About: Hi all! My name is Charlotte and I just graduated from UCSD. I am born and raised in Newport Beach and have a love for dogs and walking around our beautiful home. I have had multiple dogs growing up and have loved taking care of friends dogs recently! I absolutely adore spending time with them and being outside in general. Let me know if you need any assistance, I'd be more than happy to help. I am available almost every week day for walking and available weekends for house sitting! Feel free to send me a message. I'd love to chat and discuss more specifics. I make sure they always have someone around them to hang out with and give them attention, whether that's walks or just keeping them company. I prioritize sticking to their routine and making sure they have plenty of time to go outside, do their business, and get their energy out!
About: Hi, My name is Natalie. I am a gentle & caring caretaker here to help ease your pet's worries while you are away. As a veterinary technician, I've supported scared animals through some of their most vulnerable hours. I'm known for being abundantly patient & gentle. I help pets feel more comfortable, more secure, reassured, & cared for. I pride myself in paying strong attention to details, which is invaluable in veterinary care & will provide an extra level of supervision for your pet should anything seem amiss or unusual when I arrive. Frequent jogging is a health goal of mine, so whether your pet is a tiny puppy looking for attention, a geriatric needing special tender loving care, or a strong young dog begging to get some of its energy out, I really can help you meet your pet's needs. I recently moved to Orange County & I'm excited to add pet care back into my routine in my new stomping ground. Jogging a few times a week is a health goal of mine, so I look forward to helping energetic dogs get out & moving! Sharing my time petting, caring for & keeping company those pets who are just not happy to be left home alone will be a very fulfilling part of my day. Very old, very young, large, small, & anything in between, I'm here for them. I want your pets to feel happier, more comfortable, less anxious & more reassured by having me there to break up the monotony of their day. Some animals just feel sad being alone, others need help getting out to the grass for a potty break. Some dogs just have more energy than they know what to do with & will be healthier, happier, more well behaved animals for you when you get home, if they've had an opportunity to let off some steam during the day. Your pet's health, safety, & well-being is my top priority. I've been extremely fortunate to grow up with a wide variety of pets, from dogs, cats, rabbit, guinea pig, hamsters, birds, quail, frogs, and fish. I understand that pets can feel more like members of the family than animals. I strive to give your pets the same level of care and respect that you would if you could be there in the moment.
About: I provide personalized care for every stage of a dog's life, with a particular passion for senior care. I understand the unique needs of senior dogs – from administering medication to offering gentle exercise and tailored comfort to keep them feeling their best. Whether it's managing prescriptions, specialized diets, or simply providing extra attention, I'm here to ensure both you and your pup have peace of mind while you're away. I also bring flexibility to my pet-sitting services, as I work from home. I can provide your dog with playtime, walks, or cuddles while you're busy, ensuring your furry friend has a great time while you're away from home. As someone who works from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I enjoy taking frequent walk and play breaks with the pets, which helps both me and the animals stay active and engaged. These breaks provide an opportunity for quality time, exercise, and bonding, ensuring the pets are happy and well-cared for throughout the day. Whether it’s a leisurely walk or a playful game, I make sure to integrate these moments into my schedule, keeping your pet stimulated and content while I work. In your home, I maintain the same level of care as you provide by respecting your pet’s routine and space. I’ll follow your instructions closely, ensuring their daily habits are kept as normal as possible, from feeding times to play sessions. If your pet has special needs, such as medication or medical care, I’m experienced in handling that with great attention to detail and love. Ultimately, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and happy.
“Jordan was the BEST!!! Both my dogs loved her so much! She was in constant communication and left us lovely pictures. Highly recommend Jordan and we will definitely use her services again ?”
