About: Hi there, my name is Amanda and I’m so excited to care for your pet! I just moved to OC in the last few months and am looking to build up my Rover clientele. I’m in school at the moment to become an elementary school teacher and am hoping to get some supplemental income (plug some dog and cat snuggles!!). Growing up with cats, I’ve taken care of them from a young age. However, I love and have experience with dogs as well. I’m looking forward to getting to know your pet! Feel free to reach out with any questions and I hope to hear from you soon. My teacher credentialing program is fully online so I can be flexible with my times for visits throughout the day. I will do my best to accommodate last minute requests. I’m also happy to schedule a meetup if you’d like! I will follow any directions and instructions left word for word. I will also make sure to send daily updates so you can vacation / be away from home stress-free!
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, they truly make my world. Over the years i’ve cared for a variety of breeds, from chihuahua to german shepherd. Whether they are active and calm or big and small, I understand the unique needs of each. As a cat owner, I know the respect and attention they require and i’m always happy to offer the care they deserve. Whether that includes using me as their personal throne or haunting me from the other side of the room. As an athlete, i’m more than happy to take dogs on runs to burn some energy and get them (and me) out of the house. Whether your pet needs a companion or someone go run a marathon with (although I admittedly am not THAT motivated), I am happy to do it! I am currently getting a masters degree in clinical psychology and all my classes are evening. I also coach a volleyball team in evenings as well. Anything morning to afternoon is preferred. If you need evening care, we can definitely communicate! I have been in various different living situations and environments with animals. Whether they have a strict eating schedule or an important walk time, I am capable to do what you need. I have worked with dogs that need to be crated or continuously watched. Whatever makes you feel most comfortable while you are away, I am happy to do.

“Dayna was awesome… She came over for an initial meet & greet. We was very communicative, sent pictures & videos while on the walk, and brought my Rottweiler & Pug home completely exhausted, which was the goal! 👏 I would highly recommend Dayna!”

About: I have always cared for pets and am a sincere lover of animals. Growing up, my family would foster shelter dogs so I am used to interacting with different dog personalities and breeds. Professionally, I have been a pet sitter for all kinds of pets for 5 years and 3 years on Rover. I have experience working with senior pets, pets with health conditions, and pets with special needs or behavioral challenges. I have received positive feedback that I get along well with even the most skittish or antisocial animals! I have a very calm and patient demeanor and can easily build trust with animals. Safety and wellbeing are my top priority, which is why I am certified in pet CPR and First Aid. I am also currently working on certification for pet training. I care deeply about providing high quality service and ensuring your pets are as comfortable and well cared for as possible. I know inviting a stranger into your home and trusting them to care for your precious furry ones takes a lot of trust, and I do my best to maintain that trust by providing transparent and regular communication. I will care for your pets as if they were my own fur babies! I currently work a remote job so my availability is very open and flexible. I have regular availability during the week day, evenings and weekends. I am happy to work with you to develop a schedule that you are comfortable with and that meets your pets' specific needs. I always aim to spend plenty of quality time with your pets so they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I will come to you in your home and provide the convenience of caring for your pet in the environment they are most familiar with and comfortable in. I know animals thrive with a consistent routine, so I will follow your pet care instructions thoroughly. I care about meeting your pets' specific needs, so I will adapt my service to accommodate any specific requests or concerns. I will also ensure your home is just as tidy as you left it.

Joseph was great with Bowser. He took my advice on how to meet my pup and everything went great! When I asked how things were Joseph got back quickly and reassured me he and Bowser had a good walk. Thank you Joseph for giving him the exercise he needed while we were away.

Jared has been wonderful with our anxious little dog, Noodle! He took the time to sit down and meet her while we chatted about her behavior and needs, and patiently gave her the space to get comfortable with him. He is clearly passionate about his work with pets, and I feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in his good hands. Will definitely be booking more session!

I am SO happy that I made the decision to try out Rover. Skyler is an absolute gem. My Siberian Husky and Chihuahua are difficult dogs to deal with (and do not trust many people), but they LOVE Skyler! They look forward to their play time at the nearby dog park and their walks with her. I have seen a huge change in their behavior ever since she started walking them routinely during the week, while I’m at work. Skyler is flexible, quick with responding, understanding, reliable, punctual, and passionate about animals! I am so grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone! 10/10. A+.

Michelle was great throughout the process, from the initial meet and greet to the first walk with Buster. Buster is very shy and Michelle made a point to be take things slowly with him. She remembered all the details of the house as well. I definitely plan on using Michelle again in the future.

Alexa has been fantastic! Her communication is very thorough and detailed and she is very organized for reoccurring dog walks. She is also flexible is there’s a schedule change. Alexa is also very accommodating for reactive dogs and handles Luna with extra caution. 10/10 !
LOVE him! Used Jonathon as a dog walker after a minor injury. Great communication and flexibility on timing. But most important, our dog loved him. When he can back the second day, or dog ran over to him as soon as he saw him, eager to go on another walk. Highly recommend.

This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about leaving my dogs with someone new. But Alexandra immediately seemed sweet, trustworthy, and a true dog lover, and I’m so glad I trusted her! She sent photos during the walk, followed all their needs perfectly, and was super punctual, communicative, and reliable. She even brought a package inside for me. Such a great experience, I definitely recommend her!

Elise came early to walk Bella, to give herself a chance to meet her first. Bella, a year old Ratchi, has lots of energy. She bonded almost immediately with Elise. I watched them go to the park, and Bella did great. Elise gave me a full report later that day. I was very happy with Elise. She was responsible, great with Bella, and I will definitely use her dog walking and pet sitting in the future.

Megan was an absolute dream to work with. She not only responded quickly and we’re super professional, but she took such loving care of our fur baby. She even spent a little extra time with her. Can’t say enough good things, but will definitely be using her again anytime we are in the area.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
