About: I’ve cared for my own dogs, cats and reptiles. I have cared for rescue pets, neighbors’ pets, office pets and assisted senior pets. I genuinely care for animals of all kinds. I’m working part-time and love the outdoors and exercise, so I can easily manage walks and drop-ins. Happy to feed and give needed attention to your pets. I am reliable, a mom who knows what it means to be a pet mom too! I would give the same care to your pet as I would my own. Lots of love and care in your home.
“Wen was extremely caring and conscientious with my cat. She went the extra mile to do make sure all the details for cat sitting were in place beforehand. She made sure my cat got everything he needed, including quality time. Plenty of photos and videos were taken along with diligently using the in-app features to track how my cat was doing. I highly recommend Wen!”

“We recently had the pleasure of hiring Chloe to take care of our beloved dog, Buttons, during our absence. Chloe was absolutely amazing! During her drop-in visits, she took Buttons for walks and spent quality time with her. Buttons, who can be a bit shy around strangers, immediately took a liking to her. She was gentle, patient, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Chloe was also very communicative, sending us regular updates and photos of Buttons enjoying her walks and playtime. Overall, we would highly recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a reliable and caring individual to look after their pet. She provided excellent service and made us feel confident that Buttons was in good hands. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: While I’m newer to Rover, I’ve spent years caring for my own pets and helping friends and family with pet sitting. I’m very comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed in their environment. I naturally have a calm, attentive presence and treat every pet like they’re my own. I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to provide consistent care, attention, and companionship. I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine, including walks, feeding, and playtime. I prefer to only work at my clients home since I have pets of my own at home. My husband takes care of our animals when I am away so it’s never a problem to stay or stop in for their care.
“Andrew is super reliable, he takes excellent care of our kitties needs and provides them with great daily playtime. We so appreciate him, he’s a gem and we highly recommend him.”

About: For the last two decades, I have dedicated myself to house sitting and pet care for those closest to me. I’ve handled everything from high-energy pups to gentle giants and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and TLC. Because I’ve worked with dogs of all different sizes and temperaments, I know how to read their body language, respect their routines, and give them exactly what they need to feel at ease. I'm currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I'm available for day or overnights during the week and most weekends. I am very loving and hands on type with pets. We can play in the yard if it's fenced and/or go for walks. I am comfortable to administer medication if needed, as I have cared for many senior foster and my own pets.
“Bianca was just the best for my kitties while I was gone! She was so loving and attentive to them. I know they loved that she played with them and gave them just the right amount of food and care. Loved the pics she sent as well.”

“Our family had to do a quick turnaround trip & needed someone to look after our 2 little dogs. Lisa responded promptly to our request when I reached out to her. Scheduling through the app was so easy & convenient & as a very busy mom I really needed that. Lisa came at the times we requested & made us feel secure in knowing that our dogs were looked after. She sent lots of pics & made sure they went potty. We will definitely have Lisa come again! Highly recommend Rover too. As someone with a super busy schedule this app was a lifesaver.”

About: Since I was young, roughly 7 I worked with all different types of animals and breeds. The smallest I've worked with is snakes all the way to the biggest being Buffalo. So I'm pretty confident when it comes to dogs and cats. I have dog training under my belt, giving medications; I do not give injections however, I simply think it's too much of a risk. I also have senior care, so I'll take extra care to minimize any work the older animals will have to put in for anything when I'm with them. Throughout the week my schedule is open for a decent amount of it, so it helps In making my rover schedule pretty open and flexible for clients. For safety reasons I will never bring my personal dog, but for clients; I'll always make sure to follow every direction and precaution they have left me for their animals. Then of course take standard safety etiquette for when walking or exercising a clients animal.
“Recently had Brittany & Samantha care for my cats for the third time in as few months. I always receive updates and photos after each visit. And my cats are healthy and exactly as I left them when I return!”

I live in a gated apartment complex with lots of grassy areas and sidewalks for break time. There are lots of other small dogs and cats in my complex who are friendly as well.

Vivian is the absolute best! She’s been caring for our kitties, Jules and Vinnie, since they were little, and they absolutely adore her. Andrew was wonderful. He kept us informed and updated on our 2 kitties every visit. He paid attention to details and did everything we asked him to do, and beyond. Our scaredy cat was even okay with his visits. If we were to need a cat sitter again Andrew would be by first and most favored choice. Our house, cats, and peace of mind were safe and at ease because of Andrew...I highly recommend his services.

Elise was amazing. I would highly recommend her! She did a great job taking care of everything while I was out of town for 4 days. She sent lots a really great pictures and a very detailed and fun update each day. Her pricing is reasonable and her services a 10/10.

Kyra remains my favorite sitter. She is so thorough, communicative, and detail oriented. She’s also been incredibly sweet, patient, and kind with my very anxious cats. I appreciate both her professionalism and her friendly demeanor. I recommend her to other pet owners without reservation!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
