“My dog absolutely loves Nora! She waits by the door when she knows it’s getting close to her walk time. Nora is great at communicating and very kind to my dog. I have already hired her again for another set of walks and will definitely continue to use her in the future!”

“I tried a dog walker for their first time on Rover and came across Cynthia. I can honestly say that she did an amazing job with our dog Katara. She’s followed directions, communicated with me very well and gave us reports with pictures and videos at the end of the each walk. She was so patient and gentle with Katara and we could tell Katara is already comfortable with her after the first walk. Cynthia was so thoughtful that even on hot days, she would just take Katara to the local park and walk her there on the grass so it’s better for her paws. I will definitely continue to use her in the future and highly recommend Cynthia to anyone who is looking for to care for their dogs.”

“Bella met my senior dog, Denver, and he already loves her! From the moment they met, she was patient, kind, and attentive to his needs. As an older dog, Denver can be a little particular, but Bella made him feel comfortable right away. I also love the updates and pictures she sends during their walks. They give me peace of mind and make me feel comfortable knowing Denver is happy and well cared for while I'm at work. It means so much to have someone I can trust with my senior dog. I highly recommend Bella to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and compassionate dog walker.”

“Michelle is an amazing person and dog sitter! She cared for our dog, Tilly as if she were one of her own pets. She was prompt, thorough and professional and followed our care instructions 100%. We don’t like to leave our dog, but we knew she was in excellent hands with Michelle. Tilly was happy and content with her. We will book her again and again!”

About: My love of animals began at home with my family pets. Over the years, these included dogs, cats, ducks, goldfish, horses, and a mule named Fred. I started pet sitting in 2010 and worked with a high-end pet sitting company based in Los Angeles from 2019–2025. I also have experience with goats after volunteering on a property in Northern California. My other specialities include puppy care, senior pet care, administering medications (including insulin shots for a diabetic cat), and a certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid from the American Red Cross (2023). As of June 2026, I'm working to become a certified dog trainer via Rover's collaboration with GoodPup. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! I specialize in overnight pet sitting but am able to accommodate a variety of requests. I proudly service the entire Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, but my daycare, drop-in, and dog-walking rates are most affordable for clients who live within a 10-mile radius of Yorba Linda. I typically respond to messages within three business days. Your pet will receive high-quality care in the comfort and familiarity of your home, which helps to prevent/reduce separation anxiety and gives you peace of mind about the safety and suitability of their environment. In addition to passing Rover's third-party enhanced criminal background check, I have Pet Care Insurance™ through Veracity Insurance Solutions (VIS), a partner of Lloyd's of London that also backs the Rover Guarantee.

About: Growing up in a large family full of dogs, I learned to care for every size, age, and temperament. One of my first jobs was pet sitting for my aunt while she was out of town. She didn't need to pay me because I would have gladly watched her rottweiler puppy for free, but I found it incredibly rewarding to potty train and teach him tricks over the weekend. I couldn't believe I got paid to pay with a puppy! From then on, I took every opportunity as a kid and teenager to watch my friends' and family's pets. Only having a young pitbull at home, being able to take care of elderly or little dogs was a great learning experience. This gave me the skill set to train puppies, provide senior care such as mobility and bathroom assistance, and care for sick pets or pets with chronic health conditions. This experience has made me a well-rounded animal caretaker and cat dad. With my remote job, I am home full time and have the time and yard space to provide pet care services and boarding. My schedule is very flexible and I am available everyday. I have a fenced patio and two dog-friendly cats who stick to themselves and have their own space on the cat shelves. As long as your dog is cat friendly, I think they would get along great with a new canine friend in the house. Your fur baby's safety is of utmost importance, so I will follow any rules or preferences for your pet, such as leashing them outside, crating them, or even letting them cuddle on the couch! In your home, I will do the same and follow your house and pet parenting rules :)
“Ray was awesome! Energetic Aussie and he benefited so much from the daily walks while we were out of town. Pick up was easy form my parents and I loved the picture updates daily. Thanks so much Ray!”

