About: I have always cared for pets and am a sincere lover of animals. Growing up, my family would foster shelter dogs so I am used to interacting with different dog personalities and breeds. Professionally, I have been a pet sitter for all kinds of pets for 5 years and 3 years on Rover. I have experience working with senior pets, pets with health conditions, and pets with special needs or behavioral challenges. I have received positive feedback that I get along well with even the most skittish or antisocial animals! I have a very calm and patient demeanor and can easily build trust with animals. Safety and wellbeing are my top priority, which is why I am certified in pet CPR and First Aid. I am also currently working on certification for pet training. I care deeply about providing high quality service and ensuring your pets are as comfortable and well cared for as possible. I know inviting a stranger into your home and trusting them to care for your precious furry ones takes a lot of trust, and I do my best to maintain that trust by providing transparent and regular communication. I love walks, dog park adventures, and spending quality time with dogs of all ages, including puppies! I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I give my own! I have a flexible schedule, so I’m free to walk your pups most days and times! Most weeks, I am available at any, and I can do mornings, afternoons, or evenings. My Experience 🐾 I’ve fostered hundreds of cats from all areas of life and socialization stages. From newborns to elderly cats, pregnant mothers/in labor, cats with disabilities and feral rescues in need of socialization. I can proudly say every cat I've fostered has always gone to a forever home and it warms my heart to see rescued animals become friendly and sociable with humans. I worked as a vet assistant during my time in college for Community Mobile Vet in Santa Cruz. My job consisted of handling cats and dogs of various sizes, as well as birds and other animals, which included administering medication and claw clipping. Services 🦮 I am experienced in bottle feeding, giving medication, cleaning up waste, basic grooming, claw clipping, exercise, and socialization of cats/dogs of various sizes/ages/abilities. Contacting me 📞 You can call/text me through this website and I should reply shortly. I am flexible and available all days of the week! Weekends may differ, but please always check my calendar for availability! My family and I have been deeply invested in animal welfare and care since I was young. I no longer live with my family and I miss the joy of being around animals and taking care of my own pets and foster pets, I love to meet and care for other people’s pets! Having been a vet assistant and fostering hundreds of cats, I have to be prepared for the unexpected and take precautions with every animal I meet. It's extremely important to be aware of any triggers or risks in an environment so I can be accommodating to the pet I am caring for. I like to provide a very friendly and attentive environment where I can gauge their needs at any given moment. This includes being accommodating to a pet’s social/behavioral needs and giving them the space to warm up to me.

About: I’ve loved and been around dogs my entire life and caring for them truly comes second nature to me. I grew up in an animal loving home and had my own dog Leo for 12 amazing years, so I understand firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your furry baby in someone else’s care. I treat every dog like my own and always focus on making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I also volunteer regularly at animal rescues and shelters, where I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. This has given me hands on experience with everything from energetic puppies to shy or anxious dogs who need a little extra care and confidence building. I personally trained my own dog from a young age, so I’m comfortable reinforcing basic commands, maintaining routines, and handling different behaviors calmly and confidently. Whether your pup needs fun, an active walk, a little structure, or just extra snuggles and reassurance, I’m happy to tailor care to their unique personality. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to detail—I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved every step of the way. I work from home doing wedding and event design, which gives me a flexible, laid back schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog! I love getting outside, whether it’s a leisurely neighborhood stroll or an energetic beach walk, and I enjoy making every outing fun and safe. Being home most of the day also means your pup will have company, attention, and plenty of love whenever they need it. I live in an extremely dog friendly apartment community right across from the beach, with two fully enclosed dog parks one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs plus multiple clean potty areas. My home is on the 3rd floor with elevators, so stairs aren’t an issue if your dog prefers to avoid them. Inside, we have plenty of space for your dog to feel comfortable, whether they like a large dog bed, a crate, or just room to lounge. We also have a dog door that leads to a spacious patio where your pup can safely relax and soak up the sun. I prioritize safety at all times, whether we’re on walks, at the dog parks, or hanging out at home. Your dog will always be supervised, cared for, and comfortable in a secure environment.

Jared has been wonderful with our anxious little dog, Noodle! He took the time to sit down and meet her while we chatted about her behavior and needs, and patiently gave her the space to get comfortable with him. He is clearly passionate about his work with pets, and I feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in his good hands. Will definitely be booking more session!

I am SO happy that I made the decision to try out Rover. Skyler is an absolute gem. My Siberian Husky and Chihuahua are difficult dogs to deal with (and do not trust many people), but they LOVE Skyler! They look forward to their play time at the nearby dog park and their walks with her. I have seen a huge change in their behavior ever since she started walking them routinely during the week, while I’m at work. Skyler is flexible, quick with responding, understanding, reliable, punctual, and passionate about animals! I am so grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone! 10/10. A+.

Michelle was great throughout the process, from the initial meet and greet to the first walk with Buster. Buster is very shy and Michelle made a point to be take things slowly with him. She remembered all the details of the house as well. I definitely plan on using Michelle again in the future.

Alexa has been fantastic! Her communication is very thorough and detailed and she is very organized for reoccurring dog walks. She is also flexible is there’s a schedule change. Alexa is also very accommodating for reactive dogs and handles Luna with extra caution. 10/10 !
LOVE him! Used Jonathon as a dog walker after a minor injury. Great communication and flexibility on timing. But most important, our dog loved him. When he can back the second day, or dog ran over to him as soon as he saw him, eager to go on another walk. Highly recommend.

This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about leaving my dogs with someone new. But Alexandra immediately seemed sweet, trustworthy, and a true dog lover, and I’m so glad I trusted her! She sent photos during the walk, followed all their needs perfectly, and was super punctual, communicative, and reliable. She even brought a package inside for me. Such a great experience, I definitely recommend her!

Elise came early to walk Bella, to give herself a chance to meet her first. Bella, a year old Ratchi, has lots of energy. She bonded almost immediately with Elise. I watched them go to the park, and Bella did great. Elise gave me a full report later that day. I was very happy with Elise. She was responsible, great with Bella, and I will definitely use her dog walking and pet sitting in the future.

Megan was an absolute dream to work with. She not only responded quickly and we’re super professional, but she took such loving care of our fur baby. She even spent a little extra time with her. Can’t say enough good things, but will definitely be using her again anytime we are in the area.

Darla was great! She was attentive to my puppy’s needs. She took her time with Briar, always kept me updated on how she was doing. I felt comfortable that Briar was being well cared for. She even spent time working on commands with Briar. Overall a great experience!
