About: I've grown up with cats and dogs all my life and currently have two cats of my own that I've had for years. I am familiar and comfortable with taking care of pets of all sizes and have done pet sitting for neighbors in the past :) I am currently available full time to focus and care for any pets requiring sitting and can dedicate extra time to those that need extra assistance I am able to follow the requests and directions given for ways certain pets may need to be taken care of. I also do my best to ensure they are comfortable and not stressed or upset
About: I have always cared for pets and am a sincere lover of animals. Growing up, my family would foster shelter dogs so I am used to interacting with different dog personalities and breeds. Professionally, I have been a pet sitter for all kinds of pets for 5 years and 3 years on Rover. I have experience working with senior pets, pets with health conditions, and pets with special needs or behavioral challenges. I have received positive feedback that I get along well with even the most skittish or antisocial animals! I have a very calm and patient demeanor and can easily build trust with animals. Safety and wellbeing are my top priority, which is why I am certified in pet CPR and First Aid. I am also currently working on certification for pet training. I care deeply about providing high quality service and ensuring your pets are as comfortable and well cared for as possible. I know inviting a stranger into your home and trusting them to care for your precious furry ones takes a lot of trust, and I do my best to maintain that trust by providing transparent and regular communication. I will care for your pets as if they were my own fur babies! I currently work a remote job so my availability is very open and flexible. I have regular availability during the week day, evenings and weekends. I am happy to work with you to develop a schedule that you are comfortable with and that meets your pets' specific needs. I always aim to spend plenty of quality time with your pets so they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I will come to you in your home and provide the convenience of caring for your pet in the environment they are most familiar with and comfortable in. I know animals thrive with a consistent routine, so I will follow your pet care instructions thoroughly. I care about meeting your pets' specific needs, so I will adapt my service to accommodate any specific requests or concerns. I will also ensure your home is just as tidy as you left it.
“Sahara is amazing and goes above and beyond! She is kind, punctual, communicates well and attends to your dog’s individual needs. My dog Milo is soooo happy when Sahara picks him up. And I am at ease knowing he is well taken care of. Thank you so much! We are grateful to have found you!”

About: Hi, I’m Lisa! For the past 15 years, I had the joy of raising my sweet Australian Cattle Dog, Gondola. She was my heart, my hiking buddy, and my constant shadow. Sadly, she recently crossed the rainbow bridge at age 15. While I’m not quite ready to adopt again, I can’t imagine life without dogs. That’s why I’d love to open my home and my heart to care for yours. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy, a senior who needs extra patience, or anything in between—I understand the love, attention, and gentle care every dog deserves. Dogs in my care will get: • Lots of love, cuddles, and attention • Playtime and walks suited to their energy level • A calm, safe environment where they feel at home I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. I promise to treat your pup like family—because that’s what dogs are. 💛 Let me give your dog the care, companionship, and love they deserve while you’re away. I work from home so can tend to your pets and take them from walks multiple times a day. They will not be alone during the day. I have a gated front patio and access to parks around my neighborhood. I also live close to dog beach if your dog likes to play in the sand.

About: Hi everyone I’m new to Rover but I would love to give your dog the best day ever! I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs my entire life as my background. Now I have two mini dachshunds of my own that are the sweetest and goofy boys. I took time off work when I got chili (first pup) to ensure he was trained from day one and well taken care of. Went back to work for another year and now have decided to quit my corporate job because I wasn’t fulfilled to now pursue this career full time. Since I’m new I have cheap prices to build myself up but my goal is to start my own doggy day care full time. If you can help me with my dream that would be so appreciated! Please reach out if you have any questions, I will be happy to connect. :) I have a dog of my own so taking care of him everyday and any minute I’m home. I have a hybrid job so depending on the day but he is walked before I leave and as soon as I get back. I always make sure he is fed, walked, played with, and he gets tons of cuddles more than he probably wants. I will care for them in every way that the owner says or the pets needs. I’m structured, understanding, and flexible. If you leave me a list of to do or specific requirements I will make sure they get done and on time. I’m healthy young adult who has no problem playing or taking a dog on a long walk.
“We appreciate Shena so much!! 🥰 She’s kind and communicate. Her updates are always great and bring me so much joy. She’s been walking our pup Cash for 8 months now and he adores her! 🩵”

“Meamea was very flexible, punctual, professional and has a true love for all pets. She was great with Kirby and I enjoyed her positive attitude and outlook on like. I highly recommend her.”

