“Jillian was wonderful and easy to work with! Our oldest cat has diabetes and needs insulin twice daily, she followed our instructions and helped make our trip away from home worry free. We know our cats were in good hands and would 100 percent rebook her again for any of our drop in needs. Thank you Jillian!”

“Fabienne is the absolute best! My dog is a lot of work and she always seems to be able to handle him. He’s 120 pounds! She truly is a dog whisperer. We are very grateful for her and will continue to hire her when she’s available.”

“Wendy did a wonderful job watching our 2 little dogs Theo and Owen. They require special food preparation and supplements and she took extra care to see that it was done properly. She sent many photos throughout our trip which made us feel connected and confident that the dogs were well cared for.”

“She was great. I normally come home twice a day, but i couldn't this one week. She did a great job taking care of my puppy; she understood how to work potty training and my dogs loved playing with her, as evidenced by the videos she shared.”

“Lizz, is a great dog sitter! We have booked her a few times already and always know our puppy is in good hands. She’s trustworthy to enter and leave our home with no issues and gives very well feedback and pictures on our puppy. We will continue to rebook Lizz!”

About: Growing up in a large family full of dogs, I learned to care for every size, age, and temperament. One of my first jobs was pet sitting for my aunt while she was out of town. She didn't need to pay me because I would have gladly watched her rottweiler puppy for free, but I found it incredibly rewarding to potty train and teach him tricks over the weekend. I couldn't believe I got paid to pay with a puppy! From then on, I took every opportunity as a kid and teenager to watch my friends' and family's pets. Only having a young pitbull at home, being able to take care of elderly or little dogs was a great learning experience. This gave me the skill set to train puppies, provide senior care such as mobility and bathroom assistance, and care for sick pets or pets with chronic health conditions. This experience has made me a well-rounded animal caretaker and cat dad. With my remote job, I am home full time and have the time and yard space to provide pet care services and boarding. My schedule is very flexible and I am available everyday. I have a fenced patio and two dog-friendly cats who stick to themselves and have their own space on the cat shelves. As long as your dog is cat friendly, I think they would get along great with a new canine friend in the house. Your fur baby's safety is of utmost importance, so I will follow any rules or preferences for your pet, such as leashing them outside, crating them, or even letting them cuddle on the couch! In your home, I will do the same and follow your house and pet parenting rules :)
About: My love of animals began at home with my family pets. Over the years, these included dogs, cats, ducks, goldfish, horses, and a mule named Fred. I started pet sitting in 2010 and worked with a high-end pet sitting company based in Los Angeles from 2019–2025. I also have experience with goats after volunteering on a property in Northern California. My other specialities include puppy care, senior pet care, administering medications (including insulin shots for a diabetic cat), and a certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid from the American Red Cross (2023). As of June 2026, I'm working to become a certified dog trainer via Rover's collaboration with GoodPup. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! I specialize in overnight pet sitting but am able to accommodate a variety of requests. I proudly service the entire Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, but my daycare, drop-in, and dog-walking rates are most affordable for clients who live within a 10-mile radius of Yorba Linda. I typically respond to messages within three business days. Your pet will receive high-quality care in the comfort and familiarity of your home, which helps to prevent/reduce separation anxiety and gives you peace of mind about the safety and suitability of their environment. In addition to passing Rover's third-party enhanced criminal background check, I have Pet Care Insurance™ through Veracity Insurance Solutions (VIS), a partner of Lloyd's of London that also backs the Rover Guarantee.
About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats and more, including two years at an animal clinic where I administered medications, handled feeding, cleaning, and made sure pets felt safe and comfortable. I’ve also worked as a dog pack walker, managed group walks, and provided pet sitting, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I understand animal behavior and take a calm, attentive approach—caring for pets isn’t just what I do, it’s my passion, and I treat every animal like my own. I am working full time, but available in the evenings or for walks and on the weekends I can do check ins and walks! I’m more than happy to take your baby on a short or a looong walk. In your home, I provide respectful, compassionate care while honoring your space and privacy. I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep things familiar and stress-free, and I treat your home with the same care and professionalism as I do your pets. I’m clean, reliable, and attentive, making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-loved while you’re away.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats most of my life and love spending time with them! I enjoy taking my rowdy dog Violet on long walks around the neighborhood, hikes, and to the dog park! I am very understanding of cats’ boundaries and try my best to make sure they are comfortable with me. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, and even bunnies! I will treat your animal like my own and show them lots of love!🐶🐈 I am currently in Napa for summer vacation and am available to take care of your animal any time of day! I would prefer walking dogs during the mornings or evenings due to the summer weather, but am flexible. I will always make sure to complete the noted duties and double check the proper doors are closed before leaving! Not to mention making sure they have water!
“I had such a wonderful experience with booking Zoe to care for my golden retriever puppy, Arthur. Zoe was responsive and available even last minute, sent lots of updates and photos on his report card and I truly felt like he was in the best care. Will definitely be booking Zoe for future visits!”

“Jemina did a great job taking care of our cat Tigger during our vacation! She took him on last minute after another sitter had cancelled, and was a prompt communicator throughout the whole process. Thanks again!”

“OMG Sarah is the best! She was wonderful at communicating with me and making sure my babies had everything they needed and I felt they were well looked after. She also sent pictures which I appreciated. I felt I could trust her with my babies and can't wait to book her again. I have a hard time trusting new people but I felt so comfortable with her. Thank you so much Sarah!”
“Was very comfortable with our meet and greet, we had Jason watch our 2 dogs that both can not see well because of cataracts and one needs insulin, twice a day. He sent pics and or videos everyday that we enjoyed. He also picked up the pooh which we didn't expect him too. Thank you Jason, we will definitely use him again.”

Yermin did a great job with my kitty and dog. She had no problem "job sharing" with a friend of mine, who came by twice a day to walk the pup and Yermin came by each evening to make sure kitty and pup were fed and got him out for his last pee of the day before bed. She was very responsive when contacted and she was always in communication. Also sent lots of photos, which I love!

Chandler took excellent care of our senior cat Chonky. She was very attentive to Chonky's needs. She gave him amply play time, brushed him and pet him. She also took care of feeding, giving him water top ups, taking out the trash, cleaning the dishes and litter boxes. She also vacuumed the tracked litter off the floor. We definitely recommend Chandler for your cat care needs!

My cats really warmed up to Ethan although they're typically very shy with strangers. The updates and photos were prompt and very thorough as well. Ethan also went above and beyond: my cats unfortunately threw up in three different places in the apartment and he unfortunately vomited in three different places in the apartment and he cleaned them up thoroughly, including the rug under the couch. I would definitely recommend Ethan as a pet sitter.

Christina was wonderful! She was always on time and kept me updated with messages and pictures of what my cats were up to, which I really appreciated. She was responsive to texts and even went above and beyond by bringing in packages from our porch. Christina is extremely kind and caring—this is the third time I’ve booked with her, and I will definitely continue to do so. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
