About: Caring for dogs has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I grew up with dogs in my house and also helping neighbors and friends with their pets, learning early on how to handle different temperaments with patience and care. I’m a local resident who knows the best trails around Fountain Valley, and I treat every dog I walk as if they were my own. You can count on me for regular updates and a safe, fun experience for your pet. I am a local sports coach with a very consistent schedule. I dedicate my mornings and early afternoons entirely to pet care, which means your dog or cat will have my full, undivided attention when most people are stuck at work. I am available for walks and visits every weekday morning starting at 7:00 AM, ensuring your pet gets their exercise and potty breaks right on time before my coaching sessions begin in the late afternoon. Safety and structure are my top priorities. My approach is based on clear communication and reliability—traits I’ve developed through years of professional coaching. When in a client's home, I am extremely respectful of the space, ensuring all doors are secure and the environment stays clean. I provide real-time GPS updates and photos for every walk. I am also very comfortable handling large, powerful breeds that require a firm but calm lead during outdoor exercise.
“Mike was great— responsive, communicative and dedicated to taking care of Bear while I was at work despite the heavy rain! He was also flexible enough to do a last minute meet and greet before work, which was much appreciated!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and a proud dog parent to Ollie and Shiloh. Having a multi-dog household has taught me how to read canine body language, manage different temperaments, and keep a fun, safe, and structured environment. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, and I am highly experienced in following specific feeding routines, dispensing medications, and giving lots of belly rubs! After 10+ years of successfully caring for children, I am bringing my reliability, patience, and energy to pet care! Whether your dog needs a brisk midday walk or some extra outdoor playtime, my flexible schedule allows me to give them the attention and exercise they need. I know how to stick to routines, communicate clearly with owners, and handle unexpected situations with a calm demeanor. Just like people, dogs need to feel emotionally secure. I make sure your dog knows their feelings are valid and that I am a safe, predictable person they can always rely on. Here’s a random fact about me: I brush my dog’s teeth every night. I’ve been doing it for 5 years, basically his entire life. The best part? The vet actually pulled me aside and complimented me on my dedication, so now I feel completely vindicated. I love my dog so deeply, and I realized one day that his capacity to feel joy, pain, and love isn't really any different from a pig's or a cow's. I couldn't justify loving one and eating the other.

Jared has been wonderful with our anxious little dog, Noodle! He took the time to sit down and meet her while we chatted about her behavior and needs, and patiently gave her the space to get comfortable with him. He is clearly passionate about his work with pets, and I feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in his good hands. Will definitely be booking more session!

I am SO happy that I made the decision to try out Rover. Skyler is an absolute gem. My Siberian Husky and Chihuahua are difficult dogs to deal with (and do not trust many people), but they LOVE Skyler! They look forward to their play time at the nearby dog park and their walks with her. I have seen a huge change in their behavior ever since she started walking them routinely during the week, while I’m at work. Skyler is flexible, quick with responding, understanding, reliable, punctual, and passionate about animals! I am so grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone! 10/10. A+.

Michelle was great throughout the process, from the initial meet and greet to the first walk with Buster. Buster is very shy and Michelle made a point to be take things slowly with him. She remembered all the details of the house as well. I definitely plan on using Michelle again in the future.

This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about leaving my dogs with someone new. But Alexandra immediately seemed sweet, trustworthy, and a true dog lover, and I’m so glad I trusted her! She sent photos during the walk, followed all their needs perfectly, and was super punctual, communicative, and reliable. She even brought a package inside for me. Such a great experience, I definitely recommend her!

Elise came early to walk Bella, to give herself a chance to meet her first. Bella, a year old Ratchi, has lots of energy. She bonded almost immediately with Elise. I watched them go to the park, and Bella did great. Elise gave me a full report later that day. I was very happy with Elise. She was responsible, great with Bella, and I will definitely use her dog walking and pet sitting in the future.