About: Hi! I’m Brittany — a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to, Lilly (Australian Shepherd) and Max (English Lab). Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I know how important it is to find someone you can fully trust to care for your pets like family. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and care. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers relaxing on the couch, I’m happy to match their needs and routine to help them feel right at home. I have experience caring for large breeds, small breeds, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, and puppies. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and communication. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel happy, loved, and comfortable — and to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in great hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and am able to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will be treated like part of the family while in my care. I have a large fenced backyard. Half is a grass area and the other half is a pool that is gated. I also have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company.
About: Hi, I'm Kianna! I grew up in a multi-dog household and always loved interacting with dogs of friends/family. I currently have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd named Lando and he is the first dog I've owned as an adult. Lando is a dog that struggles with anxiety, reactivity, and sensitivity that we are working through each day. Owning Lando and learning about how to help him work through these challenges has led me to become as educated as possible on dog psychology, dog behavior, and dog handling skills. When I'm not in the office at my full-time job, I'm usually spending time with my partner, working with Lando, volunteering with a local rescue, or learning more about dog behavior through trainer membership pages, group classes, videos, and dog training podcasts. The top three trainers that I have been learning from are Jessica Graham (Honey Dog Training), Samantha Johnson (Pack Life LA), and Millie Braden (Mirror Image K9). Lando & I attended our first dog training workshop in October 2024 with Cheri Wulff Lucas. In this workshop, I was able to work with Lando and learn from watching 9 other cases. Since that workshop, I have had the opportunity to volunteer in a shelter workshop where we took 10 shelter dogs out for a day as well as volunteering to assist in group classes. I am continuously looking for new opportunities to grow my education and handling skills to help more dogs and owners in their day-to-day lives. Working through challenges with Lando and learning more from various trainers has given me the confidence and passion to help dogs be able to feel safe, supported & fulfilled in our fast-paced world. I'm currently working Monday through Friday in an office job and working with dogs on weekends to gain more experience, learn about different personalities, and explore how to best support each dog. For Doggy-Day-Care the dogs will get intentional walks focused on engagement, socialization activities, and crate time to rest in between activities. For boarding, we would do all of the above and do our best to match morning/night time routines you have. At home with Lando, I focus on structure to ensure he's set up for success. Our structure consists of exercise, crate time, place work, boundaries, and guidance. All of these components contribute to helping him feel more relaxed and less anxious. On our walks, I focus on engagement and confidence building with Lando to work him physically and mentally. With client dogs, I love to help encourage more mental and physical fulfillment through walks and structured socialization. For client dogs that struggle with anxiety or reactivity, I love to help them feel supported while gaining safe distanced exposure to triggers.
About: I love all dogs and cats no matter the size or breed. I’ve trained dogs basic tricks and proper leash walking. I love a challenge! Im available weekdays and weekends. The more time you give, the more likely I’ll be available. However, I do take same day appointments so send me a message! I will actually pay attention to your pet and not just be on my phone. I will treat your pet and home with respect. Only downside, expect me to send lots of pictures!
About: Hi! I have been a Rover customer for years so I understand how nerve-wracking it could be to try to find a sitter for my dog. I have had amazing sitters and equally as bad ones. I have a small senior dog named Mickey. He is half miniature pinscher and half chihuahua. I love animals so much and I believe that pets are family. I treat my dog as if he is my baby and rest assured that I will treat your pet with the same amount of love and care. I live at home with my husband who is also a fantastic dad to my furbaby. We do not have kids currently. I have dog sat for my friends for years so I figured it is time to extend my services to others who need it as well. Your trust to watch your fur baby means a lot to me. Please let me know everything there is to know so I can provide the best care of your pet. I work from home so my schedule is quite flexible and I am home most of the time. Please communicate and let me know what your needs are and I will do my best to support them! I will care for your dog based on your specific instructions. Since I have a senior dog myself, I inject insulin for him twice a day and he is on a specific diet. I am no stranger to caring for special needs dogs and following instructions. I am also familiar with what to do in emergencies so please rest assured that your dog is in safe hands :)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Yorba Linda
I had a wonderful experience with this walker! They took great care of my beagle, Bear, and made sure he had a great walk. They were reliable, communicative, and kept me updated with photos and messages. It was clear that they genuinely cared about Bear and treated him like their own. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!

Fabienne is WONDERFUL! I have a shelter rescue who loves people, but is extremely afraid of venturing inside of places, which includes boarding. Fabienne came and stayed and visited our "supermutt" Charger (Dalmatian/American Pit/plus loads of others) and Charger loved it. She also came over just for walks when I was gone a second time, and spent additional time with Charger and my mother's 2 dogs. It is such a relief to know that Fabienne is one of Charger's favorites and such piece of mind for us.

Britney has been walking Katara for a while and she is absolutely phenomenal!! Very easy to work with and communicates very well. We love how Britney is so patient and caring for Katara. We can tell Katara enjoys her walk with Britney! 10/10 would recommend her!

I had a great experience with Isabella! She arrived right on time and was very personable from the start. My dog can be a bit timid with new people, but she was wonderful with her — patient, kind, and clearly experienced. Willow returned happily tuckered. I really appreciated the thoughtful feedback Isabella shared after their walk, too. I’d definitely hire her again!

We can always tell when Mark is inbound Ray Ray goes crazy the minute she sees him come up the driveway and as he heads to the back, he can barely get the harness on her before she gives him lots of love. As a pit parent you always wonder can I trust the people that I’m letting my most precious pet to care for and with Mark it was never a worry thank you again, brother.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
