About: If you are looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for your dog to stay, look no further! I have always been passionate about animals and I have never lived without them. I currently have two dogs and a cat (all well trained). I have worked at animal shelters and have rescued, cared for, and adopted out upwards of 15 animals through my own home. When your dog stays with me, they will have a constant playmate through me, my husband and my other pets. We have a dog door with a fenced in backyard. We have toys and treats aplenty. I love to keep my families updated with pictures and videos of their animals having the time of their lives! Bring your fur baby over to play anytime! Most of my work happens at home and on my schedule. I regularly have foster animals so having extra pets in the home is already a part of my routine! We go on walks and play in the backyard! We have a dog door so there's always a bathroom for them if needed. However, we still walk however much you would like! Otherwise, they integrate into our lives as if they were our own.

Every day I ensure that she gets the care she needs by feeding her regularly, cleaning her litter box, and setting aside time each day to play with her and keep her active. I’m always attentive to a pets needs and make sure they’re comfortable and happy in my home

About: Growing up with dogs all my life pets always felt like family members. Out of college, I worked at a doggy daycare, the Bone Adventure, where I learned a large range of skills. Sitting on the ground and hand feeding dogs that are having nervous bellies, picking up on body language, doggy first aid, as well as a general knowledge of pet care. I enjoy working with puppies as well as senior dogs and cats as well. I love taking dogs on walks and discovering their method of play. I’m available any day of the week I love getting out of the house and visiting with people’s pets, I love long walks, short walks, playing fetch, and lots of pats. I typically like to follow the owners instructions to the tea and adhering to the animal's normal routine to reduce any stress. I enjoy engaging with their toys and treats and giving lots of love and affection.

About: I have taken care of dogs all throughout high school and college whether it be family, neighbors, friends, or mutual friends! I am comfortable with giving pet’s medication or following specific instructions as needed. I can take care of all kinds of dogs and will be sure they feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I love spending time with dogs especially as I am away from my own at home! I work from home as I have a remote internship this summer. I typically go to workout classes / go on runs in the morning but never longer than an hour. My backyard is dog friendly with a closed fence and lawn. My home is one story with plenty of room to play. Only one out of five of my roommates is home who also has dogs of her own.

About: Hi! I work remotely full-time, which means your dog will never be left alone and will receive lots of attention, supervision, walks, and play throughout the day. I love creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where pets can feel at home while you’re away. I live in a quiet Charlestown cul-de-sac with minimal street traffic, which helps create a peaceful environment for dogs who may be nervous around loud noises or busy streets. My home is clean, safe, and pet-friendly, and I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medication needs, or specific routines. I enjoy having dogs around while I work from home, and I make sure they receive lots of attention and a calm environment during their stay. Since I live in a family neighborhood with a park nearby, walks and outdoor time also feel safer and less stressful for many dogs. I’m also flexible with schedules and happy to accommodate each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. While any dog stays with me, they are treated like family and cared for as if they were my own. They are welcome to sleep in my bed if they are comfortable doing so, and I also keep their own bed nearby so they have a familiar space to relax. My day typically starts around 7:00 AM when I get ready for my remote job, let the dogs outside for potty breaks, and feed them breakfast. Since I work from home full-time, the dogs are neverleft alone and are able to spend the day with me while I work. They usually relax, play, nap, or keep me company throughout the day. After a few hours of work, we’ll go on a walk and get some fresh air and exercise. Throughout the day, I provide additional potty breaks, playtime, affection, and supervision to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. In the evenings, we wind down with more relaxing time, cuddles, and a consistent routine to help them feel at home during their stay.

“Abigail has been one of the walkers that has helped our family by walking my mother's dog, Camellia, while my mother recovers from surgery. Abigail has been flexible and accommodating as our schedules have changed. More importantly, Abigail is good with Camellia and it is clear that Camellia enjoys her walks with Abigail.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Villa Park
Mia took excellent care of my dog Raiken when she came to check on him and let him out while I was at work. It’s obvious Mia is an animal lover with a lot of experience being around pets and caring for them which is so comforting as a pet owner. She is also a great communicator and very responsible. I will absolutely have Mia back again and I know Raiken can’t wait to see her! Thank you Mia!
I had a wonderful experience with this walker! They took great care of my beagle, Bear, and made sure he had a great walk. They were reliable, communicative, and kept me updated with photos and messages. It was clear that they genuinely cared about Bear and treated him like their own. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!

Rylan, thank you so much for walking Bruno, he had a wonderful time! Bruno says, "Thanks for letting me stop and snuffle, that's the best part of walking!" I also appreciate that Rylan started walking Bruno a little early, since Bruno and I arrived at the park a little early. 😎👍🏻

I had a great experience with Isabella! She arrived right on time and was very personable from the start. My dog can be a bit timid with new people, but she was wonderful with her — patient, kind, and clearly experienced. Willow returned happily tuckered. I really appreciated the thoughtful feedback Isabella shared after their walk, too. I’d definitely hire her again!

Sydney has been a lifesaver! She has been very patient with my older dog who, although very friendly, can be pretty shy on first encounters. She has gone above and beyond of what is expected of her and has always made it a point to communicate with me throughout the day. I work very long hours and I have noticed how happy my dog has been since welcoming her into his daily routine 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
