“Jazmin was caring and on time for visits. She will make sure to follow instructions and will always send a picture that will make my day. She went out of her way to help us. We appreciate your help and will recommend her and book her for our next trip.”

About: I have always been a pet lover and I have been taking care of cats and dog (and the occasional fish, rabbit and other rodents) for over 30years! I work for myself with a small clothing business and I also care for my school age child and occasionally volunteer at the school. This makes my schedule fairly flexible In my own home, all 3 of my cats are up to date on all shots and flea treatments. They are all chipped and neutered. I also Trap-Neuter-Release feral cats in my neighborhood
“Mckenna was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our dogs home and having someone drop in during the day. We were gone for 3 days and she made sure we had no worries at all. She really went above and beyond by even buying our 2 dogs treats and toys. On top of that she stayed more than double the time we asked her to which shows how much she really cared for our dogs. After having her she’s really set the bar high for anyone else, you must book her if she’s available!”

“Kat did a fabulous job with our pets! The dogs loved her instantly and she even won over our extremely shy cat! I would highly recommend Kat as a pet sitter! We will definitely request her again!”

About: Please feel free to dm me so I can give you my number so we can discuss booking if you're not wanting to book with rover due to the fees. Thanks! I have experience in veterinary clinic settings, including handling and assisting with patient care, which has strengthened my understanding of animal behavior and safety. I’m comfortable caring for both energetic young pets and senior animals who need a gentler, more patient approach. I also make sure routines like feeding, medications, and exercise are followed closely so pets stay comfortable and consistent while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my routine alongside a full-time work schedule. I’m available for visits after work (5PM) on weekdays, and I also have open availability for longer care stays on weekends. I make it a priority to plan my schedule in advance so I can consistently provide reliable care and attention for each pet I take on. I provide care based on each pet’s routine and needs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after whether I’m in their home or out on a walk. For drop-ins and in-home visits, I follow the owner’s instructions closely—feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up as needed, giving medication if required, and spending time with the pet through play or companionship so they’re not just cared for but also comforted. I also keep the home tidy and make sure everything is secure before I leave. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match the dog’s energy level, whether that’s a relaxed stroll or a more active walk for exercise and stimulation. Overall, I prioritize consistency, safety, and communication, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: Hi! My name is Alexa, I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals of many personalities and ages. I recently relocated to California and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, puppy care, and providing extra patience for senior dogs or pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away. I have a 2 year old fur baby of my own, Arlo; who's taught me how important routine, exercise, and affection are for a dog’s happiness and well-being. I’m always able to adjust to your pet's needs and personality. Whether they love long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I enjoy spending the majority of my time with animals and being active outdoors. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets get the attention they need throughout the day. I am sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. I follow instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give Arlo ❤️. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s environment and the home itself. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their surroundings clean and calm. I pay close attention to their behavior and energy levels to make sure they are happy and stress-free while you're away. Communication is also important to me, I like to provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your fur babies are doing well.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 20 years, with 10+ years dedicated specifically to dogs. From tiny Chihuahuas to large, strong German Shepherds, I’ve worked with breeds of all sizes and temperaments. I’m also a lifelong cat owner and have cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful and social to shy and reserved. I understand that each pet is unique, with their own quirks, needs, and routines, and I make it my priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. Animals seem to sense my genuine affection right away, and most warm up to me quickly. I bring calm yet positive energy that helps even timid pets feel at ease. I treat every pet like my own, offering attentive, protective, and responsible care. Whether it’s providing enriching playtime, keeping up with special diets, or just offering extra cuddles, I go above and beyond to make sure your furry family member feels happy and secure while you’re away. As a music teacher, I currently work only three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to devote to pet care. From Wednesday through Saturday, I have ample time and energy to focus on your pet’s needs whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule allows me to give your furry friend the attention, consistency, and care they deserve. I primarily provide care in my client’s home, where pets can stay in their familiar environment and feel most comfortable. This helps reduce stress and maintain their normal routines. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules to playtime and exercise, and always give extra love and attention. In certain cases, I can also care for pets in my own home, especially small dogs or cats. In my home, they will have a safe, clean, and comfortable space, along with plenty of affection, supervision, and enrichment.
About: I approach pet care with the understanding that every animal is different—whether they’re energetic, shy, routine-driven, or need a little extra patience. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I have hands-on experience caring for pets with more complex needs. One of my own cats is on anxiety medication, so I’m very comfortable administering oral meds in a calm, low-stress way and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, and mood. More recently, my family dog went through a three-month battle with cancer, where I was actively involved in adjusting care routines, monitoring comfort, and providing consistent, attentive support. That experience deepened my ability to respond thoughtfully to pets who need extra care, patience, and flexibility. I’ve also grown up in a household with up to 12 pets at one time, so multitasking and providing individualized attention is second nature to me. I’m confident managing different routines, energy levels, and personalities all at once. I’m highly detail-oriented and reliable, so you can trust that feeding schedules, routines, and any specific instructions will be followed carefully. I also prioritize communication—I provide consistent updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Above all, I treat every pet like they’re my own: with patience, respect, and a genuine investment in their comfort and happiness. As a Ph.D. student, I have a flexible and structured schedule that allows me to consistently incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I plan my days around responsibilities, which makes it easy for me to prioritize visits, walks, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Caring for my own cats is already a big part of my daily life, so feeding schedules, playtime, cleaning, and monitoring behavior are second nature to me. Adding in pet care for others fits seamlessly into that routine. I’m also intentional about not overbooking, so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening visits, I’m able to show up consistently and stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Overall, pet care isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and able to build my schedule around. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or specific habits your pet is used to—so they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m very respectful of your home and make sure everything is kept clean, organized, and exactly how you left it. I’m also attentive to the details that matter, like monitoring eating habits, energy levels, and behavior, so I can quickly notice if anything seems off. Overall, I aim to create a calm, reliable presence so your pet feels safe, cared for, and as comfortable as possible in their own home.
“On a scale of 1 to 10, Judy was a 12. Judy is very friendly and loves all pets. I was afraid my dogs would love her more than me when I go home from a week on vacation. Pictures were sent every visit showing how the dogs were doing. I would highly recommend Judy for watching your pets. Yes I will use her service again.”

