About: I have always been a pet lover and I have been taking care of cats and dog (and the occasional fish, rabbit and other rodents) for over 30years! I work for myself with a small clothing business and I also care for my school age child and occasionally volunteer at the school. This makes my schedule fairly flexible In my own home, all 3 of my cats are up to date on all shots and flea treatments. They are all chipped and neutered. I also Trap-Neuter-Release feral cats in my neighborhood

About: I had a fur-baby for 18 years. Once I was old enough I started learning to take care of her so I could be her primary caretaker. Once she passed we did adopt another puppy. She visited twice a day and handled everything so patiently and compassionately, including feeding her, giving subcutaneous fluids, cleaning the litter box, giving pills, and helping with the extra challenges of a senior cat who is picky with food and struggles with constipation. Selena did a great job taking care of my dog, BB. Before coming over, she asked about his routine, personality, and my preferences, which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving him with her. She made sure BB was fed, comfortable, and not lonely, and she actually spent time playing with him in the backyard and giving him attention instead of rushing through the visit. I am beyond neurotic when it comes to my fur babies lol and I have incredibly high expectation of their care and safety - They are my children. I found Elizabeth’s profile and although it’s always nerve wracking to entrust someone with your “kids” you just met, I had a good feeling about her in our messages. we arranged a meet and greet prior to our first Christmas Day evening visit and she was just wonderful. She listened closely to their routine at our meet and greet, and was very sweet and personable. She sent many photos during their Christmas Day visit which is always appreciated; She coaxed our pup who is a picky eater to eat more of his dinner which was a win and our very shy young cat even came out to say hi to her which never happens! I had notated in their care notes to stay in well lit areas on the walk with our pup due to coyotes and I could tell from the photos and map in rover she did exactly that- It means the world that she paid attention and customized their visit with our requests. I can tell She has a kind heart for animals and I am grateful we found her. We came home that night to two happy, well fed and content babies- already planning their next visit with her in January.
