“This was my first time using the Rover app. I was very skeptical since I was so worried about my 2 big dogs (my kids) who are pretty young and don’t know their boundaries sometimes when it comes to people. I have a German shepherd and a Doberman. Yes big dogs who are very hyper. I had to leave for 7 days to another state due to an urgent family business. I found Annie and booked her last minute to take care of my dogs at my apartment. I was very worried for her because she is this tiny lady when I met her. My dogs easily tower over her. But don’t let her size fool you! She was very sweet to my dogs and very knowledgeable with a lot of dog care. She even introduced me to different puzzles my dog can use for the meantime. She always sent me updates and when she noticed something different with my dogs stomach issues, she was very prompt in letting me know and we talked about what we can change with their food intake. I really felt at ease having her take care of my dogs while I was thousands of miles away from them. Annie is an Angel that was sent to me especially at the last minute when I needed my family members (dogs) to be taken care of. Some of the pictures she took, my dogs looked so happy. “Sofia was an excellent pet sitter. I was traveling for 3 weeks out of the country and Sofia dropped by every other day and took car of my multiple cats. The cats are a handful and one required medication and Sofia did a great job. She fed and watered them as well as cleaned their litter boxes. Three of the cats hide in my sofa and she aways looked in it to make sure the three shy cats were there and ok. She also proved updates and pictures of the various cats which I enjoyed looking at from across the world during my vacation. I would highly recommend Sofia for any of your pet sitting needs.”

I have availability between 8am and 9pm most days, seven days a week. My availability is uploaded a month in advance. Please book early to guarantee availability. Pet safety is my priority. I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Labrador from the time I was born until I was around 10 years old, and since then I have had two other dogs, including a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and a Border Collie mix. Because of this, I have experience with different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, from large dogs that need strong handling to active dogs that need plenty of attention and playtime. I have also dog sat for family and friends before, so I understand how important it is to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I will always check in frequently with updates, make sure your dog is fed on schedule, take time to play with them, and give them the attention they need. My schedule is very flexible. I am home for the summer from UCSD and currently shadowing a doctor, but I am able to work my schedule around what is best for dog or cat sitting. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can usually make most times work. I will always communicate clearly if I have something planned on a certain day, and I will make sure we figure out a schedule that works best for you and your pet. “I was in a pinch and needed a last-minute dog sitter for my big boy Zeus from Wednesday night through Sunday evening. Kaiwen stepped up and took excellent care of him the entire time. Zeus is epileptic and requires medication that has to be mouth-fed twice daily. Kaiwen was experienced with this and made sure Zeus received his meds on schedule without any issues. Knowing Zeus would be in capable hands if he had a seizure gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. Zeus doesn’t have much experience around other dogs, but Kaiwen’s updates let me know that he actually did great and really enjoyed playing with the other dogs. It was wonderful to hear he was having fun and making friends! Kaiwen walked him multiple times a day and sent plenty of pictures throughout, which I really appreciated. Kaiwen was very communicative, updating me several times each day so I never had to worry. The level of care, attention, and professionalism was outstanding. About: I’ve always had dogs growing up. Recently just lost my senior pug who had diabetes and several health issues. I have no problem administering and keeping track of medications/glucose and feeding schedules. I have a small fenced in yard for bathroom breaks, as well as a flexible lifestyle that allows me to walk dogs twice a day every day. I am a part time dance teacher so I only work in the evenings for 5 hours max. I love being active but am always home every night at a reasonable hour. I lost my dog in February so I am free to take care of dogs who aren’t so friendly with others or who need extra attention. I have a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks and am young and able to take long walks in my neighborhood. We have a gated den area for pups to hang out in during the day with windows and toys.