“Julie is beyond amazing and I am so grateful for her coming to my rescue at the very last minute and taking such great care of my pups! She sent lots of photos during the walks, let them have playtime in the house like I requested, and gave them so much love! It was my first time using Rover and Julie completely changed my perception of the app based on some nightmare stories my friends went through. I had been out of town and had another dog walker flake on me and was panicking about my dogs being stuck at home until the evening. I literally booked and communicated with her using the plane wifi on my flight home. She was fortunately able to come to my dogs as soon as she saw my request come through. I really appreciated her being extra thorough with all 3 of my dogs and being extra detailed with my instructions. She even asked follow up questions to make sure she was giving the right amount of treats and using the right leash for each dog. They can be quite the handful but she was so patient with them and I can’t thank her enough. Highly recommend Julie if you need a worry and stress-free dog walker who will take care of all your needs!”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every pet like they’re part of my family. As a dog owner myself, I’m used to providing regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure every pet receives the care, exercise, and companionship they need. About: I am a super animal nerd whose feed is covered with animals. I love all different kinds of animals that some people might be scared of. I had all kinds of pets throughout my life, and they lived longer than their life span. I’ve cared for all my family/friends’ dogs since I was little. I’ve been taking care of my aunt’s elderly dog, who is deaf and blind, for a month every year since they could only trust me. I can play and cuddle with them the entire day since I am always home and go out only for exercise. I am the best dog walker since I love running, hiking, and walking near the area, as we have so many good places to do so:) I work from home and barely go out because I am homebody and love cuddling and playing with animals entire day. I love running and walking near my place and can do it as much as needed. My place is a third-floor townhome plan, and it’s 1,500 sq ft. I don’t leave my place for three hours a day unless there is a special occasion. We have three cats at home, so a fur baby who is aggressive towards cats cannot stay at my place. They are all fully vaccinated including rabies, and shy but sweet. We have many hiking trails, beach walks, and parks near our place so we can go to entertain the dogs as much as they want:)
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and educator with a flexible schedule on weekends, holidays, and during the summer. Caring for dogs has always been a passion of mine, and I love providing them with personalized attention, plenty of affection, and a safe, caring environment while you’re away. I have open availability on weekends and holidays, and my schedule is very flexible throughout the summer. I also welcome last-minute booking requests whenever my availability allows. Whether your pup needs a potty break, playtime, feeding, a walk, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to provide personalized care based on their unique routine and needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and any special instructions to ensure they feel comfortable and cared for. For all first-time walk and drop-in bookings, a meet and greet is required to ensure we’re a great match and that your pup feels comfortable with me before services begin. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are current on their vaccinations.

About: Hi there! My name is Charlene and I’ve had experience taking care of dogs since I was 4 from taking care of my family dog Heidi. More specifically I started taking on more responsibilities in pet care when I turned 8. Taking my dog on daily walks, feeding everyday, and picking up their waste in the backyard after I came home from school. Now that I’ve grown up, I have a cat named Georgie which I have learned to care for the last year I’ve had him. Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I am happy to treat them like you would when you can’t. I am currently working remotely. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and with a park nearby for walks, giving me quick and easy access to always be available to let your furry friend out. I have experience with all dog sizes, but I prefer to work with medium to small dogs. If boarding in my own home, I have a cat who is fine with dogs. He tends to keep to himself when around dogs and won’t attack. I’m currently working from home so I have a lot of free time in between applications to play with your furbaby all the time. If there are any special requests please let me know! My number one priority is keeping your pet safe like I would care for my own pets. I will always keep my clients updated with details to ease your mind and to make sure you know that your loved pet is in great hands.

