animals and you!

I am now a newly empty nest Mom with a very quiet house. In all my years having family pets, like you are now, I always found a private sitter to care for my animals while I was away. “Polina is a dream come true! I needed a dog walker last minute and she responded to my request immediately and was able to come over the next day for a meet and greet. Oliver, our Frenchie, goes nuts when people come to the door, especially strangers. But Polina seemed to be a dog whisperer, as Oliver barked only a couple of times, and she immediately knelt down and snuggled him. He absolutely adored her! We spent 20 minutes chatting about his specific needs and habits during his walks, and I hired her on the spot to take him for his 30 minute walk. I received a video during the walk, and upon return, she talked with me about how the walk went and mutually agreed she would be our dog walker for all future walks. I can't find the words for how comforted I was knowing Oliver adored her and trusted her.
