“Sofia took wonderful care of our dog, August, while we were away for three days. She was responsible, punctual, and amazing with our anxious pup, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her communication was excellent—she kept us updated and was always quick to respond. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We can’t wait to book with Sofia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Sarah was fantastic! She was able to book with us last minute and was extremely communicative the entire time. She sent several pictures and updates, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Moose was clearly very well taken care of and happy. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

“Carey was great! She was professional and communicated very well. She also sent lots of photo and video updates of our cats, which made me feel at ease as I traveled.”

About: I had a people aggressive dog. So I’ve learned a lot with her these past 8 years. But also Im natural caretaker so very patient! Right now on summer break looking for new position. So my schedule is pretty flexible now until I find a full time position and then I can see where dog walking fits My dog had behavior issues so I am very good with all tempers and I am very patient. I am also very observant to tell if other dogs are going to be friendly or not.
About: My skills are only taking the dogs a bath and taking them on walks, and I play with them as well I give all my attention to them. I start my morning early and then I take the dog out on their first walk of the day, then I feed them their breakfast, then throughout the day I play with them and care for them. The care I would give is just giving them attention and making sure their area is always cleaned. Taking them on walks and playing with them! I always attend them to see what they need. I also provide dog sitting in your own home as much as you need me to, and I provide over night staying as well in your own home book with me for more details!

About: I have had several pets of my own growing up. It was always my responsibility to bathe, brush their teeth, buy & feed them, walk them, etc.. Again, not only was it dogs (different breeds), but also cats (breeds/colors/personalities), birds, chickens, fish, & goats. What sets me apart from other sitters is that from my own pets is that I adapt to their needs based on their behaviors & that I am observant. From my own experience owning a dog, I noticed she wouldn't eat the food provided. Attempted giving her different flavors of food and different textures. Eventually I had to hand feed her during the day. I raised her from a puppy 'til senior days. So it really hit hard when she passed away. I am up for the task even if its not the common pet ☺️ I'm currently working only on Fridays at a Healthcare facility from 7am-3pm. I am free to take care of your loving pet from Saturday - Thursday. However, any late night or overnight stay, whether at the clients home or my home, must be discussed. Before anything, a brief and/or detailed description of the pet breed & personality would be appreciated to help me adapt to their needs & wants. If there is any specific schedule you want to maintain with your pet, please inform me. I have a backyard, half cement and half grassy area for bringing the dog over. Depending on the breed & energy levels, we can go on walks and there's a park nearby. For the environment of the client's home, I would engage in play by short sprints & toys provided - walking with the dog if provided leash/harness, along with approval. Basic tasks like feedings during the day, walking, playing & watching over are already provided.
“We had an excellent experience with Hannah! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was gone, making sure they were well fed and comfortable. It was clear she genuinely cared and treated them like her own. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: I've been around dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, rabbits and birds all my life with family and friends pets, I now have my own pets that I train everyday. :) I am a retired veteran with a dog, so I have plenty of time to train and dog sit/rove other pets. I love animals. ❤️ I make sure all my pets are fed daily, some twice a day, and they get at least an hour of half of play, walk, and training combine.
About: I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know their needs and follow care instructions carefully. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of different ages and temperaments. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention and care. I'm patient, reliable, and committed to keeping pet owners updated with photos and messages, so they can have peace of mind while they're away. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. Because I'm home during the week, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and companionship. On weekends, my family is also home, so there is always someone available to supervise and care for your pet. This means your pet will have company and attentive care seven days a week, giving you peace of mind while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where pets can relax and feel secure. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and any special needs to help pets feel as comfortable as possible. Because I work from home, I can provide regular supervision throughout the day and quickly respond to your pet's needs. I introduce pets to new environments at their own pace and always use secure leashes and safe handling practices during walks. I also send regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats for most of my life and have been caring for them independently since I was 18. My experience includes feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, puppy and potty training, litter box cleaning, house sitting, and keeping pet areas clean and tidy. I’ve cared for pets with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand that every animal has their own comfort level and routine. I’m patient, attentive, and respectful of pets who may need a little extra time or space to warm up. I also understand basic pet safety, including common foods and household items that can be harmful to dogs and cats. Whenever possible, I prefer to schedule a meet and greet before booking so your pet and I can get comfortable with each other and make sure we’re a great match! I currently have a flexible schedule and am generally available for walks and drop-in visits during the late morning and afternoon. I also have availability in the early mornings, typically between 6–8 AM, and in the evenings, with 3–7 PM being my preferred window. Because I have a few recurring family responsibilities, I keep my Rover calendar updated and confirm each request based on the specific time and your pet’s routine. For walks and drop-in visits, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication. Before the first booking, I prefer to schedule a meet and greet so I can get to know your pet, learn how they communicate, and make sure we are a good match. This also gives us time to review feeding instructions, allergies, medications, approved play areas, off-limit spaces, leash or harness use, favorite toys, behavioral triggers, and any other important care details. I will only use foods, treats, toys, equipment, and supplies that have been approved by the owner. I also make sure doors, gates, crates, and pet areas are secure before leaving and will provide updates so you know how your pet is doing during each visit.