About: I've shared my life with animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with German Shepherds and currently have a senior Husky named Aurora, so I've experienced everything from raising high-energy working dogs to caring for an older dog with changing needs. Those experiences have taught me that no two animals are alike. One of the things I love most about caring for pets is getting to know their individual personalities. Some dogs want to spend every minute playing fetch, while others are happiest taking a slow walk and taking in the world around them. Some cats will curl up beside you immediately, while others prefer to earn your trust on their own terms. I believe great pet care starts with understanding and respecting each animal for who they are rather than expecting them all to be the same. When I'm caring for your pet, my goal isn't just to make sure they're fed and exercised—it's to make sure they feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for while you're away. I pay attention to their routines, quirks, preferences, and body language so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. As a pet owner myself, I understand the trust it takes to leave a beloved animal in someone else's care. Aurora has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting to a pet's unique needs, especially as they get older. Whether I'm caring for an energetic puppy, a large-breed dog, a senior pet, or a cat that needs a little extra patience, I approach every animal with the same respect, attentiveness, and affection I would want for my own. I also offer overnight house sitting and understand that caring for a home is part of caring for a pet. I'm happy to help with small household tasks such as bringing in mail, watering plants, taking out trash bins, and keeping an eye on things while you're away so you can travel with greater peace of mind. I look forward to meeting your pets, learning their personalities, and providing them with a safe, comfortable, and loving experience while you're away. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day. I'm available for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight visits, and I make it a priority to be responsive, reliable, and attentive to each pet's individual needs. For house sitting, I spend quality time with pets and do my best to maintain their normal routine and environment. I understand that consistency is important, and I strive to provide attentive care and regular updates so owners can enjoy peace of mind while they're away. One of the biggest things I've learned from growing up with German Shepherds and caring for my senior Husky, Aurora, is that every animal has their own personality, preferences, and way of communicating. Some pets are immediately social and affectionate, while others take time to build trust. Some thrive on activity and adventure, while others prefer a calm routine and familiar surroundings. When caring for your pet, I take the time to understand what makes them comfortable rather than treating every animal the same way. I pay attention to their body language, habits, energy level, and individual needs so I can provide care that feels familiar, safe, and stress-free. Whether I'm walking your dog, stopping by for a visit, caring for your cat, or house sitting while you're away, my goal is to provide a calm, dependable presence and maintain the routine your pet knows and trusts. For walks, I prioritize safety, use secure leashing practices, stay aware of my surroundings, and adjust the pace and activity level to fit each dog's age, energy level, and comfort. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. During house sitting visits, I'm also happy to help with small household tasks such as bringing in mail, watering plants, and keeping an eye on things while you're away. I believe great pet care is built on patience, consistency, communication, and earning an animal's trust. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for from the moment we meet.

About: I’ve lived in Newport Coast for over 32 years, raised three children, and have spent decades caring for dogs as beloved family members. I’ve had three dogs of my own, each with different needs — including a blind dog, a very active dog, and one who experiences anxiety — which has given me a deep appreciation for patience, gentleness, and consistency. I’m a loving, attentive, and reliable caregiver with a calm presence. I enjoy being outdoors and truly value the one-on-one connection that comes from walking and caring for dogs. Available weekdays. Weekend mornings only, before the sun goes down as needed. Please message me to confirm availability — I’m happy to accommodate when possible. For safety and comfort, I provide services exclusively in your home. This includes dog walks, potty breaks, and drop-in visits. I do not offer boarding or care in my home.

About: I’ve been raised around animals of all kinds since I can remember, my mother regularly raised foster kittens and we had foster dogs constantly in and out of the house. I currently still foster dogs and kittens on my own and am the go to sitter for all my friends and family. Spent years volunteering at shelters and rescues and also worked at a pet store for over a year. Also lover of small critters being a mom of fish, frogs, a hamster, and a spider. I currently work from home selling artwork and crafts so I’m very flexible with my schedule. I can stay all day or even over night and make sure to keep your pet company. I’m an avid hiker so I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a long hike (with permission obviously) or shorter walks around the neighborhood. I would only need to leave for short errands and to feed my own pets if my partner is unable to do so, but majority of time is dedicated to your Pets in your home. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and personalities and can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. If they are shy and need time to warm up, I will do all I can to gain their trust. If they need specialty food or medication, I have my own cats on a strict medication schedule so I’m more than used to it. If they are high energy and need lots of exercise I will make sure to get them up and running around as much as they need. I just want to make sure their lives are just as comfortable as when you are home with them.
About: I have had pets for my entire life (and that's a long time). I have been fostering puppies/dogs and kittens/cats for the last several years. I am now a newly empty nest Mom with a very quiet house. In all my years having family pets, like you are now, I always found a private sitter to care for my animals while I was away. I believe pets are not meant to be boarded if it can be avoided. I am a newly empty nest, stay at home Mom with lots of time, energy and space to care for puppies/dogs and kittens/cats. We have a large, two story home with a fully fenced back yard and side pet door that leads to a fully enclosed run. While in my care your pet(s) will be cared for with love, kindness and consistency from your home to ours. A seamless "vacation" at home.
