My passion for animals carried into a career in Veterinary medicine, working for general practice clinics and specialty hospitals. I am the purrfect, all-around pet nanny. About: I have taken care of my neighbors’ and family friends dogs since 2015 ranging from English bulldog to Chihuahua to full size labradoodles. I have also cared for my own dogs. I am currently working part-time Monday-Thursday and am available after 3pm. I am fully available on Fridays. I work 1 weekend day which does fluctuate between Saturday and Sunday depending on the week - on that work day, I am available before 9:30am and after 6:30pm. I am very respectful of the client’s home. I will obey their house rules. I will make sure to be thorough with any provided instructions and ask questions about things I am not sure about. I keep a clean and organized space.

About: I know how to groom all type of dog hair if you like. They will love all the adventures we will go on. They will always feel welcomed and cared for at all times. I will shower them if you ask. Would love to take care of any dog. I do not mind picking up after them, that is my job. I always have treats and chew toys with me. I will always be available for them when you need me there. Holidays included as well. Will play with them for as long as they want(tummy rubs included). Planning to go to college to learn more about taking care of dogs full time soon. Will always go home satisfied with a full tummy and with a smile on their face. I am currently working a part time job. I do not work much so my availability is very open. My job fluctuates week by week but will always let you know ahead of time. I have a fenced home. My home is also pretty big so very spacious for any pets. I also live in a quiet neighborhood so they will not have to worry about loud sounds.

“This review is overdue! We first booked Shellby a few months back on very short notice. It was a very last-minute request, and our usual walker/sitter was unavailable. I contacted Shellby and she got back to me very quickly. I was worried because I usually do a "meet and greet" any time we have a new sitter, but in this instance, it wasn't an option. Shelby was an excellent communicator leading up to her walking/feeding my dogs, and put my mind at ease. My dogs did great with her and the care they received was excellent. About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs for years and adopted my own puppy 3 years ago! I've learned a lot about dog training the past few years, including loose leash walking, clicker training, working on reactivity, recall training, and getting through the puppy and teenage phase! I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and balanced training and can help keep up any training you have been working on with your dog while I take care of them! I'm familiar with various collars - regular, prong, slip, gentle leaders, and harnesses. I'm currently taking a work hiatus from being a pharmacist! So I have flexible scheduling during the day & evenings to help take care of your pup! I'm typically at the ceramics studio on Fridays, but if you let me know 2 weeks in advance of the Friday you need me, I can make arrangements. I am here to help your pets feel as safe and happy as they can while you're away. Just let me know their normal routine (no matter how detailed) and I'm happy to keep it the same for them! I can help administer medications if needed, and can put together multi-step meals with toppers as well!

About: Hi, I'm Amyra! 😊 Animals are my pride and joy. I have done numerous amounts of professional and volunteer work with animals including horses. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, and of many different backgrounds. With that being said, I have some experience with aggressive and reactive dogs as well. Winning an anxious dog over is my specialty. I'm very good with puppies and kittens, and to be honest, I tend to baby any animal regardless of how old they are. I have worked with sick dogs who frequently needed to be groomed and cleaned up due to medical issues. I've worked with many blind and deaf dogs as well. I have worked with cats very closely at multiple animal shelters. I also have experience with special needs cats with cerebellar hypoplasia which is much like the cat equivalent of cerebral palsy. So if your pet has any special needs, there will never be an issue. I'm very flexible, I have a great love for animals, and I can provide you with the best quality of care for your pets who I like to refer to as "fur babies" seeing as they're practically family members. Also, my boyfriend who has a Rover account as well often splits bookings with me when we get busy, so if it ever says I'm booked you may still reach out for him! We are both certified and trained in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross. Additionally, he has landscaping experience and I have housekeeping & organizing experience so if you need your house cleaned, plants watered, or lawn mowed for longer stays we provide that as well. We have also taken care of our client's pools for longer stays, so you can rest assured that your home will be in perfect condition from every aspect when you return from your trip. I work remotely as a paralegal so I have plenty of time on my hands to spend with your pups! I'll treat your pets like they're my own and provide them with the most love.