About: I've had animals my entire life. I got my first kitten at age five, and my family always had dogs, cats, fish, chickens, cows, pigs, and horses so I’m comfortable with all types of animals and personalities. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and I’m excited at the chance to get to know and play with yours! I work full-time Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, but mostly remotely, so I'm flexible throughout the week days and I'm fully open on weekends. I'm attentive, patient, and treat every pet with the same love and care I give my own. My biggest concern is making sure your animal is happy and getting everything they may need and want.
“Zackary and Mayumi were so sweet. If I could rate them six stars I would. They immediately felt like good friends and we knew we could trust them with our babies. They were so communicative and they’re our new neighborhood go-to’s :)”

“Dayna has been amazing! We have used her now a few times to check in and walk our 2 chihuahuas. They love her and she always does a great job of capturing precious moments and sending us the details of the visit. Can’t wait to book her again!”

About: For the first time in 23 years I am living without a dog. I have had anywhere from my last solo pup to a pack of 4. I have gone through training with previous dogs so have experience with commands and reactive walkers. I have done dog sitting in other people’s homes, in my own, as well as drop ins and walks. Most of all I love dogs and am not quite ready to adopt again, but would love to help you with yours! I work for myself from home so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available most days and times depending on what you need. I have a spacious apartment that your pet will have free range of. There is no fenced yard, but I am in a very walkable neighborhood with parks nearby. And if your dog likes the beach I am just a short distance to Huntington Dog Beach.

About: I’m very attentive to routines, body language, and energy levels, and I tailor care to each dog rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training (crate training, leash manners, potty routines) and helping puppies build confidence, while also providing senior dogs with slower walks, medication support, and a peaceful environment I’m currently working part-time. It will fit in the in between of times of my day, either in the mornings or the evenings and some days the afternoons. I have a fenced in backyard, with two fur babies at home as well. We have a wonderful home located in a cul de sac.
About: Dogs and cats have held a special place in my heart since I was little which has led to me working on my education to pursue veterinary medicine. Their wellbeing is my biggest priority! My happiness comes from seeing animals well taken care of and thriving 🐾 I have several years of volunteer hours spent with cats and 2+ years of dog and cat care at pet hotels and daycares. As I navigate my education I wanted a way to do that in a way that was right for me so I decided to take up pet sitting!! I am currently going to college Mondays-Thursdays; 12:45pm to 5:40pm Mondays and Wednesdays, and 11:10am to ~2:25pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have all day availability on Friday through Sunday! :) My care style is personalized to every pet I meet. Depending on the needs of your furbaby I can adjust my routine and services accordingly!!

About: I’ve had animals both cats and dogs since I was a little kid. Dogs and cats can instantly respond and know they are safe with a person who genuinely cares about their wellbeing. Looking to help a few days a week in HB or surrounding areas to make money for bills. Pets fit naturally into my routine as a freelancer, adding structure and balance to my flexible schedule. Having cared for big pets before, I’m confident managing their needs, from regular walks to feeding and attention. Working from home allows me to be present and attentive, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. Most importantly, my genuine love for animals makes having them around both enjoyable and rewarding. You can trust me to be reliable with your pets, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routines while providing attentive care, patience, and genuine love at all times.
“LOVE him! Used Jonathon as a dog walker after a minor injury. Great communication and flexibility on timing. But most important, our dog loved him. When he can back the second day, or dog ran over to him as soon as he saw him, eager to go on another walk. Highly recommend.”

“Best dog walker ever. My fur babies were so happy to see Shannon every time she went over for their walks. Shannon is reliable and will take time to play with your fur babies”

Elise was a breath of fresh air! I recently moved to Fountain Valley, and my biggest concern was finding someone reliable, trustworthy, and caring to walk my dog (or my whole world, if you prefer). I travel frequently for work and need this service quite often. I met Elise, and she cares for my pup when I’m away. She is a 10-star professional! I can now go on work trips without worrying about my dog, and that’s a huge statement. She’s absolutely amazing!

Joseph was great with Bowser. He took my advice on how to meet my pup and everything went great! When I asked how things were Joseph got back quickly and reassured me he and Bowser had a good walk. Thank you Joseph for giving him the exercise he needed while we were away.

Jared has been wonderful with our anxious little dog, Noodle! He took the time to sit down and meet her while we chatted about her behavior and needs, and patiently gave her the space to get comfortable with him. He is clearly passionate about his work with pets, and I feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in his good hands. Will definitely be booking more session!

I am SO happy that I made the decision to try out Rover. Skyler is an absolute gem. My Siberian Husky and Chihuahua are difficult dogs to deal with (and do not trust many people), but they LOVE Skyler! They look forward to their play time at the nearby dog park and their walks with her. I have seen a huge change in their behavior ever since she started walking them routinely during the week, while I’m at work. Skyler is flexible, quick with responding, understanding, reliable, punctual, and passionate about animals! I am so grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone! 10/10. A+.

Michelle was great throughout the process, from the initial meet and greet to the first walk with Buster. Buster is very shy and Michelle made a point to be take things slowly with him. She remembered all the details of the house as well. I definitely plan on using Michelle again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
