“This was the first time we left our boy with anyone since getting him a year ago. He is a “quarantine” pup, so he hasn’t been socialized much. We’ve been nervous to leave him with anyone. I came across Rover and searched the profiles. When I read the reviews on Patricia I reached out. She suggested a meet and greet beforehand. We went to her home, spent some time talking and allowed Ferris (our baby) to explore. Her house was so clean and very dog friendly. Ferris is usually shy, but was sniffing around and went to Patricia right away. I’m a firm believer in animals knowing good people right away. We knew she was someone he trusted. The drop off day came and it was super smooth. Ferris took a day to warm up to her fully, but she knew how to coax him out of his funk. We received pictures of him exploring and having fun. We picked him up today and he was completely happy, he jumped on the couch like it was “his” house and he felt comfortable for sure. We are so happy we found Patricia. Our boy is sound asleep after the fun weekend of adventures❤️”

“Michelle is amazing! We are very particular about our 3 year old mini dachshund and the care that she receives. From the moment we met with Michelle she did everything to put us at ease. Safety of the dogs and making sure they are comfortable are her top priorities. She sends updates, takes them on two walks a day, makes sure that they are getting sunshine, playtime and all of the cuddles. She was so accommodating to all of our specific needs for our dog and made pick up and drop off so easy! We have already booked her again!”

“We are SO grateful for Lydia!! My little guy had his very first overnight away from me, 8 nights while I was on a cruise. Lydia kept me up to date with daily pics and texts to let me know my boy was doing a-ok fine! Unfortunately a storm hit with crazy rain and hail. My boy is anxiously attached AND sensitive to storms; the combo sent him into anxiety overdrive and he developed symptoms of a UTI. Lydia was on it!! She immediately contacted my vet and kept me informed every step of the way. She was proactive and calm. She kept me calm. She kept my boy calm. She sent me pics of him in the car going and returning from the vet; he was smiling! Treatment received, problem solved, remainder of stay uneventful, happy dog when I returned. “I can't say enough good things about Wendi and Jon, but I'll try. The love and care they showered on Nicky was everything I had hoped for but doubted I would find. They truly exceeded my expectations. Hopefully a summary of my experience will give others a glimpse of the wonderfulness that is Wendi and Jon. Our dog has special needs (a recent development) impacting his mobility and bladder/bowel control. Normally he stays with my inlaws when we travel but with his new requirements I knew it would be a strain on them. Nicky wears a diaper 24/7, cannot control his bladder or bowel movements, needs to have 2 different types of socks put on his feet when he goes outside, and needs to be lifted in and out of his stroller for walks. I spoke with 3 dog sitters, and Wendi was the only one who did not shy away from Nicky's special needs. Prior to the booking, she provided a ton of information and spent time on the phone with me to better understand Nicky's needs. Then she set up a meet and greet, and Nicky instantly took to both her and Jon, which was huge as Nicky usually takes a while to warm up. We signed up for a 10 day stay and showed up on the designated day with a giant bin full of food, diapers, wraps, socks, medicine, wipes, carpet cleaner, as well as a garbage bag full of 4 different beds. And a giant jogging size stroller. They didn't bat an eye and helped us carry everything in. Nicky was anxious and pooped all over his shoes. Wendi jumped right in to help me clean him up and wasn't bothered at all. We sat for a while on her patio and then left. During his 10 day stay, Nicky was loved and pampered. They took him on multiple outings a day, kept his diaper changed and figured out his pooping schedule to cut down on accidents (Jon went above and beyond!). They also hand fed him the first day when he wouldn't eat readily from the bowl. They did laundry for him even though I said they could stash all the dirty items for my return and gave him multiple baths to keep him fresh and comfortable. They let him have free reign throughout their lovely home and kept us connected with daily pictures and videos. He found all sorts of favorite spots and cuddled daily with both Wendi and Jon. I can't say enough good things about Wendi and Jon and highly recommend them to anyone! We look forward to seeing them again for future dog sitting needs.”
