“Samantha and Brittany are wonderful sitters. Before them, I’d never hired sitters before but they’ve made the process very comfortable on top of take stellar care of by cat babies. They are sweet and caring and are great at following care instructions. I’ve hired them multiple times and will continue to whenever I have to leave town!”

About: Grew up with dogs and cats and and have been caring for my own pets and watching/housesitting my friends animals for many years. A pet turns your place into a home! I work from home with a flexible schedule, therefore I can give full attention to your fur baby. Having a routine is important to dog's and cat's wellbeing - keeping the same schedule every day is key. My place has a closed-in patio and a yard just a few steps away. It is safe and quiet. The neighborhood is great for walking.

“Faith took excellent care of Raiken when he needed to be checked on while I was at work for the day. She was a great communicator and paid extra attention to ask about any specific needs for the day. I feel super comfortable leaving my pets in Faith’s care and will definitely have her come again! It’s clear Faith is a huge animal lover and very responsible which is exactly what you want when leaving your animals in someone else’s care. Thank you Faith!”
“Wen was fantastic watching Oscar our Westie for a few hours. She was punctual and kept us updated on how our puppy was doing with great pics and video. Highly recommend Wen to take care of your pet.”

“Yermin/Nora provided such wonderful and quality care for my senior pup in drop in visits. Eddie was well taken care of and in good spirits upon my return. Nora maintained great communication. I definitely recommend Nora.”

“Tessa took care of our cat Olivia for a couple of weeks while we were on vacation. She came in to visit and care of Olivia once a day. She was absolutely fantastic. She provided daily updates with photos to us. It was clear that Olivia adored Tessa and could not wait for her daily cuddles. Tessa is a kind and warm person who loves animals. I hope she can take care of our pet next time we are out of town. Tessa, thank you for being so amazing!”

“This is the third time we have used Vivian & we are so thankful to have her there for our kitties. She was able to help add on an extra check-in time last min after our travel plans changed. And went the extra effort & brought in all of our packages without even asking. Our kitties absolutely love spending time with her & run right to the door to greet her!!!”

“We recently had the pleasure of hiring Chloe to take care of our beloved dog, Buttons, during our absence. Chloe was absolutely amazing! During her drop-in visits, she took Buttons for walks and spent quality time with her. Buttons, who can be a bit shy around strangers, immediately took a liking to her. She was gentle, patient, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Chloe was also very communicative, sending us regular updates and photos of Buttons enjoying her walks and playtime. Overall, we would highly recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a reliable and caring individual to look after their pet. She provided excellent service and made us feel confident that Buttons was in good hands. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: If you are looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for your dog to stay, look no further! I have always been passionate about animals and I have never lived without them. I currently have two dogs and a cat (all well trained). I have worked at animal shelters and have rescued, cared for, and adopted out upwards of 15 animals through my own home. When your dog stays with me, they will have a constant playmate through me, my husband and my other pets. We have a dog door with a fenced in backyard. We have toys and treats aplenty. I love to keep my families updated with pictures and videos of their animals having the time of their lives! Bring your fur baby over to play anytime! Most of my work happens at home and on my schedule. I regularly have foster animals so having extra pets in the home is already a part of my routine! We go on walks and play in the backyard! We have a dog door so there's always a bathroom for them if needed. However, we still walk however much you would like! Otherwise, they integrate into our lives as if they were our own.
About: Use this code for $20 off!- DANAP81645 Animals have always been part of my life. Growing up, our family was constantly rescuing strays, helping lost pets find their way home, and occasionally falling in love and adding them to the family ourselves. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I currently share my home with my 11 year old son, our Australian Shepherd, Otis, and our two bearded dragons. I understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like family. Whether they love long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so their experience feels as stress-free as possible. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I own a business, so I'm very flexible with availability during the week. Weekends I'm completely available. I will be here the whole time whenever we have visitors. I have a big yard for pups to play in. We love playing fetch or just sitting around our backyard enjoying our beautiful California weather. When we're not outside, inside our home is a calm environment.
“Our family had to do a quick turnaround trip & needed someone to look after our 2 little dogs. Lisa responded promptly to our request when I reached out to her. Scheduling through the app was so easy & convenient & as a very busy mom I really needed that. Lisa came at the times we requested & made us feel secure in knowing that our dogs were looked after. She sent lots of pics & made sure they went potty. We will definitely have Lisa come again! Highly recommend Rover too. As someone with a super busy schedule this app was a lifesaver.”

Aurora is the best! I recently moved to the area and needed someone to care for my guy and she quickly established herself as someone I can count on and that my cat loves. I’ve already booked her again. I highly recommend her. She goes above and beyond with visit reports and cleaning.

I had a last minute request for drop-in kitty feeding - with a complicated entry into the house - Shannan accepted the responsibility and went above expectations, she was exceptionally caring to Bella and had zero issues figuring out how to provide service. I have been a Rover sitter myself for 5 years, I can honestly say now I understand the value of asking for help and receiving peace of mind and the effort a sitter gives to care for pets. I HIGHLY recommend Shannan🌸 she is top notch as a Rover sitter!

Went on a river trip with limited internet service and didn't worry about my 2 cats at all while I was gone knowing they were in Andreas care. She fed them, pet them, scooped their litter and sent photos the whole time I was gone. Highly recommend! Thank you Andrea!

Vivian is the absolute best! She’s been caring for our kitties, Jules and Vinnie, since they were little, and they absolutely adore her. Knowing they get so much love and attention when we’re away gives us complete peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!

Yermin did a great job with my kitty and dog. She had no problem "job sharing" with a friend of mine, who came by twice a day to walk the pup and Yermin came by each evening to make sure kitty and pup were fed and got him out for his last pee of the day before bed. She was very responsive when contacted and she was always in communication. Also sent lots of photos, which I love!

Elise was amazing. I would highly recommend her! She did a great job taking care of everything while I was out of town for 4 days. She sent lots a really great pictures and a very detailed and fun update each day. Her pricing is reasonable and her services a 10/10.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