About: I am a lover of all animals and am lucky enough to currently have two dogs and a cat! I have always been surrounded by animals- horses, dogs, cats, bunnies and currently have two young and active border collies, Bootsy and Booker that are my world and so much fun!. One thing my animals love is consistency and a regular schedule of doing things and I understand that they need that in order to feel comfortable and safe- especially while their humans are away! I am both comfortable with big dogs with lots of energy or mellow little pups who just need some cuddles. Administering medication via pill or liquid form is no problem as I have lots of experience with pet meds. Your furry friends will be in very responsible and loving hands while you are gone! I work from home and own my own candle company so I am super flexible with my schedule. I can do weekdays or weekends- even last minute is usually no problem! Long term stays are also possible. I would love to set up a Meet & Greet so I can get to know you, your animals and what you expect during my stay. Being a neat person, I will always leave your home clean and I have no problem watering plants as well. Currently, I don't offer boarding at my house, but would be happy to come to your house and stay overnight or drop in for play time while you are away- whatever your current situation calls for. I am a detail oriented person and find the little things important for pets- whether it be walking the same walk they do day in and day out, or adding just the right amount of warm chicken stock to their food. I totally get it and am happy to be there for your animals and you!
About: I love all to get all the details, any special scratches, snuggles, cuddles, rubs, hugs or nicknames Fido or Fifi prefers Please Let me Know. I want to provide the same comfort a beloved family member might. Obviously, no one can replace their real Mom or Dad, but I like to try! 4 Paws Up! I have experience administering medications, if necessary. Hopefully it's just walks, fun. snuggles, and maybe a treat or two. 😄 I have a flexible schedule at the moment. I look forward to helping your pets at the appropriate time to keep them healthy and happy. I'll read and reread any notes or instructions left for me, so I can care and keep you fur baby safe and sound. I'm great at keeping an eye on the house, locking up and hanging out with your pets for a good night's sleep. I don't drink and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
About: 🐾 Howdy Hey! Hi! I’m a UCI student, certified EMT, and cat mom who truly understands how important it is to find someone you trust with your cat. I’ve cared for cats throughout my life and currently have a kitten of my own, so I know cats are not “low-maintenance” pets — they have routines, preferences, boundaries, and emotional needs just like dogs do. My goal is to care for your cat with the same patience, attention, and love that I give my own. Whether your cat is playful, shy, curious, cuddly, anxious, senior, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and help them feel safe, respected, and comfortable. 🐱 My Cat Care Philosophy I believe cats deserve enrichment, stimulation, and individualized attention — not just food, water, and a clean litter box. Cats deserve to live their best lives too, and I love creating a calm, engaging environment that supports their natural instincts. Depending on your cat’s personality and comfort level, care may include: • Feeding and fresh water • Litter box maintenance • Playtime with wand toys, toy mice, tunnels, or your cat’s favorite toys • Treat puzzles or simple enrichment activities • Scratching opportunities • Cozy resting spots and calm companionship • Brushing, if your cat enjoys it • Medication support, if instructions are provided • Regular photo updates so you know how your cat is doing I also offer safe indoor bird-watching enrichment. I have a bird-feeding area outside where cats can enjoy “cat TV” from a secure indoor window view. Cats remain fully indoors and safe at all times — this is visual enrichment only, with no outdoor access or contact with wildlife. 🏡 Cat Boarding in My Home For boarding, I aim to create a calm, safe, home-based environment where your cat can settle in without feeling overwhelmed. I keep care intentionally limited so each pet gets focused attention and is not treated like just another booking. Because I have a cat of my own, I do not force cat-to-cat interactions. Your cat’s safety and comfort come first. I can provide a separated space with their own food, water, litter box, cozy resting area, toys, and enrichment. If your cat needs time to decompress, hide, observe, or slowly adjust, I completely respect that. I understand that some cats are social and curious, while others need quiet, patience, and personal space. I’ll follow your cat’s usual routine as closely as possible to help reduce stress while you’re away. 🧼 Cleanliness & Safety I take cleanliness seriously, especially when caring for cats. Litter boxes, food areas, water bowls, surfaces, and shared items are cleaned regularly. I also pay close attention to changes in appetite, litter box habits, energy level, behavior, and overall well-being. My EMT background has made me detail-oriented, calm, and observant, which helps me notice when something seems off and communicate clearly with owners. Before boarding or visits, I like to know about your cat’s: • Feeding schedule • Litter box habits • Medical needs or medications • Favorite toys and enrichment • Hiding spots or comfort items • Personality and handling preferences • Stress triggers • Behavior around other cats The more I know about your cat’s routine, the better I can care for them. 