Based on my experiences, I will ensure to accommodate your furry's needs such as providing daily care, feeding, walking, in a safe environment while the owner is away.
“Andrea was absolutely wonderful with my cat Bella and my fish Bumble. Bella is usually pretty outgoing, and Andrea did an amazing job keeping her entertained and happy. I loved getting the updates and pictures—Bella looked so comfortable and content, and Bumble was well cared for too. Coming home to such happy pets and a tidy space was a great feeling. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for someone who truly cares!”

About: Hello! I am excited to to receive the opportunity to watch your fur baby. I did take a hiatus from dog walking for a while and am excited to get back to it. I grew up around many different size dogs. My family has had three Siberian Huskies, a German Shepard, a beagle, a St. Bernard, a Chow, an English Mastiff. I currently have a Schnoodle that I rescued. He is a little ball of energy and is full of love. I know that your dog is a part of your family and should be treated with unconditional love and be taken good care of. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide you with the best service possible. If you have an comments or concerns please contact me. Right now I am making more of a priority to walk dogs and I am looking to do it two or three days a week for now. My schedule with my pup has either patio time or a walk each day, depending on if he’ll let me put his harness on. The first thing is to enter the home slowly and with the door closed as much as possible. If I am taking a dog on a walk the first thing is making sure the pup has any gear on properly and securely.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Garden Grove
Andrea went above and beyond for our two kitties. This was our first time leaving them for a longer period of time and Andrea communicated everything clearly and made us feel at ease with the updates and photos. I highly suggest her. She also got my cat who is afraid of everyone and everything to come out and play! She is truly a cat whisperer:)

I really appreciate her taking a last-minute reservation to check on Powder. She made sure Powder had everything she needed, including checking her food, water, and litter box. She was reliable, caring, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. Thank you so much for helping out on short notice!

Sarah has been an amazing sitter for us! She's been flexible and accommodating to our cats as well our sitting needs. We looked forward to her wonderful drop in updates every day we were gone. She was even able to coax one of our more shy cats out of hiding for some pets! Highly recommend Sarah for your pet sitting needs!
Vivian did so well with my cats! She went above and beyond while caring for my cats while I was away, always keeping me updated each day. Really appreciate how clean the litter box was when I returned. She even emptied the trash can when it got too full with the litter. Very trustworthy and professional, definitely recommend her.

This was my first time using rover and honestly I was super nervous. Those nerves went away so fast with Andrea. She asked a ton of follow up questions when meeting my cats to ensure she would be able to take care of them properly. That really eased my mind when I was leaving. During my trip she sent constant updates and pictures of the state of the kitties and my apartment. I was able rest easy knowing my cats and my apartment were in amazing shape. I am so incredibly grateful for Andrea's communication and care skills. If you need someone to take care of your pets with the same care you do Andrea will do just that

I very pleased with Elizabeth’s kindness and attentiveness! I am beyond neurotic when it comes to my fur babies lol and I have incredibly high expectation of their care and safety - They are my children. I found Elizabeth’s profile and although it’s always nerve wracking to entrust someone with your “kids” you just met, I had a good feeling about her in our messages. we arranged a meet and greet prior to our first Christmas Day evening visit and she was just wonderful. She listened closely to their routine at our meet and greet, and was very sweet and personable. She sent many photos during their Christmas Day visit which is always appreciated; She coaxed our pup who is a picky eater to eat more of his dinner which was a win and our very shy young cat even came out to say hi to her which never happens! I had notated in their care notes to stay in well lit areas on the walk with our pup due to coyotes and I could tell from the photos and map in rover she did exactly that- It means the world that she paid attention and customized their visit with our requests. I can tell She has a kind heart for animals and I am grateful we found her. We came home that night to two happy, well fed and content babies- already planning their next visit with her in January. Thank you Elizabeth!

Maya was such an amazing sitter for our cat. She went above and beyond, not only taking care of his food, water, and litter, but also playing with him for extended periods of time. She provided frequent updates and took so many wonderful photos and videos that she shared with us so that we could feel totally at ease. We would highly recommend Maya and would book her again in a heartbeat!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
