About: I am a certified animal communicator and reiki practitioner with over 10 years of experience. However I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as those with vision and hearing impairment. I also volunteer my communication services to animal rescues to help dogs exhibiting puzzling behavior be heard. In addition I work as an animal transporter for several rescues, so I guess you could say I’m a professional canine chauffeur! I have experience working with a wide range of ages and breeds. I always take it slow and allow the animal to share what they wish to with me, just as you would with a young child. This establishes a foundation of trust that we can build upon.

About: I have had pets for my entire life (and that's a long time). I have been fostering puppies/dogs and kittens/cats for the last several years. I am now a newly empty nest Mom with a very quiet house. In all my years having family pets, like you are now, I always found a private sitter to care for my animals while I was away. I believe pets are not meant to be boarded if it can be avoided. I am a newly empty nest, stay at home Mom with lots of time, energy and space to care for puppies/dogs and kittens/cats. We have a large, two story home with a fully fenced back yard and side pet door that leads to a fully enclosed run. About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I’m an avid hiker so I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a long hike (with permission obviously) or shorter walks around the neighborhood. I would only need to leave for short errands and to feed my own pets if my partner is unable to do so, but majority of time is dedicated to your Pets in your home. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and personalities and can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. If they are shy and need time to warm up, I will do all I can to gain their trust. If they need specialty food or medication, I have my own cats on a strict medication schedule so I’m more than used to it. If they are high energy and need lots of exercise I will make sure to get them up and running around as much as they need. I just want to make sure their lives are just as comfortable as when you are home with them.

Being athletic myself and having easy access to great trails and walking routes nearby makes me an ideal dog walker. My partner, a former tennis player, is also an expert at fetch at the park right next to us. I work from home and barely go out because I am a homebody who loves cuddling and playing with animals all day. I love running and walking near my place and can do it as much as needed. My place is a third-floor townhome plan, and it’s 1,500 sq ft. I don’t leave my place for three hours a day unless there is a special occasion. We have three cats at home who are shy but sweet and wouldn’t ever bother the dog. They are all fully vaccinated, including rabies. We have many hiking trails, beach walks, and parks near our place, so we can go to entertain the dogs as much as they want:) If you allow us, we can take the baby for a beach day too!😉

More specifically I started taking on more responsibilities in pet care when I turned 8. Taking my dog on daily walks, feeding everyday, and picking up their waste in the backyard after I came home from school. Now that I’ve grown up, I have a cat named Georgie which I have learned to care for the last year I’ve had him. Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I am happy to treat them like you would when you can’t. I am currently working remotely. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and with a park nearby for walks, giving me quick and easy access to always be available to let your furry friend out. I have experience with all dog sizes, but I prefer to work with medium to small dogs. If boarding in my own home, I have a cat who is fine with dogs. He tends to keep to himself when around dogs and won’t attack. I’m currently working from home so I have a lot of free time in between applications to play with your furbaby all the time.
