Easy going, dog loving guy
I grew up with dogs around me and have been raised, pet -sitted and cared for all ages and a variety of breeds. I raised and trained a boxer and was cared for him at the end when needed special care so I understand the requirements for caring for young and older dogs. I currently live with an older dog who much prefers laying on the couch rather than going for walks so I'm happy to stretch my legs with other dogs!

I understand that most pets like the comforts and routines of their homes. They're familiar with the noises and smells and know how they can signal when they want something. I will make things easier by keeping feeding times and potty/walk breaks consistent with their schedule provided. As a guest I will always respect house rules and will expect an open line of communication with the pet parents.

Was able to walk my dog last minute! Did a great job
Mike was great— responsive, communicative and dedicated to taking care of Bear while I was at work despite the heavy rain! He was also flexible enough to do a last minute meet and greet before work, which was much appreciated!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Mike for several years now, and I can confidently say that he’s somebody I trust with my dogs full stop. Knowing his background, he comes from a family of dog lovers, and has lived all over. I mention that, because as we all know, even having your own dog in different environments can be challenging sometimes. And it has only added to his experience and feeling comfortable walking dogs just about anywhere. A seasoned vet, if you will. Anytime Mike has had my dogs over the years, he’s greeted with a case of the wiggle butts, and you know they’re getting those belly rubs. I’ve never seen a dog not love him.
Mike is the ultimate dog lover. As a lifelong dog owner he is experienced in taking care of dogs, from walking, play time to overnight pet sitting. I would trust him with my own dog, and I am very picky about who I let watch my baby.

Schedule
I have a full-time hybrid job with somewhat flexible hours, allowing me to work from home but also have a short commute to Costa Mesa. On the days I make myself available, I am fully available to taking care of your pet!
