“Sofia is such a sweetheart and wonderful with my senior pup! She took the time to come meet Skippy a couple days prior to our booking and he immediately went right up to her which he’s usually reluctant to do. I’m very picky about who I have watch Skippy and I feel so safe and at ease when Sofia is taking care of him. I highly recommend Sofia!”

About: I'm just a dog loving person who has experience with all sizes and ages. I have always had a dog in my life and have spent the past 18 months fostering dogs. My home is dog friendly and I have two dogs that love to play with other dogs. I work full time but close to home so I can come check on the dogs if needed and I am within the home on the weekends I board. My house is very pet friendly and I am okay with dogs on beds and couches. Having fostered dogs, I feel it is important to shower the dog with love so they feel comfortable in my home!
“Elise is great! She sent me photos twice a day to reassure me that everyone was okay. She interacted with one of my terriers who is a rescue and needs extra care. I would recommend Elise to anyone who needs a Pup Sitter that really cares. I will have her care for my pups, cats and birds again in the future.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals throughout my life so I am very comfortable with animals. Many of the dogs I have known are rescue dogs so I always accommodate to their needs in order for them to feel comfortable. Over the years I have taken care of friends and family members dogs when they have been away. Making sure all their needs are met and they are happy is my goal. I strive to provide every dog attention and love because every dog is good as long as they are loved and cared for. I work part-time at Dollar Tree and attend Orange Coast College with a couple classes during the week. I am usually free in the mornings all week unless I am working. The afternoons and evenings can be hit or miss since my work schedule isn’t fixed. I currently have two cats and always make sure their litter box is cleaned daily as well as feeding them. Ensuring that all their needs are met is my priority, because if they’re happy, everyone’s happy.

Tracy was amazing with our cat, Maggie! Maggie absolutely loved her, which is the highest compliment since she is pretty picky. Tracy took great care of her, went above and beyond, and was very communicative and thoughtful. We will 100% be requesting her in the future.

Andrea went above and beyond for our two kitties. This was our first time leaving them for a longer period of time and Andrea communicated everything clearly and made us feel at ease with the updates and photos. I highly suggest her. She also got my cat who is afraid of everyone and everything to come out and play! She is truly a cat whisperer:)

Nicholas was wonderful with Hazel! She can be a bit shy, and Nicholas arrived early to get her comfortable with him. I'm grateful for his patience with my girl in getting her to eat, potty, and take her meds! Nicholas sent lots of photos, update messages, and took his time with Hazel, and we're both so appreciative!

Hannah always goes beyond what's required not only did she spend extra time with our puppy she even helped when the puppy made a mess. He got into some old boxes and files she completely took the time and initiative to not only clean it all up but also move everything outside his play area since we were out of town!!! Highly recommend her 10/10 stars

Amy went above and beyond for my senior cat. I reached out to her just hours before I had to leave for a last minute trip and she responded immediately. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