“Carla is down to earth, knowledgeable and most importantly dependable and kind to our dog. My skiddish pup continued to eat and act lovingly during our week vacation in Europe. Carla sent daily report cards and pictures and in depth check ins to keep us in the loop. Thanks Carla. Glad we found someone helpful, professional and kind to depend on in the future.”

About: My family and I have always been a dog lover and we treat them like the people they are. We currently have two of our own- a husky and Labrador. I help feed them, provide care, and walk them on an occasional basis. They have feelings, they sense the love we offer them, and they need company. I have a soft heart for them and love to cuddle with them. Animals are amazing and should always be treated as people. I am currently available Monday through Friday after 4pm. Weekends I am more flexible with time! Please contact me if you have any questions! I am looking forward to taking care of some dogs, you won’t regret it! Let me know if you have any questions. I am available after my full time job to assist with pet care on the weekdays and on weekends, I have more of a flexible schedule since I don’t work. I have a dog of my own so I am used to walking them, feeding them, and playing with them. I care with pets by providing them socialization, love, affection, and company. I am most available to care for pets outside of my home and am open to entering the owners home to assist.
“We scheduled Erika for a drop-in visit to walk and feed our two dogs for the first time. She went above and beyond. She communicated well and sent us photos and videos of our dogs. We would definitely recommend Erika to everyone and will schedule her again for any service she provides for our dogs.”

Stanton cat parents share their Rover experiences
Hannah was amazing! Attentive with my kittens and to their needs. This was the first time I was away from them since I adopted them so I was very nervous, Hannah sent photos and updated me throughout the visits. I will definitely have her back if she’ll return. Thank you!!!

Kimi took amazing care of my 18 year old cat with stage 3 CKD while I was away for a week. She visited twice a day and handled everything so patiently and compassionately, including feeding her, giving subcutaneous fluids, cleaning the litter box, giving pills, and helping with the extra challenges of a senior cat who is picky with food and struggles with constipation. She was incredibly kind, reliable, and attentive, and I could tell she truly cared about my cat’s comfort and wellbeing. Because of her, I felt so relieved knowing my cat was in such good hands, and I was actually able to relax and enjoy my trip. I’m very grateful for her help and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend Kimi, especially for pets who need extra patience and care.

This was my first time using rover and honestly I was super nervous. Those nerves went away so fast with Andrea. She asked a ton of follow up questions when meeting my cats to ensure she would be able to take care of them properly. That really eased my mind when I was leaving. During my trip she sent constant updates and pictures of the state of the kitties and my apartment. I was able rest easy knowing my cats and my apartment were in amazing shape. I am so incredibly grateful for Andrea's communication and care skills. If you need someone to take care of your pets with the same care you do Andrea will do just that

I very pleased with Elizabeth’s kindness and attentiveness! I am beyond neurotic when it comes to my fur babies lol and I have incredibly high expectation of their care and safety - They are my children. I found Elizabeth’s profile and although it’s always nerve wracking to entrust someone with your “kids” you just met, I had a good feeling about her in our messages. we arranged a meet and greet prior to our first Christmas Day evening visit and she was just wonderful. She listened closely to their routine at our meet and greet, and was very sweet and personable. She sent many photos during their Christmas Day visit which is always appreciated; She coaxed our pup who is a picky eater to eat more of his dinner which was a win and our very shy young cat even came out to say hi to her which never happens! I had notated in their care notes to stay in well lit areas on the walk with our pup due to coyotes and I could tell from the photos and map in rover she did exactly that- It means the world that she paid attention and customized their visit with our requests. I can tell She has a kind heart for animals and I am grateful we found her. We came home that night to two happy, well fed and content babies- already planning their next visit with her in January. Thank you Elizabeth!
