My goal is to be reliable, flexible, and present for both you and your pet whenever you need. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things safe, stress-free, and familiar. I’ll follow your routines, keep the space clean, and make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel at ease while you’re away from your fur babies! In my home, your pup will be treated like part of the family! Since I share my home with both dogs and cats, visiting dogs do need to be friendly with other pets. At night, dogs are safely crated for rest, and during the day they’ll have plenty of time to run, play, and explore in my large fenced yard. There’s also a pool in the yard, which is always kept secure so everyone stays safe. Please note that I don’t offer in-home care for cats at this time.

“This review is overdue! We first booked Shellby a few months back on very short notice. It was a very last-minute request, and our usual walker/sitter was unavailable. I contacted Shellby and she got back to me very quickly. I was worried because I usually do a "meet and greet" any time we have a new sitter, but in this instance, it wasn't an option. Shelby was an excellent communicator leading up to her walking/feeding my dogs, and put my mind at ease. My dogs did great with her and the care they received was excellent. I've since rebooked Shellby and plan to do so again. I'm so glad I've found this great new dog walker. Definitely recommend her services!”

About: Hi! I recently graduated from UCSB and moved back home, where I live with my own one-year-old Goldendoodle Willow (who I’ve raised since she was 8 weeks old) and my mom’s two dogs—a sweet Goldendoodle and a Husky. All three love hanging with new dogs of all sizes! I’ve always been an animal lover and truly enjoy caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Since moving home I have all the free time working remote, I’d love to hangout with your dogs and I know my dogs would too! Our yard is fully fenced in with grass and lots of area to run. We have a separate pool area that’s closed off, but if your dog likes to swim that can be arranged as well! Our home is one story and I will be with the dogs the whole time.

About: Hello, this is Joey! I have always had a fondness for dogs throughout my life. I have helped my extended family with watching their elderly dog, who has had a lot of problems with most people but she really likes me. I make sure to approach all pets with kindness and acceptance. Regardless of the challenge, I want to help out pets and seeing dig smiles fills me with joy! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. Whenever I am needs, I will do my best to accommodate their wishes. As long as you give me some ample time, I will make my schedule work for you! I live with my dog in my apartment but my husband and I always make sure to take her out for walks, play with her, and take her to the dog park to help keep her fit. For my extended family’s elderly dog, I make sure to watch her closely, give her easy to eat snacks, and take her into the backyard to get some exercise. I never rush her and make sure to wait for however long she need.
