I’ve cared for my own cats for 16 years, and the people around me often call me a “cat mom” because of how well I understand and care for them. I’ve also looked after friends’ and acquaintances’ cats on many occasions. My own cats need daily medication, so I know that caring for them means more than cuddles and playtime. It means being patient with the difficult moments and consistently showing up for the care they depend on. Giving my cats oral medication is part of my daily routine, and I’m happy to discuss your cat’s specific needs before a booking. I want your cat to feel comfortable, not pressured to be friendly. Whether they seek affection or prefer a quiet hiding spot, I’ll respect their pace and follow their familiar routine. Please tell me about their little habits, favorite things, and anything you worry about. Those details help me care for the individual cat you know and love. My goal is to give your cat thoughtful, attentive care—and help you feel understood and reassured while you’re away.

Schedule
I’m generally available for morning and evening visits. When I don’t have other commitments, I’m happy to arrange other visit times with you in advance to fit your cat’s routine. We’ll confirm the schedule together so you know when to expect me and your cat receives consistent care.

Safety, trust & environment
When I visit your home, I’ll respect both your space and your cat’s boundaries. I’ll let your cat get comfortable at their own pace, offering attention when they welcome it and quiet company when they need space. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and any medication needs we’ve discussed and agreed on beforehand. I’ll pay attention to their appetite, behavior, and litter box habits, and let you know if anything seems unusual. I’ll be careful with doors and windows, check on your cat before leaving, and make sure your home is securely locked. I’ll also share photos and updates so you can feel connected while you’re away. Before the first visit, we’ll review your emergency contact and vet information. The little details you share about your cat matter to me. Please never feel that your instructions are “too much”—I want to understand what helps your cat feel safe and cared for.

A typical day
Every cat has a different personality, so I let them set the pace. I’ll spend time playing, giving gentle affection, refreshing food and water, cleaning the litter box, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. For shy cats, I’m happy to simply sit nearby and give them time to warm up to me.