🌿 Outdoor / Catio Policy For safety, I do not provide outdoor roaming, balcony access, or unsupervised outdoor time. Boarding cats will remain indoors in a secure environment. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to follow your cat’s normal routine if they have a fully enclosed, secure catio at home. Catio time must be discussed ahead of time and will only be provided if it is safe, enclosed, and owner-approved. 💬 Communication You can expect clear communication, thoughtful questions, and regular photo updates. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I want you to feel reassured that your cat is safe, comfortable, enriched, and genuinely cared for. Thank you for trusting me with your cat. I’ll treat them with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. As a UCI student and certified EMT, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day (or night). Whether caring for dogs or cats, I strive to keep each pet's routine as consistent as possible while their owner is away. During visits, I provide fresh food and water, exercise or playtime, bathroom or litter box maintenance, enrichment, and companionship tailored to each pet's personality and needs. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment. Every pet has a unique personality, routine, and set of needs. Before each booking, I take time to learn about feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, favorite activities, and any behavioral or medical concerns. As a certified EMT, I'm attentive, calm under pressure, and comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, appetite, activity level, and overall well-being. I understand that dogs and cats thrive when their routines are respected, and I work to create a safe, positive, and low-stress experience while you're away. I also provide regular photo updates and clear communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I have experience pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors, friends, and family, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. I have cared for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, and I am comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away :) I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pets. Since I am available throughout all weekdays and weekends, I can accommodate a variety of schedules, including morning, afternoon, and evening visits. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Every pet has unique needs and routines, so I will follow all care instructions closely to help them feel comfortable and secure. I will provide a calm, loving, and attentive environment and make sure pets always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and supervised care. I will also keep owners updated with messages and photos :)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Joaquin Hills
Bridget has been nothing short of amazing! She goes above and beyond to communicate, take pictures, takes Mr. Bear on different / long walk routes to keep things interesting, and truly treats Bear as if he’s her own. Couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of my canine son 💓

We feel so lucky to have found her! She is truly meant to be a dog walker. You can feel her passion and kindness immediately. She took such great care of Laidy and made sure she got a proper run and lots of love. She’s responsible, communicative, and genuinely cares. We absolutely trust her and would book her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Polina is a dream come true! I needed a dog walker last minute and she responded to my request immediately and was able to come over the next day for a meet and greet. Oliver, our Frenchie, goes nuts when people come to the door, especially strangers. But Polina seemed to be a dog whisperer, as Oliver barked only a couple of times, and she immediately knelt down and snuggled him. He absolutely adored her! We spent 20 minutes chatting about his specific needs and habits during his walks, and I hired her on the spot to take him for his 30 minute walk. I received a video during the walk, and upon return, she talked with me about how the walk went and mutually agreed she would be our dog walker for all future walks. I can't find the words for how comforted I was knowing Oliver adored her and trusted her. She told me that this job (she does this full time - including pet sitting) is a dream come true for her as she is an avid animal lover but can't have animals where she lives. I highly recommend Polina to care for your pets. Don't hesitate...she's the real deal!!

My dogs acted like they knew Allison forever even though she had known them one minute when she walked in the door for their walk. She was calm, patient, and warm spirited, which definitely calm hyperactive Mr. peanut down. She even calmed me down :-) I highly recommend. She was independent navigating difficult parking walk the dogs, Extra and overall a really positive experience. Five stars!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
