“I'm so grateful that Victoria was available on short notice. She answered very promptly, and my lab was very happy after his time with her. I would certainly hire Victoria again when we need her!”

About: If you are looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for your dog to stay, look no further! I have always been passionate about animals and I have never lived without them. I currently have two dogs and a cat (all well trained). I have worked at animal shelters and have rescued, cared for, and adopted out upwards of 15 animals through my own home. When your dog stays with me, they will have a constant playmate through me, my husband and my other pets. We have a dog door with a fenced in backyard. We have toys and treats aplenty. I love to keep my families updated with pictures and videos of their animals having the time of their lives! Bring your fur baby over to play anytime! Most of my work happens at home and on my schedule. I regularly have foster animals so having extra pets in the home is already a part of my routine! We go on walks and play in the backyard! We have a dog door so there's always a bathroom for them if needed. However, we still walk however much you would like! Otherwise, they integrate into our lives as if they were our own.

“My dog absolutely loves Nora! She waits by the door when she knows it’s getting close to her walk time. Nora is great at communicating and very kind to my dog. I have already hired her again for another set of walks and will definitely continue to use her in the future!”

“Brittany is a knowledgeable, calm and understanding dog walker who figured out a few details I didn’t timely provide during the walk but provided excellent communication regardless. Put out food for my fur baby with good feedback on how that went, which was great.”

About: Growing up with two big dogs taught me valuable skills in handling and caring for them. My experience, combined with my certification in pet care, ensures that your dogs will receive the best attention, love, and safety they deserve. I'm in school from 8:20 AM to 1:40 PM, but I have a 45-minute lunch period during which I can check on your pets, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need while you're away. I am available almost every weekend as well. I can care for your dog in your home by providing daily walks, feeding them at scheduled times, administering any medications if needed, and offering companionship and playtime to keep them happy. I’ll ensure their environment remains clean and safe, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
“Wen has been an amazing dog walker! She took care of my two frenchies. She made sure they got plenty of exercise and water when they got back. What I loved about her is she would make sure to update me and take so many photos of my baby's. I highly recommend Wen! I will be using her in the future!”

About: I’ve loved caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I regularly walked my family’s dogs and helped neighbors with theirs as well. Most recently, I’ve been a consistent dog sitter for the past six months, staying in a client’s home and caring for their dog while they’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and adaptable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away As a college student on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet care throughout the week and on weekends. I can accommodate a variety of schedules and am happy to provide care at times that work best for you and your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and bathroom breaks, and always have fresh water available. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re my own and provide a safe, loving environment.

I have my own dog at home (an Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Maltese, Shih Tzu mix) that keeps my life exciting! I currently work part-time during my gap year, and have lots of free time to spend with your furry friends. I am also flexible and can accept last-minute bookings. I look forward to meeting your pets! I am currently working part-time before going to medical school, so I have lots of free time and am very flexible! Spending time with your animals would be the best pastime for me! I can follow your specific protocols to ensure your dog, your house, and your belongingd are all kept safe, comfortable, and happy! I also always maintain a stream of communication.
“Nora is so sweet and did an amazing job walking our pup Willow! She was very flexible and accommodating and sent lots of updates throughout. Our pup was definitely well taken care of!!! Definitely will be booking again in the future!!! :)”

About: I am the biggest dog person you will ever meet! I grew up taking care of a dog until my senior year of high school when she sadly passed away. In my senior year of college my roommate and I owned and took care of a senior dog. After she passed I decided to provide dog sitting services in the Berkeley area. I have experience with both large and small dogs, dogs that are leash reactive, dogs that are anxious, and dogs with a ton of energy! Additionally, throughout high school and over COVID I volunteered at a local animal shelter and provided dog walking and dog sitting services in Orange County! I've been told that I have a way with dogs, with many owners surprised that their normally timid pup warms up to me quickly. If you need to know your dog's in good hands, I am more than happy to give them a wonderful stay! I am home for two months this summer before I move to Ireland. My only plan for the summer is get ready for my move as well as train for my first marathon! I'm also looking to spend as much time outdoors as possible, including the park, the beach, hikes, and walks, that I would gladly have a furry friend accompany me on. In the evenings I typically like to get cozy and read or watch TV, and I would appreciate a cuddle buddy. I have a big, fenced backyard that would be any dog's paradise! I'm also more than happy to take any dog on a field trip to have some fun in the sun! I can provide lengthy walks multiple times a day and even have the dog accompany me on runs if they need to get some of their extra energy out.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals, especially dogs, since I was 9. I love animals and have sat for various types of pets— occasionally I will also get help from my lovely boyfriend. I’m currently a student attending college and I love animals. I’m super flexible and can find time on any days needed if it is possible. If needed, I can request an extra set of hands, my boyfriend, to help at no cost to you. I have 2 dogs that I care for on a daily basis. I feed them twice a day, the same time, every day. I make sure they get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day and give them baths once a week.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for over five years-walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and giving them all the love they need. I’m the go-to sitter for my neighbors, friends, and family whenever they’re away. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medicine, or just spending quality time, I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved like they’re my own. I’m a college student currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. Your pet will get lots of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I’m detail-oriented, follow instructions closely, and make sure each pet gets the attention, play, and affection they deserve.

“Took great care of our baby. I had so much going on that I forgot I had family coming over to walk our dog too. Our family member and Emilina ended up showing up back to back. Emilina helped us out by coming back later in the day to walk our dog.”

Villa Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rylan, thank you so much for walking Bruno, he had a wonderful time! Bruno says, "Thanks for letting me stop and snuffle, that's the best part of walking!" I also appreciate that Rylan started walking Bruno a little early, since Bruno and I arrived at the park a little early. 😎👍🏻

Mia's reliability in addition to her care for my Calamity Grace gave me such confidence when I was away. She also was a blessing for my elderly Mom, who is unable to exercise my girl. My mom did insist on her skipping a day, which I understand. Please give her the pay for that day.
I had a great experience with Isabella! She arrived right on time and was very personable from the start. My dog can be a bit timid with new people, but she was wonderful with her — patient, kind, and clearly experienced. Willow returned happily tuckered. I really appreciated the thoughtful feedback Isabella shared after their walk, too. I’d definitely hire her again!

Sydney has been a lifesaver! She has been very patient with my older dog who, although very friendly, can be pretty shy on first encounters. She has gone above and beyond of what is expected of her and has always made it a point to communicate with me throughout the day. I work very long hours and I have noticed how happy my dog has been since welcoming her into his daily routine 😊

This was our first time using the walking service on rover, and we were a bit hesitant at first. But Holly was amazing! She was very communicative and patient with our lengthy list of instructions! We will definitely be using her services again! She went above and beyond and sent many updates
