About: I am a Coast Guard veteran and retired Corporate Recruiter, my husband and I are empty nesters, and I am available for pet care during the summer. We love all animals and miss having dogs in our lives. My schedule is very flexible for drop in care, walks, or sleepovers. I can also pick up and deliver pets to appointments or to pet care facilities. Since I am local I can pop in or have your baby visit at my home during walks. Lots of exercise or relaxing and cuddling…whatever you would like for your pet. If doing an over-night I start between 4-6PM and will stay until 6-8AM and will provide exercise walks at no extra charge. After meeting and caring for your pet I can also do what I call RLC (Running Late Care) if you happen to be out and about or are having a great time and want to stay out longer, just call me and if I’m available I can drop in for a walk/feeding. I’ve been a pet parent for over 30 years for dogs, cats, hamsters, a lizard, and fish. I have experience with raising puppies and also caring for 3 senior dogs at a time. Being petless at the moment I hope to care and love on your fur babies while you are away! Since I am retired my days are very flexible. I don't have any regularly scheduled appointments and arrange for my activities between pet care bookings. While your pet is at my home we can go on walks, head to the nearby dog park, or nap in the sun on my large fenced in patio. Cuddling is also on the schedule inside where it's cool. If your baby cannot be left alone, between myself and my husband, someone will always be home with them. I do volunteer work, craft projects, read, and do computer projects remotely so can stay with your fur baby at your home. I live locally and my retired husband is also available as a back up or in case or emergencies. For doggie day care our home is pet proofed, no toxic plants or other animals. When home sitting at your place, I bring an air mattress and my own bedding, you won't even know I was there!
