About: I think a little backstory helps: every pet I have is a rescue! Whether from the streets, a shelter, or the "animal distribution network," I seem to be the person random animals flock to for help. My home includes two dogs (a senior Australian Shepherd/Pit/Chow mix and a 3-year-old Chiweenie mix), two rescued cats living in the lap of luxury, and a bearded dragon I saved from under a bush last year. We even had gerbils, hamsters, parakeets, and fish. Caring for animals has been part of daily life from the time I was born.
