“Diana was wonderful with Cooper! She sent many pictures and videos for us to see him. Even when he had a bit of a tummy issue she went above and beyond making special food for him. He seemed very happy and comfortable in her home. I would definitely recommend her. We will definitely book her again when we go away.”

“Nikole was awesome!!! She sent pictures everyday !! And Gypsy felt comfortable there!! She took great care of her !! Nikole will be my go to when we travel !! I did like that Gypsy was the only dog while at there house ! Not that Gypsy doesn’t get along with other dogs. I’m just not sure in a home setting! But Nikole did her best and we appreciate her and this service !! Thank you Rover!!!”

“We had a last minute trip & requested Sunny the morning of! She was very accommodating & we really appreciate her flexibility & love for our pup! Lots of walks & play time!”
“Teri is wonderful. She took great care of my puppy while I was on a family vacation. Harley, my pup, was only 10 weeks at the time and not fully potty trained or crate trained. Teri worked with him on both and he made a lot of improvement. Teri is professional, caring, and skilled. I highly recommend her. She goes above and beyond. Thanks!”

“Josefina was responsive and took good care of Harry my pup. Glad to hear he was not reactive with the other dogs in her care as he usually is when we're out in public.”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with Al. He took such great care of her and gave lots of updates. He was very accommodating for me when my plans were changed. Will definitely book with him again. Thanks so much!”

“We highly recommend Bernad & Hung for dog sitters in OC! My dog(Chu) has weak back and some daily care routines. They followed all of our instructions for Chu, sending a lot of photos and video of the process. When we met Chu after a long trip, he looks even better than with us 😂❤️ I can tell he had been beloved by them so much. We will be repeat clients again soon!”

“Vanessa watched my Toki for me for 3 nights and she did the most amazing job! I like to keep Toki clean and she came back to me in very pristine condition. I feel so comfortable leaving Toki with Vanessa, I’ll definitely book again 🎉”

About: I have been a “Dog Mom” for over 20 years. Often having multiple dogs of different sizes and breeds. I have handled deaf dogs- using sign language for commands, bells on door handles for dogs to signal outside time and understanding quiet, calm environments for senior dogs. I currently have no dogs in the house and I miss it so much! I’m excited to help your family any way I can. I’m a stay at home mom with one 9 year old boy who shares in my love for dogs. My child will be at school during the school year. My days are flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m happy to send photos/videos of your fur baby as often as you’d like! I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. (I will be outside with them the entire time) I can accommodate crate training at night or snuggle with them in my king size bed! We are an A/C controlled home!!

About: I’ve always loved dogs and had many growing up. I work from home and would be around your baby 24/7 for lots of attention and love. Beautiful area for short walks and potty breaks with a great park nearby for longer walks and exercise. I have a veterinary technician background and am comfortable caring for any pets that require medical care of any kind. I love doggies cuddles, and they would be allowed on the couch or bed, if permitted. They would be treated just like they were my own. I currently work from home and would be with your pets all day. I’m available weekends, holidays, and after 4pm on weekdays for daycare needs. I have plenty of walking paths and a very friendly older dog who loves company. There is also a park nearby for longer walks and exercise. Since I work from home, I have the freedom to take your pet out regularly through the day.
“Patricia was SO GREAT with my dogs! I've never left my dogs with anyone outside of my family, and was very nervous about doing so. Patricia made the entire experience so much LESS stressful! She takes watching your dogs very seriously, is incredibly experienced with all types of dogs, and truly cares about your dogs' well being. She understands dog behaviors and provides care beyond what I expected, and beyond what you'd be able to find if you boarded with a boarding company or vet. My babes got multiple walks per day, play time, lots of love, and she even setup a "den" area for them when they were stressed (then sat on the floor with them in there!). She had even made super healthy dog food for another client when we were there (with client permission, of course)! Very impressed, very pleased, and will absolutely have my pups stay with Patricia again. Thank you, Patricia!!!”

“Armida and her family always take wonderful care of our boys! One of them, our shy Bingo, usually doesn’t warm up to anyone, but he really likes Armida! When I picked them up, he didn’t want to leave her home and clearly missed her a lot. She’s truly the best sitter ever!!”

“Jenni was dedicated to keeping me updated on how my puppy was doing. She sent me pictures and texted me about his meals, bathroom breaks, and naps. My puppy loved her so much that he didn’t want to leave. He even met some friends, and from the pictures, it looked like he was having a wonderful time. I’m truly grateful to have met Jenni and look forward to seeing her again.”

“Julia was such a great host to Salem and Cooper. They went on tons of walks, played in the park and came home like they went on vacation themselves. Highly recommend Julia for dog sitting and over nights for anyones fur baby!”

“Dutch came home happy and clearly well taken care of. Pictures and updates were sent daily and Carrie was very communicative. I appreciate them for caring for Dutch and taking such good care of him.”

“Hanah & Dabin took such great care of our rescue dog Lilo during her first 2-week boarding stay 🥹💕 Since she’s a rescue, she can be pretty fearful and shy in new environments, so we were honestly nervous leaving her for that long for the first time. They sent us lots of photo/video updates, were incredibly patient and warm with her, and made us feel so at ease the whole time. It was so comforting seeing Lilo slowly open up and enjoy herself 🐶 We’re super grateful for all the love and care they gave her, and we’d absolutely book with them again!! 💛”

“My dog, Bailey, had a great stay with Victoria. She stayed in touch with me assuring me Bailey was fine. I knew she was in good care. No problems, easy to interact with. I would recommend her!!”

“Laura and her family are terrific! Snowball is always so happy there! She has a great time and returns home happy and healthy. Snowball has been to Laura's home many times and will go many times more in the future!”

Nicolas was AMAZING! We can’t recommend him enough! We have two dogs, one of which is more reactive, and Nick did an amazing job with both, they loved their stay, and he kept us in the loop and updated with all of their adventures together! We would highly recommend Nick for all of your pup’s needs!

We are so glad to have found Diana! Juni is a young, excitable pup and this was our first time leaving Juni for a long international trip, so we were nervous about leaving her. We completed a couple of daycare sessions with Diana prior so that Juni could feel comfortable with Diana and her home. We could tell that Diana gave her lots of love and affection and we really appreciated the daily pictures and videos. We never felt stressed or concerned about Juni’s wellbeing while we were traveling. We would def book with Diana again if needed!

"Leaving a Great Dane with someone can sometimes be nerve-wracking, but I couldn't be happier with the care Ivan received! He had an absolute blast playing with their dog, and it gave me peace of mind knowing he was happy, well looked after, and treated like family. Communication was great, and Ivan came home happy and relaxed. I am already rebooking for August.

Abigail was AMAZING, this was one of the first times I didn’t have horrible anxiety about leaving my dog with someone. She just handled everything for me and took a huge weight off me for the weekend. He’s a big and playful boy and not a beginner dog, but Tripp was smiling and happy when I picked him up, looked better than when I left him as she was great with his medicine. Zero complaints, I would absolutely book with her again. THANK YOU ♡

Everything in Al’s bio is 10”% accurate. Finn went everywhere with Al during his stay, we were worried Finn would not want to come back home with is! We received daily updates and pics. Our visit was around 4th of July and Al made sure to keep Finn calm and comfortable with fireworks. We were completely comfortable with the care Finn received. We will absolutely rebook with Al again.

Cheryl is very kind and worked with us on a few last minute travel situations, not to mention that Oskar had a bad fall before-hand and she was very attentive to his needs and helped us feel at ease while we were out of the country. I highly recommend Cheryl! Plus more than anything Oskar loves her!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
