About: Hello ! I have professional experience working with dogs as a former Jr dog groomer and currently have two dogs of my own. I also have experience with puppies, adults, and senior dogs as well as basic training and knowledge of overall health due to personal experiences. I currently am not working right now so my schedule is pretty flexible so I’m able to attend, play, and spend time with your fur baby(s) 🐶🐱 I am very good at following directions so if you have a specific instruction on how you’d like me to take care of your baby, I’ll do exactly as I am told.
“Megan was so prompt in replying for a last minute day of 60 minute walk for our golden retriever Maisy while we are in town for a month visiting my Dad. So grateful!”

“I am new to Rover and Annalie was the first dog walker I booked. She is prompt, kind, & polite. Sulu was comfortable with her right away. I will definitely book with her again when needed in the future!”

“Very happy with Quang’s service. I contacted him last second to walk my dog, as I couldn’t that day, and he came through with little notice. He seemed to do a great job handling my Jake, who is very reactive and energetic.”

About: My skills are only taking the dogs a bath and taking them on walks, and I play with them as well I give all my attention to them. I start my morning early and that’s when I start my walking, then I come back and have my breakfast, so I will have plenty of time to care for a dog. The care I would give is just giving them attention and making sure their area is always cleaned. Taking them on walks and playing with them!
“Sarah is super accommodating and extremely kind! She treated our puppy as her own and spoiled her with lots of snuggles. We even felt comfortable enough to extend our vacation because we knew our puppy was in the very best hands while we were away!”

About: I’ve been a pet caregiver for decades! My love for animals began at the young age of 5! From reptiles to hairless cats to big and small, young and older pups! I love every living creature this world holds! I currently take online classes which allows me to go from point A and B, C and D with no problem. I am fully available on weekends and very flexible Monday-Friday With my many years of experience, I have mastered securing the pets safety first always! Making sure leashes, collars and or harness are secure before opening any doors or gates. A pets safety is and will always be my priority!

About: Hi! I’m a current veterinary student and lifelong animal lover with professional experience in veterinary medicine since 2019. Over the years, I’ve worked in several vet med roles and gained experience handling pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve also fostered animals and volunteered at local shelters, which has strengthened my passion for providing patient, compassionate care to every animal I meet. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. With my veterinary background, you can feel confident knowing your pet is in knowledgeable and caring hands! I’m completing a few externships this summer, but otherwise I’m available most days and have a flexible schedule until I return to school in mid-August. I’ll care for your pet in your home by following their regular routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.
“Naomy was super flexible in helping us regarding the walk. Yuna was happy to see her upon her arrival and really enjoyed the walk. Would definitely book Naomy for many upcoming walks and recommend her for others!”

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. Around age 13 I started dog walking and by 15 I was constantly pet sitting. I'm a full-time college student with classes Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Outside of my school schedule I have a flexible availability and can provide reliable pet care throughout the day, evenings, and most weekends. When caring for your pets I guarantee a safe and clean environment. Whatever the pet needs I'm willing to accommodate to ensure a seamless stay while your gone.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong, hands-on experience with animals. I’ve helped care for my dog since she was a puppy, which gave me early and consistent experience with feeding, training, and understanding a pet’s needs at every stage of life. I also currently care for a cat, so I’m familiar with daily routines, behavior differences, and providing attentive, responsible care for different types of pets. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work a part-time job with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for pets. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or providing companionship, I can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s needs. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive the attention, care, and consistency they deserve. I care for pets by providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. Whether I am caring for them in my home or in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets are supervised, protected, and given plenty of attention and affection. My goal is to help them feel secure, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“I can't thank Sarah enough for taking such great care of Luna while I was away. Luna was happy, well-exercised, and even seemed calmer when I returned. Sarah kept me updated with photos and notes, which gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend Sarah’s services!”

About: I have a large dog of my own for reference he’s a german shepherd, pitbull, mastiff mix. He is a big boy as you can imagine and I have had him for 9 years and know how to handle dogs from small to big. I am not scared of dogs in the slightest and can handle large dogs on walks. I work part time as a server so I have plenty of extra time on my hands. I love to get out and be active and what better way then to walk pets in the mean time. My dog has his own fenced yard to get activity in but we also take him on morning and nightly walks. He gets enrichment all the time but his favorite is to take a long nap which fits him well since his name is spud like a potato.
About: I've been caring for dogs for over 19 years and understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, including administering medications, following special feeding instructions, and providing extra patience and attention for older dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pet. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I'll treat your dog like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm attentive to details, reliable with communication, and happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I currently have a flexible part time job that allows me the freedom to care for your pet on my off days! My job fluctuates weekly but is flexible on requesting days off so I could easily work around that to ensure I have time to spend with your furry kids! As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize safety, patience, and kindness at all times. I’m attentive to routines, comfortable administering medications if needed, and happy to provide updates and photos throughout each visit. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free. I have a fenced yard but also would be able to take them on walks as needed.
About: What sets me apart is my attentiveness and reliability. I understand how important it is for pets to stay on a consistent routine, so I prioritize feeding on time, following instructions carefully, and maintaining the structure they’re used to. I pay close attention to behavior changes and small details that others might overlook. As a pet owner myself, I approach every animal with patience, care, and respect for their individual personality. Whether it’s sticking to specific feeding schedules, reinforcing basic training cues, or providing gentle support for senior pets who need a calmer pace, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine. As a student, I spend a good portion of the day studying, so taking walks in the afternoon or evening is something I already prioritize as a healthy break. Incorporating dog walks during that time works perfectly and gives me a structured way to stay active while also providing pets with exercise and enrichment. Because I plan my study schedule in blocks, I’m able to be consistent and intentional with care visits. I enjoy having that balance in my week — caring for pets is a great mental reset while still allowing me to stay organized and responsible with my academic commitments. In my home, I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-safe environment. I follow each pet’s established feeding schedule, litter/ potty routine, and activity needs. I supervise interactions closely and make sure pets have their own safe space to decompress if needed. I prioritize enrichment through interactive play, mental stimulation, and affection while also respecting their boundaries and comfort levels. In a client’s home, I aim to keep pets on their normal routine to reduce stress. I carefully follow written instructions regarding feeding, medications (if applicable), exercise, and any specific behavioral needs. I provide regular updates with photos and detailed check-ins so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I also maintain the cleanliness and security of the home during my visits. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and my commitment to treating every pet like family. I understand that every dog has unique needs, whether they’re an energetic puppy, an active adult, or a senior dog who requires extra patience and care. I’m attentive, dependable, and focused on making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I enjoy maintaining routines, providing plenty of exercise and playtime, and giving lots of affection. I also believe in regular communication, so you’ll receive updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is to create a positive experience for both you and your dog, ensuring they receive the same care and attention I would want for my own pets. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and companionship. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to. Whether your dog needs exercise, cuddles, or simply someone reliable to keep them company, I can make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve while you’re away. I also prioritize keeping pet owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their furry family member is in good hands. I provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while keeping their environment clean and secure. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel connected and reassured while they’re away. If caring for a pet in my home, I ensure they have a comfortable space to relax, plenty of supervised activity, fresh water, and lots of positive interaction throughout the day. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and at ease, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Garden Grove
Ivi has been great with my dog, Rocky. She’s very communicative and shares a lot of updates about Rocky during their walk. I appreciate her flexibility and open communication! Rocky can be a bit of a handful (very energetic) and she’s been able to manage walking him while handling a stroller.

Silvi was absolutely wonderful with our dog Ellie! She took such great care of her and made sure Ellie felt comfortable, loved, and well looked after the entire time. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Ellie was in such caring hands. We truly appreciate the attention, kindness, and responsibility Silvi showed, and we would happily book with her again. Highly recommend! 🐾💛

Paloma is an absolutely amazing dog walker! I loved all the photos and videos she shared — it gave me such peace of mind knowing Chance was in great hands while I was away. He can be a little stubborn on walks since he likes to go his own way, but Paloma handled him effortlessly and made it look easy. I couldn’t be happier with the care she gave!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
